I was 17 years old and living out of home with my boyfriend and his family. I had eaten a delicious chicken burger the day before, which made me really ill with food poisoning, resulting in vomiting and diarrhoea. This went on for several days leaving me feeling helpless, lethargic and uncertain of what I could keep down. Once the vomiting had cleared, I got the strength to call my father and ask his opinion on what I should do to help get better. He was a retired GP, living on his own. After our chat, he asked if I could come around to see him as he was feeling lonely. The following day, though still feeling weak and feeble, I found I had just enough strength to get off the couch and visit him.
It lives with us every day, we use it every day and yet do we ever take notice of it? The fact that we have this ability to feel more than what our eyes are receiving and what our minds are being instructed to tell us what we are experiencing in and of life.
Clairsentience isn’t a big deal, nor is it something we are alien to, only that as a society we rarely talk about it. When we don’t communicate something it can become taboo or even completely lost from being acceptable in our daily lives. In my experience nobody wants to identify him or herself as being racist. Racism is reserved for ‘other people.’ Should you point out that someone’s behaviour seems racist it will almost certainly be met with indignation.
Given that nobody is willing to stand up and be counted as being racist, it is interesting that we live in a world where racism, sexism and a whole range of other ‘isms’ are flourishing. Countries seem to point their finger at one another and exclaim, “That’s outrageous! … “How dare they! Animals!” It’s ironic really, because from what I’ve seen the animal kingdom has no problem accepting a whole host of species. In fact, the animals and plants operate as though they all need each other in that glorious ecological web of theirs.
Our body is made of many different parts and every part is naturally connected to all the others. It is not an option for each one to work in isolation and to not always be working together in precise synchronicity with all the other parts. So if one part is not supported, then the whole body is affected in some way, shape or form. Much like an orchestra playing together, one out-of-tune sound affects the whole piece being played.
It is a great understanding to have, to know that each organ, every muscle, the quality of our breath, every bodily system, even down to our cells and particles, plays a significant part in the whole – to either leave us feeling vital or depleted. Have you ever found yourself aware of things that you had no ‘logical’ way of knowing? For many years my reaction to my ability to know things caused me a lot of anxiety. When I found my way to Serge Benhayon, I had spent a lifetime trying to shut my ‘knowing’ down. Thanks to Serge, I now have a name and a new understanding for the things I have been able to feel under the surface of life – Clairsentience.
Clairsentience as I now understand it, is simply our ability to read what is really going on. It is the really bad feeling about a stranger for no apparent reason, the ability to see through the games people play and the strong feeling we get to do something out of the ordinary that only makes sense later. Clairsentience is as useful as it is confronting, as it asks us to be aware of not only exactly what is happening, but why it is happening too.
While teaching a Primary School Science lesson on Push / Pull force, I became intensely aware of how much we use physical force to maintain and support our existence in the three-dimensional world. Sharing and brainstorming at the start of the lesson all the ways we use push force daily filled the class whiteboard within minutes.
I’m at the gym – again. And I’m on the treadmill – again. Behind me I hear the yanking of the front door over and over and I have to keep myself from not getting too frustrated. You see, at my gym there are one of those doors where you need to hold your membership card against a card reader. The system usually needs about one second, which I think is quite fair, to get the door to open, but today it seems like that is way too slow for many. It’s usually too slow most days but today it seems to be particularly so. I notice that I have to really keep myself from running over and explaining that the poor door needs some time to do the job, but I stay on my moving belt.
If clairsentience is truly innate and natural, then how is it that most of us remain completely ignorant of it?
Clairsentience is the ability to read, feel and identify the energetic quality of what is going on for oneself, other people and the world in general. It confers the ability to observe situations without being hooked by them as we simply register and clock energy without reaction. In connection with the inner heart centre, we sense and feel what corresponds to our essence and what does not. In fact, all the nuances of energy are felt without judgement. We may feel a person is lying or disregarding themselves or us, but understand that this is their choice of energy – no more, no less. Have there been times in your life when you:
- Suddenly thought about someone you hadn’t heard from or seen in ages only to see them on the street, or have them call you soon after? Did you think that this was simply a coincidence, a chance event, and then gave it no further thought?
- Walked into a house and instantly felt uncomfortable as if something felt ‘off’ – you could feel it but couldn’t see or explain it as you were not too sure what it was? Did you simply think that you were imagining what you were feeling and put it aside?
- Asked someone how they were and when they replied, “Fine” or “Good” – you felt that they were not telling you the truth but you held back from saying so just in case you had got it wrong?
Recently I have been reflecting on the many ways I have sought comfort in the past, and I realise how for most of us these would have been considered normal ways of living. I am becomingly increasingly aware of the dullness in my body when I choose many of these comforts now, but there are times when I still make choices that are not fully supportive for me.
With a deepened honesty and awareness of the truth of how I am living, let me share the many ways I have been in comfort.
