Moving with the Ageless Wisdom

Settling in to my new home, I have time to reflect on the miraculous flow of events that have brought me to this point, and how they unfolded.

I wasn’t looking to move although I had begun to feel that my son and I were outgrowing the sweet mews house that we had been renting. I had a week off work and, as you do, casually yet curiously browsed the property pages.

One thing led to another and, three days later, I found myself standing outside number 7, waiting for the agent to arrive. The property had just been redecorated and was yet to be marketed – I was the first and only person the agent was showing the property to.

Stepping inside confirmed for me what I had been feeling standing outside… this felt like home. The agent took the time to run a credit check right then and there standing in the kitchen of my new home, and the deal was pretty much done by the time we left the house an hour later.

The magic continued happening as my landlord agreed to let me give shorter notice than usual, I found an awesome and affordable team who could move me, my bid on eBay won a stunning fridge freezer at a price I could afford, and a woman I’d only recently met sold me her practically new washing machine in the brand I had been looking to find for a fraction of the cost when new.

I collected boxes from a number of different sources and when I started the packing process I found – amazingly – that I pretty much had not only the exact number of boxes I needed, but that the various sized boxes were exactly suited to my needs.

As I packed I took the time to feel into and listen to my body as to what item to pack in which box, and when I got to that last little bit of each box where I might have wondered what item would be the perfect piece to finish the box off with, I didn’t have to hesitate as before I knew it the perfect item was in my hand and being placed neatly in the last space left to fill the box.

I felt an incredible sense of completion with each box as I sealed it with packing tape. My awe of all that was happening spilled over into joy-filled laughter as I packed box after box in the same dedicated manner and before I knew it, most of our belongings were boxed and ready for the move.

I took three days off work to facilitate our move. The keys to our new home were handed over to me on the 8th and we moved on the 9th. My son and I had planned on cleaning the new house from top to bottom on the 8th before we moved in however, things didn’t unfold that way so we cleaned as much as we could taking great care to listen to our bodies and not exhaust ourselves.

I was able to borrow a carpet cleaner from a work colleague, so my son cleaned the carpets whilst I cleaned the kitchen and bathrooms. The joy I felt and carried within me throughout the cleaning process was quite amazing. I stepped into our new house that day with the intention of re-imprinting the energy within the house, and I felt an endless supply of support coming my way in doing so.

Equally, before handing back the keys to the mews house we had just vacated, I cleaned the house with the same feeling of joy and support. I was very clear about leaving this house with an energetic imprint of loving support equal to the imprint in our new home.

The unpacking process has been similar to the one of packing. Each item I have unpacked has its place determined almost before getting it out of the box, and the joy I felt in placing each item into the box before we moved is being felt and confirmed as I unpack one item at a time and the right placement in our new home is felt and found.

Some dear friends offered to help in what way they could, so I asked them to come over one Sunday to hang things for us. They lovingly supported us as we chose what to hang where and offered their input and clarity when something just didn’t feel quite right. Three Sundays and lots of laughter later, everything is hung and placed in such a way as to allow and enhance the flow of energy throughout our beautiful new home.

Curtains were needed for the new house, something I mentioned in passing to another friend before we moved in. He immediately offered me the two sets of curtains that had been left hanging in the house they had moved into a year previously which turned out to be beautifully custom made curtains, the right size and length as well as colour.

There were a few hiccups during the move, however these were minor things that didn’t affect the overall flow of the move and the space was there to accommodate these changes.

Because this move was not something I felt I had consciously decided on and planned – rather, it unfolded before me – there was no agenda and I had no expectation of how it was going to or should look.

Staying connected and maintaining a sense of playful awe throughout removed all the stress that is normally associated with a move, and my son and I were left to enjoy the whole process from start to finish.

Since choosing to become a student of Universal Medicine and The Way of The Livingness, I am finding that moments of loving support such as this are showing up in my life with more frequency and are becoming my new norm.

Returning to a Soul-full way of living is allowing me to re-connect to the gloriousness of my inner-most, which in turn allows for a plethora of support from the Ageless Wisdom to flow through me. Being connected with Soul brings a joyful, harmonious rhythm to life that can revolutionise everything – even something as stressful or seemingly inane as a house move.

  1. When we follow our heart we can not be led astray and thank God for Serge Benhayon for introducing the science of being cardio centric again to our lives.

  2. The Body of God is the pulse of Life, we need to surrender to that pulse and sync ourselves back into the natural order and flow of Life and then experiences like Brigette’s won’t be unusual they’ll be common place for us all. Imagine the whole of humanity synced back into the rhythm and flow of God. Glorious!

  3. I felt I was walking every step of the way as you established a foundation of nurturing support in your new home and leaving an equal imprint in where you had been living.

    1. It feels to me that we are all just standing on the spot and imprinting what and where we are, as opposed to ‘moving forwards’ and leaving everything behind. So as I sit here momentarily rattled by an exchange with a work colleague I need to remember the truth of what I’ve just shared.

    1. I agree Leigh, as opposed to what most of us do, which is to hammer away at things forcing them to fit. When something has been lined up already for us to step into then there’s a natural ease and flow which is sublime.

      1. Alexis what you have shared resonates with me hammering away at life until it fits the picture I have. Which I now realise is in total disregard to the flow of how life can be.

  4. The Joy of allowing life to unfold as we simply go with what our body is sharing makes life feel more natural without any of the usual dramas that can creep in as you have shared Brigette.

  5. Like every movement when we move our location it can be of service to our body or a disconnection and from what you have shared Brigette, you have given many the opportunity to evolve including your-self.

  6. “Settling in to my new home” When we are settled within ourselves the settlement moves with us.

    1. Mary I’m finding when we allow settlement within ourselves it actually allows for more settlement and interestingly this is something that people can feel. I have had many people say they like being with me because they can feel the settlement in my body and their body wants to naturally align to it. We all have this inner quality of stillness, it is just a matter of reconnecting to it again.

  7. If life doesn’t flow then what? is it even questioned or considered normal? know for myself if it didn’t flow I took it as I need to try harder, push more or give up and believe there’s something wrong with either myself or others. But what if things are designed to flow that doesn’t correlate with what we want life to be? Life flowing is far more joyful than trying to control that it flow a certain way, in which case there is no flow in that.

  8. Great blog showing that something we consider to be such a stressful time in our lives, really doesn’t need to be at all and the practice of the Way of the Livingness ensures the move is done without the usual physical and emotional drain.

  9. This is a wonderful blog showing everyone what can be done when we work with our soul, life becomes simple and uncomplicated. So what is blocking us from listening to our soul?

    1. Could it be our spirit, who has run the show before we started to listen to our bodies and that inner-most connection to our essences or Soul as is presented in The Way of The Livingness?

    2. Being able to listen to and respond to our soul comes from our alignment and our alignment comes from our movements. Our movements being the way that we move our limbs, what comes out of a mouth and also what we think. If our movements are aligning us to a consciousness that encompasses our spirit then it makes it almost impossible to hear and respond to our soul.

      1. Greg and Alexis I totally get what you are both saying especially what you have written Alexis
“If our movements are aligning us to a consciousness that encompasses our spirit then it makes it almost impossible to hear and respond to our soul.”
I am just getting a sense of just how much we are driven by our spirit so that it feels impossible to connect to our soul, this is such a lie but then the spirit lies constantly to get its own way. By listening to the silence can we hear and understand there is another way to live. How many of us stop long enough to listen to the silence that actually communicates so much intelligence?

      2. Mary astral consciousness is in and over pretty much everything, even ‘listening to silence’ has been infiltrated by pranic consciousness. That’s not to say that ‘listening to silence’ can’t be soul infused but to say that silence itself doesn’t guarantee true connection. All spiritual/new age pursuits come from a consciousness that is determined to keep us away from the truth and it has a very clever ploy of taking things (such as ‘silence, nature and connection’) which can be inherently divine and infusing them with a consciousness that is anti-divinity. The truth is even an activity like doing the dishes can be Heavenly if a person is aligned to Heaven through their movements in the same way that listening to silence can be full of everything that Heaven is not.

  10. For things to flow in a natural rhythm, it is about being open… and it helps when those around you are also being equally open. Imagine if we did this all of the time, at work, at home with chores and jobs, imagine how much more open and fun life would be…And that is actually our natural way to be – and so it exposes how much we like to complicate things and stop this flow! How ironic that we would fight our natural way to be!

    1. This is very much how our natural way to be is, Henrietta, I agree. Life feels so very different, as do I, when things flow in a natural rhythm and I’m in sync with that rhythm rather than creating things to put a stop to it. When we are in our natural rhythm we do wonder how we could possibly fight the flow of our natural way to be, but fight it we do. Very ironic indeed.

  11. Brigette – I love reading how the whole move unfolded, from the moment you ‘happened’ to look at houses to the point of having settled into the new place. The ease and flow of this is a new marker in life – we often think things need to be hard work or complicated when indeed they can be fun and flowing. It is about allowing this more into our lives.

  12. “Because this move was not something I felt I had consciously decided on and planned – rather, it unfolded before me – there was no agenda and I had no expectation of how it was going to or should look” – this is gold. It’s like we think we have to pre-decide how our conversation will end, where our movement will take us, etc., but really, that is what gets in the way of us accessing what the space in that moment is offering. It’s very beautiful to feel how all that is needed is our connection, and keep connecting and keep appreciating that connection.

  13. It’s a great study in the differences between the two sources of energy we can live from – spirit or soul. I’m sure we can all relate to feeling stressed, anxious, and pressured by time and worries, and things not flowing well, and then feeling smashed at the end of an event like a house move. This blog is such a great example of living from soul, and how when we are connected to our love everything flows, and we can through appreciating our experience go deeper into feeling the magic of it all, and enjoy the wonder and awe as it unfolds. Two very distinctly different experiences!

    1. So true, Melinda. Living from Soul is everything it’s cracked up to be, and so much more. So very much more. Enjoying the wonder and awe as it was unfolding is exactly what my son and I did as every little thing down to the tiniest detail was provided for. We got to truly feel what being a vessel of God’s love feels like; the flow, the harmony, the grace and the love. And from there, living this past year in this house that continues to be so supportive of our expansion and deepening love is a magical gift that I appreciate on a daily basis.

  14. I’ve had more support in the last 10 years than I ever have for what feels like a very long time. It’s now normal to feel so at ease with life. All from re-building a connection with and listening to my body.

    1. That is stunning Leigh, I too have found the friends I have made the the courses and workshops I have been to with Universal Medicine have shown me how we can be with each other when there is a front footing for dealing with the dynamics that would normally be pushed under the carpet. The support and love is amazing. You are spot on, it develops an ease with life that is rare.

      1. Lucy and Leigh I was recently counting my blessings that life feels so easy and at last I don’t feel I’m fighting life to justify my existence any more. The absolute love and support that is there for everyone to partake has been given to humanity by Universal Medicine this organisation headed by Serge Benhayon offers a way of life without the fight and struggle that we ‘think’ we should have.

  15. There can be such joy in the simplicity of bringing our presence to our daily tasks and movements. Moving with such care and presence is a lovely example of this.

  16. Every move is a choice and is how we approach life. I’m often told at the end of a few weeks of working away, you must be glad to go home. And yet what I feel is my work and home life naturally flow one with the other, with no deep divide. For me it’s all one life and where ever I am is home/work without distinction.

    1. Awesome to hear Kehinde – and I sometimes find the opposite for me in having such ease at work and then feeling like I bring in complications at home, but being aware of this means that I am able to work on this and recognise when I stand in the way of the ease and flow and try to make things difficult. And so now I am more aware that the flow can be allowed to flow at home too!

      1. Beautiful Henrietta, we’re all constantly expanding our awareness. It helped me to connect with flow within myself and when I did, found it where-ever I was.

    2. Kehinde2012 I also used to travel a lot and be away from home for weeks at a time sometimes, but as you say whether you are away or at home if there is a flow then there is no difference it is just what it is and it is a magical feeling to be so settled with what you are doing. Being at an airport and watching the nervous energy people are in is very telling that there is no flow and could this be why we get so exhausted because we are going against the flow? A bit like swimming upstream against the current of the water.

  17. Your move perfectly constellated for you and your son and the flow of the move emanated from within yourself. Beautiful.

  18. This is pretty much the opposite of every move I have heard others share. The lightness and playfulness is what is the most striking with what is normally described as one of the most stressful things to do. Maybe there is another way!

  19. Being connected with the soul brings a huge sense of contentment which in turn brings a great sense of flow and ease into our lives.

    1. There’s nothing that the soul can’t do with absolute ease, nothing. It’s us that categorise things. We divide everything up, literally everything, then we stick labels on everything, either we like it or we don’t, either it’s a good thing or it’s a bad thing, it’s either work or it’s leisure, someone’s either our family or they’re not and on and on it goes. We need to look at the world through the eyes of our soul, one life and one life only.

    2. Elizabeth I agree that being with our soul. brings a level of contentment which is a beautiful sensation after years of living on nervous energy which has that feeling that something doesn’t feel right in our bodies so there feels like an edge to life.

  20. To self-care is to honour the demands of the body, sleep when the body is tired, eat when the body is hungry – simple, just like babies and animals respond to their body’s needs we as human adults can learn some of that and see how it impacts our day to day.

    1. You never see a deer having a nervous breakdown or turning to entertainment and addictions. Their lives are very simple. Being obedient to the body certainly pays off regardless of species.

      1. Absolutely, it amazes me how we look at our society problems and have no explanation for them. So many people are struggling with sleeping patterns, but “nobody knows why” – yet we demand that it’s our right to stay up until whenever we want and watch whatever we want, we demand that we want our coffee and sugar, forgetting the basic needs of the human body.

      2. Being obedient to the body certainly does pay off, Leigh – we have so much to learn from those we share this incredible planet with. How did mankind become so arrogant that it thought it could leave the body behind?

  21. It’s amazing how simple life can be and how supported I can feel when I stop the pattern of making things bigger than they are, or into a struggle. I have discovered that part of me likes struggle, as it’s my struggle and whatever I achieve is against these odds. Whereas when things flow, that part of me knows it had nothing to do with the outcome and had everything to do with allowing the support that is always there.

    1. Fiona What you are actually saying is that we make life about the individual, and as you say when we make life about the struggle we focus on ourselves and not the all that we come from.

    1. Yes, the pull for completion is very strong and such a pleasure to work with when you embrace it rather than resist it because it is saying ‘yes’ to the new beginning.

  22. What a beautifully confirming testimonial to what happens when you say yes to the Ageless Wisdom and with it, the truth. This is yet another confirmation of how life can actually unfold when we trust and do not let anything get in the way, especially thinking that we know how it should be unfolding. Getting out of our own way is such an important first step to the natural flow of life

  23. Thank you Brigette, beautiful to read this again, a sense of every detail being taken care of, and yourself and your son trusting the miraculous flow of events and enjoying the magic of it all. It is truly tremendous what unfolded and the imprint of each movement made to set up your home and how it all must feel. This is a great line also “everything is hung and placed in such a way as to allow and enhance the flow of energy throughout our beautiful new home.”

  24. I love how this unfolded so naturally and easily.. just one thing leading to another and feeling your way, step by step. This is how simple and easy life can be when we let go of the pictures and follow the cues from our body on what’s needed next.

  25. I am clocking and appreciating all the support coming my way too since becoming a student of Universal Medicine, and the main ingredient is love, making life about love, starting with loving self and taking responsibility for one’s life.

  26. I love that you gave your old house the same time and attention as your new house, and how lovely for the new people moving in to receive your love and care taken.

    1. I agree jacqmcfaddwn04 when I moved from the rented house I left it in state of greater repair than when I first moved in. The next house I moved into I did not check the cleanliness before hand I was told it had been cleaned and I took the word of the rental agent. When I moved into the next rental house it was way below par and I insisted that the rental company send out the cleaners again, which they did. I then got to see that the cleaners did not care about the work they did spending most of their time on their mobile phones. It was interesting to observe how other people work and that if they don’t enjoy the work they are doing it shows in the end result. so many people do not enjoy being at work and see it as a necessary chore in order to have enough money to live on.

  27. It is beautiful to read and it reminds and confirms that when I stay connected, allowing life to unfold rather than pushing for an expected outcome how easy, joyful and loving living life is. To live that way is The Way of The Livingness.

  28. Whether we are moving house, or simply moving our bodies, we can bring grace, or we can bring trigon dysfunction… The thing is to realise we have a choice.

  29. Is what is in front of me worth celebrating or not? Something can seamlessly manifest without me trying, as if by magic, but this thing could equally be constellated to support our connection, return to and expression of Soul, or it could be plotted to get in the way of such an unfolding. It seems that the plotting can easily happen when I have a need and an aspect of self I want satisfied, while the constellation is a never just for me, but a gift that embraces the All.

I love how you describe “Staying connected and maintaining a sense of playful awe throughout” and also the fact that you drew on the support of so many people, showing that in effect this move was not just an insular thing for you and your son. The two of you were open to including and embracing everyone in the gift that was offered. Such ways of living and holding each moment to me determine if the original seed of what is on offer is plotted to hold us back or one of constellation for the evolution of us all.

    1. I too love the idea of ‘playful awe’ because sometimes when life presents us with so much magic we can tend to be a little stunned and in the process get a little serious. I am really going to be very aware of being playful as I move through my day today – and every day of course.

  30. It seems that the main reason for your great experience was because you are willing to appreciate, and to listen to what the flow of life is telling you. This is because of you, of who you are and the choices that you have made, which is awesome.

  31. The way you share this makes me realise that simply moving my body with connection throughout my day without drive, stress or agenda let’s what’s truly needed come up. It’s nothing we need to pursue just a quality in which we move.

  32. It is quite incredible how much life is able to flow smoothly – with everyday magic happening around us all of the time- when we stop trying to control everything and make it fit pictures of how we think things ought to be.

  33. When we are truly connected to ourselves we allow the flow and joy of life to express through us and magic does happen, always in the most incredibly beautiful and supportive ways.

  34. All I could feel as I read your blog Brigette was how you completed the old and stayed open to the new beginnings on offer. Great blog.

    1. Completing the old is, perhaps, something we have let slip by the wayside as the focus has become more on where we are going with little thought to how we leave things behind. Completing the old allows us to be open to the new beginnings on offer without hindering the all that these new beginnings come endowed with.

  35. All of our greatest advances seem to occur when we stop driving ahead for some holy grail and totally accept and surrender to the all. Just being open to the divine plan and not obstructing with beliefs is what’s needed.

  36. This is a great example of what is possible when we just got for it with life and don’t resist at all, when we make life about something greater than just function and existence, even the biggest and most challenging events can feel super simple.

    1. Meg such wise words
“when we make life about something greater than just function and existence, even the biggest and most challenging events can feel super simple.”

  37. We are settled by the innate quality of stillness in our hearts. There is no such thing as overall pride needed, for when the connection from our heart remains, we can either attend to it or not, the choice is totally up to us.

  38. ‘Staying connected’ – simple, our choice and absolutely possible in every moment of every day. And as I wake up to my body and its clear and deliberate sign-posting it is obvious that to attempt to ‘do’ life disconnected from my body is very irresponsible.

    1. Agreed Matilda, it makes a huge difference when we choose the simplicity of being connected with ourselves. The whole difference with doing life and getting through life vs taking care in our connection and way we live life is quite incredible.

    2. yes, it is our choice in every moment to reconnect – there is an empowerment in this which allows the body to feel inspired and on the front foot of your day

  39. Getting ourselves out of the way and letting go of expectations and any preconceived ideas allows the space for God’s magic to flow through us and into our lives.

  40. Indeed moving with the flow in life is about not getting stuck in the pictures we have about how things should turn out.

  41. Every time I read this blog, I feel the potency of magic and harmony and the sheer joy of living and aligning to our Soulful essence, living our future now!

  42. Moving with the ancient wisdom, the flow and harmony constellated is beautiful to feel and very expansive to know and live with the appreciation this allows us all if we choose it.

  43. I love how so many people were part of making your move so smooth. It just goes to show what we can do when we work together.

  44. From personal experience I have been able to do things and deliver work that is way beyond my ‘skill capacity’ when I get myself out of the way.

  45. All it takes is our willingness to say ‘yes’ to that which is being asked of us and then watch it unfold. It sounds simple and it is; it only becomes a struggle when we choose to resist.

  46. This is such a joyful way of moving, what a difference with how highly stressful moving house is experienced by many. To be connected and let it unfold opens us up for the support that is always around.

  47. The ageless wisdom applied to the practicalities of everyday life makes what was once a struggle an absolutely amazing, life-enriching experience.

  48. What a difference to feel how it can be to move with a flow, compared to many moves I have had in the past with much stress, drama and turmoil. The support we can accept from those around us and in the energy of the Ageless Wisdom is quite a stark contrast.

  49. When we are open and connected to our Soul the magic of God can flow through us and seemingly miraculous things happen. I say seemingly because the miraculous things truly are miracles but in truth they are a part of the natural flow of life.

  50. Whilst moving with the Ageless Wisdom or having things flow in such a beautiful way is not an experience most could say they have had, to have shared what is possible provides an opening for others to feel and to know that there is a different way.

  51. It seems like we don’t need to control and stress about events but rather surrender to them knowing we will be supported, doing all we can.

  52. The Ancient Wisdom is always there within us, so it does move with us, but, we can be dismissive and unaware of it due to being too busy, distracted, or a hijacked by one of many emotions. It’s once we connect to our body, deeply settle and let ourselves feel the quality of stillness within, that we then recognise this flow, and begin to live and move with it.

  53. There will come a point where the alchemy and magic discribed in this post become our new normal. But no matter the stage we need to confirm and appreciate how we are touched by God’s hand.

  54. We can either overthink every move or move with our inner wisdom. It is as simple as that, as you have clearly shown here Bridgette.

  55. It is so true that we might be offered something that looks really good and fits our needs, but do we consider whether it is energetically true for us or not?

  56. Whilst we might have a particular picture and attributes for a house or car we might want or need, in the end it might come down to being able to feel and discern what is the right opportunity or option for us.

  57. I love it that when we just have enough time to get things done and go for it in that time, there is a quality of efficiency and commitment that does not give space to complication and indulgence as there is just no time for that. Then life becomes easy and simple and that is what your move felt like as well.

  58. “Staying connected and maintaining a sense of playful awe throughout removed all the stress that is normally associated with a move, and my son and I were left to enjoy the whole process from start to finish.” This is almost unheard of for a house move. An inspiring read.

  59. Life needn’t be hard, complicated or drawn out, if we follow what we feel in our heart. But if life is sticky then don’t dispair it’s just showing you there is something deeper there.

  60. Life is no longer mundane when we appreciate all the things that constellate around us that allows us to feel in the flow and rhythm of the universe.

  61. This is a great example of how we can choose to do anything, small or large, when we let go of control and let it unfold by staying connected and surrendering to the flow.

  62. I’m in the process of moving house, and I too am blown away by the magic as it unfolds. I jumped for joy the other day when my house moving boxes came my way through a man with a rubbish cart! He was carrying exactly what I needed and willingly gave them to me. I have found the bed that I want very easily and it’s on sale at a reduced price. I have booked my removal services through a friend who shared her company discount with me. It’s so wonderful to witness and appreciate that I am being given exactly what I need without having to push for it. It all just arrives. A great confirmation that the way that I am living is in flow with the nature of the universe.

    1. It is a great confirmation Rebecca of how steady, settled and connected you are with your body and how this allows the flow of magic to bring you all that you need exactly when you need it, without any trying, stressing or doing. Gorgeous.

  63. Lovely that you asked friends to come over and help you hang things in your new home, instantly bringing more joy laughter and brotherhood into the house.

  64. The Exoteric – the outward expression – mirroring the Esoteric – living in connection, the flow, the grace, love, stillness, harmony and joy – in movement, A house move that most definitely confirms ‘moving with the Ageless Wisdom’

  65. When we are in the flow of life we are saying yes to the constellations that are before us. However it is always our responsibility to discern the energy behind what is appearing before us.

  66. It is literally ‘moving with the Ageless Wisdom’ as it is not about knowledge but a knowing put into action, ie. living it and thus become its lived expression.

  67. An amazing magical sharing of the flow of how life can be lived in connection to ones innermost with the ancient wisdom waiting to be poured on us wherever we go.

  68. Such a great example of how when we connect to its essence and go about life then we are supported by the core essence we come from, the Ageless Wisdom and this is consistently there with All that it offers when we so choose to connect to it.

  69. I too am a student of The Way of the Livingness, and have found a deeper understanding of life and of myself and my relationships with others. And I do not appreciate enough how simple my life has become!

  70. We are supported beyond anything our heads can fathom, I am very much learning to let go and surrender to the support available and it is all about not having a picture about what that support looks like but rather feeling the quality of what is being offered and responding from there.

  71. When we stay connected to the natural flow of life, it is remarkable what can happen with such ease.

  72. “Since choosing to become a student of Universal Medicine and The Way of The Livingness, I am finding that moments of loving support such as this are showing up in my life with more frequency and are becoming my new norm.” Beautiful. It’s amazing how many glorious and totally unpredictable moments occur when we live the Way of the Livingness. .

  73. Today I heard a quote mentioning the relationship of us with the eternal wisdom. It was the word ‘eternal’ that prick up my ears as it helped me to get more aware of what the Ageless Wisdom actually means, the endlessness and abundance, the unchangeable forever lasting omnipresent sphere of wisdom in which we live, the divine laws and rhythms immutably holding and embracing everything that is. To feel being part of this boundlessness is deeply settling.

    1. It is like coming home but then the Divine home. Then wherever we are, with whoever we are, we are home. Home in our bodies in this vast sphere. Life becomes an unfoldment. No doing, just going with the flow.

  74. “Since choosing to become a student of Universal Medicine and The Way of The Livingness, I am finding that moments of loving support such as this are showing up in my life with more frequency and are becoming my new norm.” Isn’t this marvellous? I completely echo your sentiments, Brigette.

  75. The magic in this blog brings me back to read over again and feel the joy and the grace in your house moving, something that can be for most people very stressful and exhausting. There is a different way to be and live in this world, clearly highlighted in this sharing – It is the way of the Soul.

  76. To me there is no grander way than the Way of the Livingness. From experience and observation, I see anything other doesn’t work, one may get results but at a great cost to one’s health, not to mention results that only feed discontent on a profound level when one is honest.

  77. I love the title, it shows that there is a constant in our lives, a purpose, a sense of belonging, a coming from and going to.

  78. Staying connected and surrendered is a very spacious way to live. I have felt what this feels like and it is very inspiring, something to look to living more and more.

  79. Beautiful Bridgette such a loving and inspiring sharing that really highlights how the benefits of the way of the livingness in our lives can be .

  80. Bridgette how lovely to read – gosh can you imagine how easy how simple and how loving the world would be if we all tapped into this inner knowing.

  81. ‘Being connected with Soul brings a joyful, harmonious rhythm to life that can revolutionise everything – even something as stressful or seemingly inane as a house move.’ So true , connection is everything.

  82. I love it when I witness that people are choosing to live simply with love, care and honouring of themselves and everyone else, and that they let this be the foundation for what unfolds in life. The stories are so confirming and truly inspiring.

  83. ‘As I packed I took the time to feel into and listen to my body as to what item to pack in which box’ – When we give ourselves the space to be present in our bodies and truly feel what is being communicated, we are guided what to do next.

  84. “Because this move was not something I felt I had consciously decided on and planned – rather, it unfolded before me – there was no agenda and I had no expectation of how it was going to or should look.” Having no expectations – for a move – is amazing, as we often have a picture of how we want things to be, or how it ‘should be’.

  85. I moved recently too and had much the same experiences. Learning to live in connection with the soul and making choices from the body rather than the tricky mind brings such a delicious simplicity and enjoyment. As one who was dedicated to complication this is miraculous! Complication kept people out and me locked in. Simplifying and letting go of a set picture and expectation leaves so much room now for magic to happen and it always does when space for it is allowed.

    1. So true, Jeanette. Not only does complication keep people out and us locked in, it keeps us locked away from our own Divinity and humanity has taken to it like a duck to water in the belief that this is just the way life is. Humanity has chosen to forget that although a duck can choose to swim upstream, it has two further options: to swim downstream and with the flow and or to take to the air and use space to support it in where it is going. Ducks would look a bit foolish if they only chose the former over the latter two, exhausting themselves in the process. But it would seem that that is exactly what humanity is doing – so caught up, blinkered and engrossed in making progress swimming upstream that the option of swimming with the flow and or using one’s wings is but a forgotten memory.

  86. I love what happens when we just follow that sense of feeling to do something, and when to do it, with no expectations or pictures of how something will go or how it’ll end up. There is something very beautiful and spacious in letting go and trusting what we feel, and moving from there.

  87. It is super important that we appreciate the amazing way that life unfolds, things do not happen by chance, it is worth us observing this and pondering what it means for us and all.

    1. True Samantha, it is super important that we appreciate that what is naturally available to us if we choose to make it part of our life. Nothing happens by chance, it is all by our choice to connect to this what is already there and to let it unfold without interfering with it from our minds.

  88. This is a beautiful example of how things can flow and constellate when we trust what we feel and follow our Soul’s impulse without any pictures or images of how things need to be. It is incredible to live in this flow and rhythm where we allow our Soul and God to guide us.

  89. When we live in a way where we know we are not alone and that we are completely held and supported, things are simple. This example shows how based on how we live there can be a Flow to things and a momentum that cannot be owned – but simply appreciated.

    1. Nailed it, HM ‘…a momentum that cannot be owned – but simply appreciated.’ Ownership rips us out of the flow of life like a lasso used to catch cattle. Like cowboys we sit high and proud on the back of our horse flaunting our horsemanship and the belief that we have mastered a skill oblivious to the fact that not only are we stunting our own evolution, we are interfering with the evolution of the horse and cattle to boot.

  90. What you have beautifully shared in your blog Brigette can be in all areas of life when we have the connection within, trust and allow what is to come, discerning as we go.

  91. I am with you Bridget Evans .. I could speak of the same; and beautifully expressed because people need to know we have an endless supply of support from heaven if we choose to make it about love. I recently had a big big move I undertook in my life. New partner, moved interstate, and new job — and all else in between. All flowed like it was seamless and just meant to be. There was also ‘stuff’ to deal with but even that was not too hard. It is when you make life about purpose to restore love back on earth — everything is taken care of. So much to appreciate about the bigger picture of life…

    1. Loving this, Rik, that even the simplicity of a move when undertaken with purpose and ‘with the endless supply of support from heaven’ can ‘restore love back on earth’. Just goes to show that one doesn’t need to walk on water after all.

  92. The absolute joy of the ageless wisdom is something we build in our lives with our livingness and well worth sharing as it is the golden key to our lives and the harmony and flow we belong to and comes from our very essence within.

  93. I love that when we have no agenda, plan or pictures of how something should be or look, this allows so much space for things to flow naturally and effortlessly, as described in this blog. Could also be titled; Moving with Magic!

    1. Yes, I love it too Jacqmcfadden04. There is a huge difference when we do things already filled with expectations, pictures and images, and in my experience when I do this, it leaves to me feeling very stressed, controlling and feeling disappointed especially when things don’t go to plan. Letting go of control, pictures, and images, and start listening to the messages from my Soul, life becomes a joy, everything flows and I feel solid within myself. And, from this, nothing from the outside world seems to be able to disturb the flow, steadiness, and connection unless I allow it to.

  94. This blog to me shows so beautifully how life can flow if we say yes to its cycles and and surrender to the Ageless Wisdom of it. Life then simply tells us what will be next once we have set the first step on this path. We do not have to think it over but feel from within what is next to do, but too to be in constant appreciation of what is been given, effortlessly so.

    1. It actually is that simple, Nico, ‘Life then simply tells us what will be next once we have set the first step on this path.’ Such beautiful truth in these few words.

  95. I do know that feeling too from recently moving houses as well. To leave the house you are leaving in a way you would like to find it when it would be your new house. For me it feels to make the house a present for the new people that will live there after you, only not with a nice wrapping or a beautiful ribbon with a bow, but with an imprint of love instead.

    1. When we are leaving someplace we have stayed for even a few days, we enjoy leaving the place as a welcome space for the persons that will be coming to clean the room. We strip the beds, fold everything and gather all the trash in one place. An imprint of love costs nothing but is priceless to those that receive it.

      1. Yes Steve, it cost nothing, it is naturally there and honestly, I could not do any different than leaving that imprint of love wherever I go.

      2. This is gorgeous, Steve. Leaving a place where we have stayed in such a way that the person who comes in to clean is greeted with not only a lovely surprise of a place vacated with such care but they get to feel and experience, if they so choose, a whole different way of being in and with life.

  96. What a gorgeous flow you experienced Brigette, an awesome reflection of what you have aligned to.

  97. The Ageless Wisdom teachings will support us in every day, not just a special day like moving house, all we need to do is ask and feel how it flows.

  98. I really enjoyed reading this blog and the joy i felt in it. It is a joy to live in that flow with life rather than against it. It shows how much magic of something greater is at work all the time, the Livingness of the Ageless Wisdom, which is very practical in everyday life, we can either jump in the flow or step aside.

    1. Indeed Karoline, it makes us to feel that it is not only us that have to do all the hard work, but that there is so much support from everywhere, also from the unseen, that what you call something greater but are simply our elder brothers that are always there to help us when we choose to live with the natural cycle that is on offer. Then we even find that the hard work is not hard at all, as living in this connection makes everything joyous, simple and especially light.

    2. That is correct Karoline, and for me the Ageless Wisdom has inspired me to live in a way that supports my life in every way. I can now see the magic in life, feel and appreciate the abundance of love and joy that is within me and around me. Whereas before, I was so caught up in pictures, images, and control, I didn’t even realise I was feeling miserable, angry, stressed and exhausted until I stopped and took a good look at the way I was living and realise it was not loving. Thank God for Serge Benhayon for bringing back the Ageless Wisdom to humanity and with his living way inspiring thousands and thousands of people to be inspired to live The Way of The Livingness and the Ageless Wisdom.

  99. This is wonderful to read how you have embraced being supported and moved in a way that’s allowed all the wonderful things to come through. It seems to me that, for example, the curtains aren’t just a gift given but a gift that keeps on confirming your choices to say yes to God and bring with them more than the practicality of what curtains do.

    1. Spot on, Karin. Each time I open or close the curtains it is a very visual and felt confirmation of my choices to say yes to God – as a wise man we know once said, it is not to let the light in, but to let my light out every time I open the curtains. The same goes for the fridge-freezer, I open and close the door and drawers with a very felt connection to the beauty of life’s flow when living in harmony with all that is on offer. There is a wonderful playfulness with the fridge-freezer especially as the brand is Haier and The Hierarchy and I have a good chuckle about that one every time I go to get something or put something away 🙂

  100. When we choose to be in alignment with true purpose and commitment, a completely new standard is then the norm. The joy felt in this blog is gorgeous and there is no doubt that some unseen hands were supporting the harmonious flow with you Brigette.

  101. Moving forward, listening to and in line with our bodies, will naturally keep things simple and flowing because we do not push ourselves to reach an end goal.

  102. Reading your contribution, it feels as though you have been enchanted by the seeming miracle of how it all unfolded, in its own time and rhythm.

  103. If we can make our every move, taking into account the wisdom passed down through the ages about self-responsibility and being all we are truly are, then we will make every move count as an impress of love.

  104. ‘I was very clear about leaving this house with an energetic imprint of loving support equal to the imprint in our new home.’ That’s our responsibility towards each other to bring the same love where ever we go and leave ‘the old with the imprint we know everyone is worthy off. What a blessing for the new tenants to receive.

    1. Yes, Annelies. In the past I have found it a chore and a nuisance to have to clean a place that at the time I felt was solely for the purpose of getting my deposit back or, I would pay someone else to clean it for me. This time I couldn’t contain the joy I felt whilst cleaning, knowing I would be leaving the house with an imprint of love to welcome and embrace not only the next occupants, but the landlord as well. Leaving the house with no expectation or picture of how this imprint of love would look for either party, just an offering available should they choose to connect to it.

  105. So gorgeous to read Bridgette, what a beautiful confirmation and reflection of your own livingness, “Being connected with Soul brings a joyful, harmonious rhythm to life that can revolutionise everything – even something as stressful or seemingly inane as a house move.”

  106. How life flows when we are connected and in the divine steam, wonderful Brigitte!

  107. Brigette, the more women who do what you are doing which is re-claiming yourself and your voice the greater it is for everyone in the world.

  108. i have had house moves like this before, where I have felt my way and allowed the whole process to unfold. Everything falls into place simply by allowing this.

  109. Allowing the Universe to flow and getting ourselves out of the way inspires harmony and expansion.

  110. Isn’t that just so, Elizabeth. And what is so awe-some is that when we live in connection with our soul we feel that endless-ness and have a deep knowing of the magic of the universe.

  111. What a beautiful flow and harmony that feels so amazing and real and something we all have the ability to allow in our lives by connecting to who we are, allowing life to unfold before us and not trying and pushing to make things happen and live to the pictures we create.,

  112. The magic, the joy and the ease with which you moved is a gorgeous confirmation of how you are living, and a timely reminder, that we all have access to this way of living and relating with every choice we make, which is either harming or healing.

  113. It’s a shame that there is a sense of surprise or that this story is extraordinary. When I think of moving or recall other people’s experiences, it sounds like a lot of work and not much fun. Wouldn’t it be amazing if this story was the norm and we allowed all the support to be there to find the right house, movers, boxes etc? It is an opportunity to leave a very supportive imprint in the house you leave for the next people. It is also a great opportunity to choose what you take with you, so the new house has what will support you without the clutter.

    1. I absolutely agree Fiona, it is very telling that we make this extraordinary, when really, this is the true normal. Why is it that in general we refuse to see that anything less than this, any struggle or complication, we actually create ourselves.

    2. It would be amazing if this story was the norm, Fiona. Indeed it would. The more we can share stories that show the incredible amount of support that is available to us simply through changing our choices and movement, the more the ideals, beliefs and consciousnesses that abound can be looked at, questioned and chipped away. One doesn’t have to be qualified, ordained, selected or approved to start making different choices and to start feeling the flow of life that is on offer to all by doing so. The opportunity to de-clutter on the energetic as well as the physical level creates and supports the space to start accessing this harmonious flow of life.

  114. It’s fascinating to see how this magic is denied when we get ourselves in the way.

    1. It is fascinating, Michael, I agree. And fascinating that we actually choose getting ourselves in the way over getting ourselves out of the way over and over and over again, wondering why the magic of life seems to continually escape us.

  115. What if we took death of a loved one, divorce, moving, major illness or injury and job loss as a positive life event? Death is a celebration, divorce is a re-constellation, moving is an opportunely to shed what is longer needed. Illnesses are stop moments and a reflection of how we have been living. Losing our job is because they were not ready for our light.

  116. I love the ‘no-effort’ quality of your moving. It can be felt the loving imprint behind every movement you did. What a beautiful reminder for me to start this brand new day… Thanks Brigette.

  117. Without expectations we are much more accepting of whatever comes our way, open to dealing with it when it happens rather than controlling what unfolds before us, and thus not giving space for any flow but the one we consider to be the only one we want to have which ends up with no flow at all but a forced way forward.

    1. That’s a great point Alexander. Without expectation you accept what comes as what is needed or in the flow of life. Accepting it all, means you don’t have the heaviness of wanting or expecting it to be another way and being disappointed.

    2. So very true Alexander. Having expectations is like having the blinkers on and cutting oneself off from all the support and the many opportunities that abound, to allow all to unfold naturally, effortlessly and with the touch of magic described here in this blog.

  118. Simplicity is a lost art these days but when we re-connect with the Ageless Wisdom we connect with simplicity.

    1. So true Elizabeth. Great to observe where we find complexity and to surrender to the simplicity which is possible in its place.

  119. When the day flows, and there is a joy in our every movement, it is confirmation that we are in a rhythm with our bodies and the Universe.

  120. The joy I felt while reading your blog Bridgette was not only inspiring but infectious, enough so that I will endeavour to take this infectious joy with me into my day.

  121. I love how everything just fell into place for you confirming the choices you made to make the move happen.

  122. Moving with the Ageless Wisdom – to experience flow we need to be in the flow; hence although it seems to just happen without us doing anything to make it happen we have contributed to it in an often not so obvious way as it is not necessarily a linear process.

      1. I agree Steve. Brigitte, the way you chose to live in harmony with your son in your old house opened up the space for your move without conflict or effort. Awesome to be able to work with your son in this way.

    1. Yes, the effortless-ness of moving with the Ageless Wisdom, shows just how it is natural for human beings to be living with our Soul and in its flow, and yet there are times and incidences in life that would appear to counter this movement… Which further confirms we live in a sphere of energy that requires awareness and choice of the way to live.

  123. Today I just missed a train and I took a while finding a location. What I noticed was that in the past I would have used both as evidence I wasn’t loved by God (I know, pretty extreme) and I wasn’t worthy of love!!! Crazy because both are everyday things and easily done.

Today though I have myself a break. I enjoyed the extra walking about and asking people where I had to go and the extra space missing, well actually just waiting for the next train gave me. There isn’t a rush for me to get home so nothing to fight against which what I would have been like previously fighting time to get somewhere. Perhaps this can be extended to all parts of my life. The knowing of when to complete things and when something is in the grace of what is needed.

  124. A timely and super supportive article to read just now. We are moving house next month and you have offered a standard and the reality of the possibility that this will be fun and full of learning.

  125. What a great blog. House moving is seen as one of the bigger stresses to go through yet you show from beginning to end how it can be done effortlessly through staying connected to yourself being aware of the care needed for yourself and others, and allowing each step to develop. I like how encompassing it was for all who were involved and the joy felt throughout the whole process.

  126. It’s amazing what happens when we don’t put expectations on ourselves or a situation. This blog is such a contrast to the stress and tension normally experienced during a house move. It shows the impact of presence and connection.

  127. What you have showed us all here Brigette is how we really can live in a simple and flowing way on a regular basis when we have said yes to connecting with our soul and living in a way that is guided by our bodies. I have recently felt a similar ease at work and sometimes catch myself asking ‘can it really always be this easy and effortless?’ I feel that we will always encounter challenges and unforeseen events, but its just how we react or not to these and stay observing and reading the situation that helps keep us in that flow.

  128. When things appear to magically fall into place, how important is it to still keep feeling each step of the way and feel if there is an expansion or an ‘reduction’ in how we feel. Sometimes the unfoldment is effortless and shows us how easy and divine things can be and other times the apparent ‘ease’ is leading us away from our true focus. The only answer here is to keep feeling each step and celebrate our connection and learning. I have had both experiences and in one it was a true support whilst in the other it was a distraction, but the best thing ever was learning from this. And in the same way, I have also experienced having something divinely unfold for me, and I have delayed or sabotaged things to stop myself from really going to the next step. Silly really the things we can do, but what a learning life is too!

  129. This blog is a great example that life does not have to be pushed against but rather we can allow ourselves to say yes to what is within us and move with that instead of struggling and resisting the natural flow that is there when we surrender to what is already known in our body.

  130. It is awesome when we follow an impulse to do something and let the process unfold so that expectations do not get a chance to come in to sidetrack us.

  131. When we allow the flow, we don’t get stressed and agitated. It isn’t always straightforwards but there is so much to learn following the rhythm of our bodies, when we get out of the way of how WE want it to be, and allow the order that flows to simply be how it is.

  132. This should be made into a children’s story to show the magic of life when we let control go.

  133. This beautifully shows when we don’t stress, don’t push, don’t control and don’t go into drive but instead surrender, let go and go with the flow just how much we are supported and how very simple this can be. Something I need to learn more!

  134. Gorgeous to see how, when we relinquish our own agendas, we are able to feel our way forward through our bodies and in doing so, allow the magic of God to manifest.

  135. It’s absolutely incredible how relationships can flourish over purpose; when there is a purpose to spending time together, the conversation is often dynamic, evolving, inspiring and appreciative and in my personal experience working alongside someone is the best way to get to know them and who they are.

  136. Moving with the Ageless Wisdom is to live with a ‘miraculous flow’. However, ‘miraculous’ has the implication of being unusual or exceptional when in-truth it should be our norm and through the choice of how we live it can be.

  137. There can be relief and a lack of stress when we plan and are organised in life, but what you are describing here is an order and flow that comes from being connected to oneself and accepting of what life is offering.

  138. Yes I get this feeling too sometimes, Brigitte, when I cannot deny the hand of God in everyday life – ‘My awe of all that was happening spilled over into joy-filled laughter’.

  139. I love how the immediacy of following your impulse to look at rental properties, just as a casual look, resulted in a move that supported you and your family. It would have been easy to ignore this and override it with, I’m too busy, or it’s not for now, or I can’t be bothered.

    1. This is such an interesting comment, rachelmurtagh1, as there wasn’t even a consideration to override and ignore my impulse to look at rental properties – not because I was feeling in complete alignment at that time but because I was convinced that I was not in a place to be moving…physically, financially or emotionally. Plus, what would it look like if I moved my son and myself twice in the space of 14 months?? Little did I know what The Hierarchy had in store for me 🙂

  140. In deepening and expanding the spaciousness that comes with connecting to Soul we are allowing the next step to enter our consciousness, the next step is always there but whether we receive it or not depends on the constancy of our connection and spaciousness.

    1. Yes, rosemaryliebe, I was very aware of how crucial my constancy of connection and spaciousness was during this time. It was interesting to note that, not long after we moved, I felt this constancy waning and slipping away. I was going through some clearing and got caught up in the details of what the clearing was about which obviously wasn’t as supportive as simply staying connected and surrendering. Having re-established my connection to Soul, the space is there to allow for the clearing AND to maintain the constancy of connection.

      1. Your reply is most deeply appreciated Bridgette as I felt my understanding of these words deepen as I read them “the space is there to allow for the clearing AND to maintain the constancy of connection” .

  141. I have moved a few times to say the least and the last couple have been super awesome in the way of things falling into place, having the dedication and preparing the space and leaving a space has such an effect on the follow on from the move. Everything matters.

  142. I love how this process was not made just about you but about everyone. Everyone was supported during the move just as much as you were.

    1. This is such a relevant piece of the puzzle, Joshua. I could feel the reflection my connection was having on everyone involved even if they didn’t voice it. From the estate agent to the removals guys to my friends who offered help – even the couple I passed some of my moving boxes on to just last week. All had the choice of being blessed with the reflection I was offering. I agree that it is never about just one person.

  143. Wow, most people find moving to be one of the most stressful times in their lives, what you share here shows that it doesn’t need to be this way if we choose to move in the rhthym of our soul.

  144. This to me has the touch of magic: you didn’t have to do anything, what was needed was given to you. Each one perfectly constellated and you open and ready to receive.

  145. What a gorgeous reminder that we don’t need to try to control and push. In fact the opposite – this always gets in the way of the deeply supportive unfolding that the Universe naturally offers.

    1. Wow, Golnaz. Your comment has taken me back to the beginning of being human and the effort, control, drive and craving for individuality that must have gone in to the creation of the human body. And we haven’t stopped. This need for control, this drive is in complete contrast to ‘…the deeply supportive unfolding that the Universe naturally offers’ and is the white rabbit that has been pulled from the deceiving magician’s hat that has absolutely nothing to do with the Magic of God.

  146. A beautiful example of how life can unfold and flow even in the most supposedly in stressful of activities.

  147. There is a stark contrast between trying and observing an unfolding. The latter, there is no attachment and there is a flow naturally progressing one step at a time. There may be one or two hiccups along the way but the outcome has already been made and that is set as a foundation to build on.

  148. What you show is when we connect to the bigger picture, the rhythms and cycles of life, that life has a flow and when we allow this everything just falls into place without us trying to make it happen. It can be so easy to interfere and try to control things but all this does is stop the flow of life. A great reminder for us all, thank you Brigette.

    1. And the beauty was, alisonmoir, that once in the flow I simply did not want it to stop as more than ever before, everything just felt so harmonious and in sync, and the joy and love in the spaciousness that was on offer simply felt amazingly divine.

      1. So true and very different from when we go into drive to get things done and being totally exhausted and unable to carry on. Spaciousness is key to allowing things to naturally flow to the rhythms and cycles of life.

  149. “I felt an incredible sense of completion with each box as I sealed it with packing tape. My awe of all that was happening spilled over into joy-filled laughter as I packed box after box in the same dedicated manner and before I knew it, most of our belongings were boxed and ready for the move.”
When we honour ourselves and respond to what feels true, the body sings and smiles from deep within.

  150. I remember someone saying that in the top five of stressful things in life, moving house and hanging pictures were up there… it is very inspiring to hear the beautiful way you moved and how it felt normal, as a way of living, and that you recognise this as the support and foundation of working with Universal Medicine.

    1. Working with Universal Medicine has absolutely been the support and the foundation that was sorely missing from my life, Matilda. I am forever appreciating the day I walked in to one of Serge Benhayon’s workshops for there was a connection made and a recognition of the truth in what he was presenting that had been lacking in the dozens of workshops I had attended around the world in my search for truth. What is so empowering in my moving experience is that it was simply a matter of choice…no fuss, no should I/shouldn’t I. I got myself out of the way, aligned to the flow and enjoyed the magical unfoldment.

  151. When we put ourselves out of the way and follow the flow of life that naturally presents to us, things start to fall into place and unfold one after the other. That said, we tend to look and plan too much forward in time, but this will only give tension and anxiousness in the body because our body can only be in the now. But when we just surrender to the natural flow, what to do next will be presented when finishing the last. The planning is already done for us.

    1. I agree Nico, saying yes to what is being offered in the now prepares me for the future. I am learning to say yes with consistency to the responsibility of what is being asked of me in each moment.

  152. We have to become aware that we leave everywhere an energetic imprint. So to when we leave our house for a next occupant, the new occupant will step into the imprint we left. How I feel about this responsibility is that I will leave it like I would have it when entering new.

  153. When we have a move where everything flows and when we come to unpack at the new home an opportunity to access all that is no longer needed is presented.

  154. ‘…I pretty much had not only the exact number of boxes I needed, but that the various sized boxes were exactly suited to my needs.’ This whole blog is testimony to how simple life can be without trying.

      1. This is absolutely how it was, andrewmooney26. Exhaustion, effort and stress never entered the picture because there was no picture. Unlike previous moves, I didn’t have to pull any ‘all-nighters’ – the latest I went to bed was 10pm on a couple of occasions and like you say, Karin, all without ‘trying’.

  155. It was interesting as I read this to feel how I put limits on life… I kept thinking, “what – more is being offered?!” as things continued to ‘fall into place’ for you Brigette. But, it is true, that when we align to our Soul and accept what is offered, there is so, so much more.

    1. I know, Paula! For me, that was where the playfulness came in because I just kept being offered more and more and more! And I could feel that the more play-full I became, the more I kept being offered and continue to be offered. Aligning with our Soul opens up a whole new way of being in life that is light, playful and filled with so much joy.

  156. It so lovely to feel your joy and willingness to align with all that is offered Brigette… very inspiring indeed.

  157. “Being connected with Soul brings a joyful, harmonious rhythm to life that can revolutionise everything…” It is the connection that is key – and all else flows from there.

  158. What a delightful unfolding. A house move is considered one of the more stressful events in our lives and you show there is another way to be with it. When we are in the flow life unfolds beautifully and we are gifted with unexpected support.

  159. When we are open to allowing things to unfold, it is amazing how things constellate perfectly to support us.

  160. There’s a true order to what we are called to do in life. Our spirit interferes and gets things out of sync to get us to say ‘it’s just not possible’. This complication comes just from resisting what truly is there to be done.

  161. Brigette, reading you article I can feel how important it is to allow the flow that comes if we are open and not trying to control life with a picture of how it should be.

  162. A beautiful example of how life can unfold when we are not standing in our way.

    1. This so true yet paradoxical for we are so conditioned to believe, or at least I have that I have to be in control of my life. However, the more I have strived to control my life the more complicated it became and the more I seemed to be less in control. When I manage to let go of control attempting to pre-empt everything to fit a desired outcome and instead allow life to unfold so life flows much more easily, I actually feel more in control.

      1. Yes, and maybe control is simply not the right word and we have been fooled to think we need to be in control. It is more being in tune or in rhythm what is natural to us. Little babies I find are a great example, they do not control life, they just are in life and live to the rhythm of their body.

      2. Yes, to be brought up to be in rhythm with the natural flows of life and nature is to be in harmony, while to be in control is to be conflict between one in control and that which is controlled.

  163. ‘Stepping inside confirmed for me what I had been feeling standing outside… this felt like home.’ This highlighted to me the importance of being aware and in touch with what we are truly feeling as in any situation we then get to feel this more within the environment and our body receives a confirmation of this like you did here.

  164. We are currently living in total contrast to our natural way of being, as almost all of our movements are devoid of The Agelesss Wisdom. However we are all returning to a way of being where our every move is in accordance with The Ageless Wisdom, because this is our natural way of being. There is very little that is natural about our current way of being, even though it feels natural to us.

    1. I so felt the contrast of this during our move, Alexis. There truly is nothing natural about our current way of being and the feeling as everything constellated around me was so play-full and filled with joy and in such contrast to what ‘the norm’ is that it tickled me pink.

  165. Indeed, Doug! We get such mileage out of the recognition we get from claiming ‘I did it’. And the more complicated we can make it the more we feel we deserve that recognition and the stronger our urge to resist the natural flow of the universe.

  166. After reading this blog and the joy that can come with moving home, I started to work on our home move – booking in appointments and clearing out things in our home. The feeling is so awesome – to not be in delay and to start looking at what is needed 2 months in advance so nothing is a pressure.

    1. Your comment, HM, has highlighted for me that although this most recent move for us appeared to be a very spontaneous one, what I am now connecting with is that during the year we lived in the mews house I was constantly clearing, decluttering and letting go of things on a physical as well as an energetic level. When we moved in to the mews house, I had an inner knowing that this was going to be the main purpose for living in a place with very little physical space….the house was actually offering us space in another sense of the word to clear out the dross which was no longer serving us. A clearing that was absolutely necessary on so many levels which then allowed for the next constellation to occur. So yes, looking back I can absolutely appreciate your choice to not be in delay and to start looking at what is needed in advance. Embrace and enjoy your (every) move!

  167. This is gorgeous to read and my body would love to move house in this way. What a joy it can be when we move with the rhythm of our soul. I’ve been feeling that it is time to look for a new house for our family and will definitely be re-reading this, when and if, the time comes to pack and move.

    1. “What a joy it can be when we move with the rhythm of our soul.” I agree Aimee… and the more we do move in rhythm with our Soul, the more joy is there to be lived.

  168. I recently had an amazing day, that suddenly became really seemingly out of sync – unable to find a parking space, forgetting to take something important to the exam I was going to – i could feel the pull to go into reaction, to stress out and feel wobbled by it but instead i stayed steady and with the knowing that it would all work out and in the end the exam was the best I have ever taken.

    1. A great point, Rebecca, that even when things do not seem to be going smoothly, our approach is the key to whether we stay open and ‘in the flow’ or react and resist.

      1. I agree Matilda – it can feel really hard to remain in that flow when something goes badly wrong – we can feel caught up in the deluge of self destruction/criticism, but there is always the option to stand back and find the response that allows us to take responsibility, without crashing and burning, and move on into the next.

  169. Such an amazing sharing, thank you. Its amazing the flow that there can be in life, and this doesn’t mean there is no struggles or issues or difficulties but it totally changes how we relate to and deal with them

  170. ‘Being connected with Soul brings a joyful, harmonious rhythm to life’ – Indeed it does, true soul-connection cannot but influence every aspect of life.

  171. I love your title by the way Brigette, Moving with the Ageless Wisdom – the levels of meaning conveyed within it in – both your physical house move and the movements you describe in alignment to the teachings of the Ageless Wisdom.

    1. Yes me too; the quality of our movements does have an affect on the ‘movement’ and flow of everything in life. It beautifully reveals that there is a depth and purpose to everything, a multilayered awareness that we can access, a knowing that nothing is coincidental and everything means something.

      1. That’s beautifully expressed Victoria “there is a depth and purpose to everything, a multilayered awareness that we can access, a knowing that nothing is coincidental and everything means something.”

  172. When we live in a totally connected way we magnetically pull to ourselves everything that is needed in each moment, it is a beautiful magic or alchemy that happens.

  173. Ah the joy of an unplanned yet amazingly ordered and coordinated life. It is beautiful to feel how supported we are when we allow it and stop trying to control everything.

    1. I love this, Fiona: ‘Ah the joy of an unplanned yet amazingly ordered and coordinated life.’ This move gave me a delicious sampling of exactly that and has taken my understanding of living soul-fully to a whole new level.

  174. So true, Jane, and through this lived experience I am finding that actually there is nothing in life that needs to be stressful, tense or exhausting as long as we approach it with loving purpose and align.

  175. It is joy-full, Richard, and I am trusting that finding my voice on paper with pen in hand as it were will evolve into finding my voice in the spoken word and expression as well…..

  176. When we move with the Ageless Wisdom, then moving house, moving our bodies, moving anything comes with a grace and ease that is received in our bodies, which empowers us to lovingly pass on to others.

  177. When we live from the understanding of the Ageless Wisdom we are in harmony with the Laws of the Universe.

  178. I really enjoyed reading this blog, Bridgette. I love how everything that was needed, down to the tiniest detail, was taken care of. Thank you for sharing this as it is a beautiful confirmation of how things can constellate when we can follow true impulses having got ourselves out of the way.

  179. I love how you were so open to allow all this to happen even down to the help you accepted from your friends, if we were all so willing to be open to the natural flow of life and energy the world would be a far more harmonious place.

  180. Brigitte, I love how you allowed others to come and support you at the right time or provide you with what you needed, as this shows such an openness to letting things constellate for you rather than trying to be in control or do it all on your own.

    1. Yes, Janet, it turned out to be such a pleasure to allow others to provide us with what was needed. Because I was in complete alignment with the flow of the move, the openness that was called for to allow others in came naturally and without expectation. A new marker for me to be sure!

  181. The Ageless Wisdom is a great support in living all aspects of life, from moving home, working, relationships and generally supporting the physical body. It supports the living of life from a completely different perspective and… it works!

  182. I love the fact that when everything flows like this there can be no doubt that there is something far grander that we are connected to which is working with us.

    1. No doubt at all, Michael, I agree. The wonderful thing is that the something far grander is SO awesome and SO amazing!

It can also be quite challenging to trust in the grandness of it as it is not something we are raised with or have experienced as a way of being reflected back to us from those around us and is contrary to the daily struggle that life has become. And so every opportunity for alignment with this grandness allows for the building of a foundation that will eventually become our everyday norm.

  183. There is a flow to life which is what you are sharing with us all Brigette, and for the majority of us we live outside this flow and I wonder if this is why as a race of human-beings we are so sick because we are out of rhythm with the universe.

    1. Absolutely, Mary. It’s like being in this flow there is no space for illness or dis-ease as there is complete harmony in every way and on every level. And the same can be said a bit differently for living outside of this flow – there is no space for harmony and joy when living life out of sync to our natural rhythm.

  184. The title of your blog perfectly describes the joy, ease and wisdom that comes with following those impulses we feel and then how everything seems to constellate thereafter. No push, struggle or angst… but effortlessness and joy is a great confirmation of the impulse and feeling, in this case to move house. Imagine if we all lived life more like this … what harmony humanity would live in…

  185. Beautiful sharing of how amazing it is when we trust and allow things to unfold in a loving and supportive way.

  186. Brigette one of the many things that I loved about your experience of moving was your almost childlike sense of wonder and awe, as things appeared to miraculously unfold in the way that they did. It proves that our sense of wonder is not relegated to childhood alone.

  187. It’s super simple, when we allow ourselves to go with the flow then life flows and when we fight the flow, then life becomes a mish mash of struggle and strife.

  188. Having moved house and also helped move many people over many years it can be such a joy to finally be able to settle into what has been constellated as the nest that will nurture our bodies.

  189. Some of the most valuable things come our way when we let go of any planning or pictures of what it is we want. There is a natural order and flow to life that is beautifully harmonious when we do not put obstacles in the way of it.

  190. Beautiful Brigette, it just shows what support is always there but we choose to block it. When we are connected, we are open to receiving the flow of life without placing complication in front of it. We are so loved and provided for.

    1. We are so loved and provided for, Kim! Only once before have I felt to this extent how incredibly loved and provided for we truly are and this beholding was simply too awe-some and power-full to withhold from sharing.

  191. On a temporal level moving house is in the top 3 list of most stressful life events and yet what you offer is that we make it like that whereas it can be a joyful proces full of completion, connecting and new beginnings.

    1. Yes, and its also one of the top three most supportive things – your house, your car and your work. Of course the thing that brings them all to life, and infuses them with love, is the people in them!

  192. Your sense of playfulness and appreciation as everything occurs is a beautiful to and fro with the magic at play.

    1. I just couldn’t help myself, Rosanna! It was like the magic was swirling and twirling all around and through me, inviting me to join in the absolute joy of connecting with the Divine.

  193. When I read your title I could see how we can also move literally, as in every movement we make, with the Ageless Wisdom and then there will be simplicity and grace in each moment as well. It really can be like you described in every part of our lives if we allow it so.

  194. This shows me that listening to what we know to be true can be our guiding light in life. Anything else only leafs to complications and unnecessary suffering.

      1. Very true, Steve. I loved the way I started every day in the build up to our moving day. Waking up, moving and living in and with the flow was so joyful and allowed for such a harmonious approach in my every waking moment.

    1. Totally Kev, we actually have to call in such a force of complication, self, drama etc. to stunt and block the flow we can so easily all naturally connect to.

      1. It’s a funny old world where it has become preferable for us to call in forces of complication, self, drama etc. rather than live in the joyful, harmonious, loving energy that we all simply are.

  195. We all feel instantly when a surrounding does not support us anymore in our evolution- question is, if we follow the impulse or if we stay in the comfort of convenience and good old known.

    1. Yes, what youre saying shows me being responsive to life is a livingness, a constant loving connection to the rhythms we are all a part of. Fighting this to stay in the old causes great disturbance in our bodies which, if we are stubbornly choosing to stay this way, we have to source more energy to resist and keep things the same as they were.

Going back to old ways is so abusive. I’ll explain with food. Sometimes I want the same satisfaction, comfort from food I once got. But sensations now show me what I’m eating isn’t agreeing with me. To try to rekindle something that I’ve moved on from is very anti evolutionary as I am not appreciating where I’m at or saying yes to the next step, and I’m digging my heels in with horrible energy!

  196. It’s in the mundane everyday things where the magic of rhythm and flow shine.

    1. Question only remains, if we appreciate these moments enough, so that they can naturally multiply themselves?!

    2. So true Gabriele, and we tend to look for joyous moments in the big moments in life but in truth every moment is an opportunity for us to connect to the magic, rhythm and flow.

  197. We are so gracefully prepared to deal with anything that comes our way.

  198. Lately, I have been appreciating more and more how gorgeously supportive, simple and effortless it is to embrace the unexpected and allow things to unfold rather than all that trying, planning and control that used to try and run my life like a sergeant major.

  199. I think it’s great that you cared as much about cleaning your old home and how you left it for the people moving in as cleaning the new home you moved into.

    1. I agree and this is a beautiful example of working and moving house with responsibility, energetic integrity, love, care and attention to detail. Also, it highlights that everything we do does matter because energetically we can feel the quality of the space we leave behind and the quality of space we enter into. So, it is deeply healing and supportive to take this level of care in everything we do.

  200. When we move with connection we have instant access to the wisdom of the ages. And what ancient sages have said is to make every move you make about Love. So moving truly leads to wisdom it seems.

  201. What I have noticed in my life is that sometimes things really flow and fall into place like in this story and sometimes they don’t. And both situations are equally valuable and enriching for even in the situations when things don’t go to plan or don’t flow it is usually showing me something that I need to see or learn about my life, or sometimes I have an idea of what I want in my head but then things work out differently, often for the best, even though it was not was I was initially expecting. So I guess the key here is to not have any expectations or assumptions about what things are going to look like or turn out like but to keep steady in the moment and feel what is needed next.

  202. Wow, that is quite a story – congratulations. Recently my husband has had a bout of good parking karma. Whenever he arrives somewhere a car pulls out and a parking space opens up. It has been going on for a few weeks now at shopping centers, the airport, everywhere, so we always get the best parking spot immediately. However, when we are open as you have described, our experiences can be joyful regardless of what is happening on the outside, and it is not always about everything being seemingly perfect as often the so-called wrong is exactly right!

  203. Yes Doug, and letting go of our way is not that easy because we have been so attached to doing everything our way for so long, but what a difference it makes when we say yes and allow the support of the universe.

  204. Bridgette, I love the care and attention you gave to the way you left the mews house for the next person to enter. This is almost unheard of with house moving whether it be for rent or for sale and would have been clearly felt and so welcoming for the new tenants moving in.

  205. Brigette, I enjoyed reading every word of your blog and could feel the absolute flow there was in the move to the new house. As you say when we do something from a place of connection something very different happens, something that our bodies definitely welcome.

  206. Amazing Brigette, the simple ease of your move is palpable.
A house move free of complication and stress is rare, however it is your willingness to let events unfold that leaves space for true enjoyment.

    1. Ah yes LucindaB, when we allow space we also access joy and the playfulness in a task, rather than the push to get it done.

  207. When there is a flow like what you’ve described with your new home, sometimes the only thing we can do is not get in the way of letting the magic unfold!

    1. Getting ourselves out of the way is the best recipe for allowing rhythm in our lives and creating the opportunity for magic to happen.

  208. A beautiful and loving read, thank you Brigette. It is so confirming of the simplicity and wonders of living from the Ageless Wisdom.

  209. Brigitte reading this blog has put a smile on my face for the joy I can feel in you as you share your soul-inspired house move of completion. Awesome.

  210. Life can be incredibly simple when we follow what is true. We should never get complacent though but appreciate the heck out of the things that take place to support us to live with such grace.

  211. Delicious, Brigitte…a life full of joy and harmony can indeed become the norm when we let go of the identification with our hurts which keep us small, and open up to the grandness of the universe we are very much a part of.

  212. Brigette, it is very beautiful how our bodies know which house to choose; ‘Stepping inside confirmed for me what I had been feeling standing outside… this felt like home.’ Every house I have moved to I have had the feeling – often before even going in that this will be my home, it is an instant knowing and not something that I have to think about and weigh up. I love the simplicity of this and how our soul guides us in this way.

  213. One of the greatest teachings of the ageless wisdom is that we are all equal. And this can be witnessed in the activity of life when a person feels that they are being taken care of.

  214. What a massive difference we can make to all these types of stressful situations when we literally move with the impulse of our soul and relinquish our self-important agendas, expectations and demands.

  215. Moving house can be so stressful for people sometimes, but this feels so different. I love how you allowed this move to unfold and flow.

  216. What you are sharing with us all is how much we can be supported if we just allow this other energy to flow through us. It’s not a one off it is there the whole time. We are so lost we do not realise or appreciate that we are all held in God’s love, I hate the fact that we have stripped ourselves of this basic knowing.

  217. When we surrender everything comes to us. This is something I am learning in complete opposite to what I have been taught – no trying, no mulling things over in my mind and no effort but a willingness to deepen the relationship with myself and know and trust my next move is given to me through surrendering within my body.

  218. Exactly Doug, my way which was my old way was always a struggle…. surrendering and going with the flow brings such simplicity, much joy, and a feeling of being surrounded and held in love.

  219. ‘Because this move was not something I felt I had consciously decided on and planned – rather, it unfolded before me – there was no agenda and I had no expectation of how it was going to or should look’. This feels very spacious, and perhaps that’s the key to allow the magic to happen and take care of everything so smoothly.

    1. Absolutely, jacqmcfadden4. The move as a whole felt like one single, spacious movement – there were days and nights yes, but there was no separation in that it was one complete package that unfolded and once I had aligned my vibration, the package was delivered.

  220. When we stop trying and lose the pictures of what our mind thinks should be and surrender, the flow of life that unfolds around us will always far exceed any expectation!

  221. I love when things move in a flow and we can join in this movement and allow to unfold what wants to be unfold. This only can happen if we can set ourselves out of the way and that is what I do read in this blog, there is a willingness to adhere to the flow of life and to follow the impulses from the Soul. Lovely to read, a confirmation that such a life is possible because it exist and happens therefore so important it is written and shared.

    1. So true, Nico. It totally felt like I was joining in with a movement that was already in motion and I simply aligned. Within this movement there was absolutely no need to question or doubt the process that was taking place; just an utter surrender to the flow of the Divine.

      1. Indeed Brigette, we then live the divine and are in rhythm with all of the universe. How would life look like if we all would live like that, can you imagine how then the world would look like? It would for sure be a much more beautiful place, with honesty, transparency and true love, qualities in life we all are so longing for.

  222. I am curious what moving houses energetically means. To me it feels that it is about the expansion of our livingness and the next level of living the divine in the human body on this planet earth.

  223. My goodness me, what reading this article highlights is just how ridiculously hard we have made our lives. Absolutely everything has become a struggle; our work life, our home life, our relationships, everything is difficult and fraught with complications. And the tragic thing is, it doesn’t need to be this way, it is only like this because we are living in disconnection from our soul, once we re-connect back to our Divine anchor then life is a seamless flow of magic and ease.

  224. Connection with the Soul does make life so much more graceful, so much more joyful and so much more beautiful and yet at the same time, it does not stop us from feeling the disgrace and the lack of joy and the not so beautiful things that abound around us in life. Life is not in effect about things all ‘going as planned’ and being smooth and beautiful on the outside, but what if life is about feeling the connection with the beauty of who we are on the inside, whilst dealing with all of the things we see on the outside?

    1. Beautifully captured, Henrietta! ‘..what if life is about feeling the connection with the beauty of who we are on the inside, whilst dealing with all of the things we see on the outside?’ As I was aligned with the extraordinary flow of my move, I was also dealing with the ordinary as in work, commuting, relationships, etc. Through it all, nothing could waver me from the utter simplicity with which I stayed in the flow yet I was able to bring this connection to all I was dealing with on the outside as well. An incredible moment and movement to expand on and evolve in.

  225. It is very special (and yet our real normal) to step into a home and know that this is ‘home’, or to meet a person for the first time and yet know that you know them, or to write or say something for the first time, and yet feel like you have known this forever. This is the magic that awaits when we let ourselves feel the deep connection within and when we take each step in life with this knowing whilst embracing it at the same time in full.

  226. Brigette your account of your house move is utterly delightful, quite literally full of delight, an absolute joy to read, as well as being a lesson in life.

  227. This is a beautiful example of letting go of expectations and set plans, and allow things to unfold. We have been thinking about moving house for a while now and I can feel already how many expectations and images I have already taken on. Reading this blog is supporting me to trust what my body feels, let go of any images and expectations and allow things to unfold without push or the need for things to be perfect.

  228. ‘Returning to a Soul-full way of living is allowing me to re-connect to the gloriousness of my inner-most, which in turn allows for a plethora of support from the Ageless Wisdom to flow through me. ‘
This just shows me what’s possible and how much I can put obstacles in my way to trip over!

  229. Brigette, what did you do before you got this amazing confirmation? How did you live?

    1. I like your question Christoph as it requires movements and choices ahead to then become the beautiful flow that occurred. It would be interesting to know more about Brigettes´ choices beforehand.

      1. Ah Christoph and Stefanie – you raise a beautifully tender moment. Tears of joy fell as I pondered on this Universal Law of Constellation. I have yet to fully understand my answer to your question, Christoph, but what I do know is that in all that I have been appreciating throughout this move, I had not been appreciating my choices beforehand that ‘then became the beautiful flow that occurred’ as you say, Stefanie. I am now however, and the depth of all-encompassing love that has risen from within is a gracefully delicate beholding of myself as a woman connecting to her innermost and honouring that connection above all else.

  230. Now that is going with the flow! A great example of what happens if we act on an impulse – things move very quickly and smoothly and there’s an amazing flow to life that’s almost like it can’t be stopped. It’s like we jump on a boat in a river and it takes us where we need to go, very different to when we try and dig the river ourselves and try and fill it with water before we try to put our boat in and try and get where we want to go. One is the rhythm of life un-interrupted, and one is us interfering or putting our stamp on the rhythm of life.

  231. Thanks Brigette – this is just gorgeous to read the joy and ease at which you moved. I am moving home in a month – and reading this inspires the simplicity that can come with moving homes.

    1. That is great HM, and many people find moving house to be one of the most stressful things but it doesn’t have to be that way. Brigette’s blog is supportive for anyone to read, some of the amazing points she’s shared are supportive for other areas of life too. The amazing benefits from living the Ageless Wisdom are absolutely incredible.

  232. Well it shows there is another way! It’s one of the top stressful things to do move house!

    1. Yes, one of my relatives had a saying ‘moving twice equals being burnt down once’. He was exaggerating and obviously describing a different reality to Brigette.

  233. Every box packed with attention and love is like a gift when you open it in your new house. What a gorgeous testimony of how effortless a move and on a bigger scale life can be. We are so cared for and all we have to do is surrender and the rhythm of the universe takes over.

  234. If we walk in a space between complications we are free to move with ease. It is when we pull the complications towards us that the dramas take over. Some people love the drama as they are identified by this and it is a great distraction from feeling what is truly going on.

    1. Love your comment, Kathleen. I could definitely feel the pull of complications hovering around the edges of the flow I was in, waiting to pounce like a hyena on its prey. One false move and I would have been the dog’s dinner 🙂

      1. Hi Brigette I totally understand we just have to continually keep dodging those spiderwebs for that is what complications are like . . . they are are like getting entangled in a spiderweb. The greater the complication is the thicker and stickier the web.

  235. How lovely Brigette. What a gorgeous flow life has when we are aligned to our Soul.

  236. Since coming across Universal Medicine and understanding energetic responsibility, I now clean a house when I leave with the most loving imprint that I can. I clean it as if I am cleaning for me to move in, to support the next people in their new home. I tell you, I never cleaned like that before and it feels amazing. To clean in a way that supports my body (resting when needed, not going into drive) and supports the next people moving in. Truly divine.

    1. Truly divine, Sarah. I too cleaned the mews house we were vacating ‘..as if I am cleaning for me to move in, to support the next people in their new home.’ The deep joy I felt in doing so was brotherhood personified.

  237. It is amazing to feel, how much we are cared for and how immensely supported we are. We simply have to allow it. No control, no agenda but commitment to love and you give hierachy full access to your life.

    1. Beautiful Stefanie, it is super simple isn’t it? We just have to get ourselves out of the way and allow the support from the Hierarchy to come flooding in and we are then more able to be of service to humanity.

    2. And The Hierarchy are then behind and with one’s every move, no matter how small or seemingly trivial or mundane – and not just when moving house.

    3. Certainly the greatest gift of all, Stefanie, giving Hierarchy full access to our lives. Expanding the moments exponentially until complete and full access becomes our way of life and the gift given and received becomes the unremitting joy of life itself.

  238. What a precious confirmation it is unpacking stuff that was packed with love and dedication. You are actually showering yourself with love whilst doing it, as you are already imprinting the future.

    1. A precious gift, that is what it can be every day with you and all things we put away to return to use again.

      1. Great reminder, Vanessa, to not limit the love to packing and unpacking but to do with, as you say, ‘..all things we put away to return to use again.’ Imagine – a house full of cupboards bursting with love! Our new norm.

    2. It surely is Steffie, it is like living life to the best of our ability with as much love we can, to return to in our next life, our next incarnation. What we will be born into then will be of our own making and level of love we were living in the past life. As you say we only can make that future love shower ourselves by the imprint we leave today.

  239. How great to appreciate that the way you and your son were, staying connected, directly affected the way the whole move went. We often underestimate the power of reflection and how simply life can flow.

  240. I’m sure with they way that unfolded Brigette that it hasn’t stopped there. This must be a house that is there to support you and your son for what else you can bring to everyone else. What I love is how easy and flowing it all was. When things are simple it allows for the next to be delivered, complication just interferes and blocks that.

    1. It certainly hasn’t stopped there, Natalie. I am daily in awe and appreciation of how supported and held my son and I are and the little and big ways in which this support manifests itself. The opportunities we are being presented with to share with those around us are plentiful – it is a constant evolvement and opening of hearts.

  241. How awesome to complete your residency at such a high standard, and offer that quality as a foundation for the new family moving in.

    1. Our footprints leave marks. Imagine everyone would live with that integre responsibility by guaranteeing that the best possible quality of energy is left behind?!

  242. It’s amazing what gets delivered when we get ourselves and our pictures out of the way.

  243. Life can be very simple if we allow it to be. We can also make life very complicated.

  244. A beautiful blog Brigette, and a great reminder to go with what we know is true.

  245. It’s an amazing experience you have had Brigette, as a shift of home often comes with a lot of stress and we tend to disregard our bodies also, placing enormous pressure on ourselves. In your situation it was all already planned and flowed to you, with the larger and final details taken care of.

  246. What a beautiful move, Brigette. I can feel your joy, surprise and delight at it all unfolding in the way that it did. You show what can happen we open up and allow life to unfold with no pictures, ideals or beliefs on how things should be.

  247. Moving has been proven to be one of the most stressful thing humans can do in their life – but not in the way you describe and I get the feeling it was because from the first move you were listening to your feeling and not to a picture or expectation or pressure or trying and so life could flow around you rather than being fought against.

    1. Pictures and expectations are shackles that keep us within our own limited imagination, letting go of them opens the way to live in and with the harmony of the Universe.

      1. For sure, Rebecca and Jonathan. The shackles we put in place stunt the flow that is otherwise there for us to access in all its magnificence and simplicity. Shackles are to harmony what oil is to water, forever keeping the opportunity of true brotherhood at bay.

      2. I agree – whilst life may not live up to our ideas and pictures, we cannot imagine the depth of quality that life can hold.

  248. I found that when I try to plan things from my head things get complicated but when I just go with what is there in the moment everything falls into place and it turns out I do not have to worry about anything.

  249. This is very beautiful. You couldn’t have planned this even if you had tried. The Way of the Universe flows very differently from our planning/hoping human mind. There’s no contest. If we’ve had enough of efforting and trying, perhaps it’s time for us to learn to give ourselves over to it.

    1. That’s so spot on, Fumiyo because, from the moment I opened the property pages I was aware of an alignment beginning to take place; I had an inner understanding that there was no thinking or planning required and that it would be futile to even attempt to try to steer things in a certain direction as the vibration I was aligning to would be guiding and supporting me throughout.

  250. Moving house is a bit like pass-ing-over we need to clear out all our old wears lovingly so then we reincarnate clean and invigorated for our next life.

    1. Wow, Greg, what a superb analogy! I guess you could say that this house move has been a post pass-ing over exercise for me in that I cleared out a huge amount of old wears very lovingly throughout the year that we lived in the mews house. Being a mews house it was very small, cozy and encouraging of letting things go….. I have certainly felt invigorated and clean (clear) with this house move which for all intents and purposes, is feeling quite like my ‘next life’!

      1. Yes Brigette, our bodies could be understood as an analogy of our accommodation and whenever we understand decluttering and refurbishing it has a carry-over affect in our lives.

  251. How much easier and more joyful is it to let things unfold rather than try to control life and face one struggle after another? Thanks, Brigette, for telling this lovely story as a reminder of how powerful it can be when we let go and simply open up to what is next.

  252. What a great example of keeping life very simple by letting the process naturally unfold from our body and not the desires and complications of our mind.

  253. WOW! Feeling the flow and support with this is really lovely and pretty amazing. I can really feel how you were impulsed with this no expectations no pictures but open to going with the flow. This is so inspiring ✨

  254. Having just moved house ourselves I can relate to much of what you’ve written. And it has reminded me the responsibility we have to do everything with purpose (and love), even if it’s packing a box.

    1. Packing box after box with purpose and love felt very alien to me in the beginning, Nick, my mind trying to trick me into believing that it’s just a boring old box I was packing however, after about the second box the feeling of loving completion was so powerful and profound that packing those boxes took on the same meaning as if I was packing boxes of pure gold – which I was of course 🙂

Carrying this loving and purpose-full responsibility over into everything we do allows for the magic to unfold.

  255. I do love those moments where everything flows and it feels like I am being supported from all around. And being aware that they can and do happen and that how I live determines this or not makes life amazing.

  256. Generally, moving home is considered just shy of ‘divorce’ and ‘death’ on the major stress factors in life. Your blog speaks volumes to the contrary – showing when there is a connection to our soulful way of being we move (house and ourselves!) in light of that relationship, and life flows.

  257. A beautiful example of what unfolds when the next move is one based on truth and supported by your living way; in your case The Way of The Livingness. It has me inspired and looking forward to my next move, whenever and wherever that may be.

  258. A gorgeous and inspiring blog, and very timely…. when we are choosing to live Soulfully, we are living purposefully, and everything just flows and simply happens in an ordered and harmonious way, which is the way of the Soul.

  259. A gorgeous blog Brigette, Thankyou for sharing about your move, often a very stressful time. The joy you felt is palpable. Having no expectations, such a great marker, so then there’s no room for disappointment, just an acceptance as to how things unfold.

  260. I remember the psychiatrist I was seeing years ago telling me that moving house was considered to be one of the big stresses of life, along side death and divorce however from reading this blog you have turned that statement upside down.

  261. Moving is not on the list of the most stressful life-changing events, But, it is for a short-term list, at the top! How much of this stress is our doing when moving? I have had many of them over the years; I and glad that’s finished moves. As you have said, that choosing to become a student of The Way of the Livingness has allowed stresses to become a thing, in the past. Life unfolds when we get our self out of the way.

  262. Brigette I absolutely love that you treated the cleaning of your old place with the same care of your new, leaving such a gift for the next people to move in with. How often do we have to clear a new place and re-imprint it because the energy left behind is not all it could be.

    1. Absolutely, Kevin. Not only did I clean the old place with the intention of leaving a clean home and clear imprint for the next family, but I did so with the intention of reflection as well so that if they so choose, they can feel the beholding that is there for them to embrace or not.

  263. Maybe not as often as I a should I stop and appreciate how supported I actually am and the more I take the true path the more I am able to be supported and if I do get things not going my way I do have to honestly look at why?

  264. What I read, but from my own experience, it is such a joy to leave the hose you lived in with a quality you would like to find your new house in too. So the next occupant will be blessed with this love and clarity a house should give.

  265. When we allow ourselves to go with the flow that is present, everything goes with ease and becomes a joy.

  266. Congratulations Brigette in your unfolding to your new home. It is so very true, let go of an agenda to be open to what is on offer and we experience joy. Attach ourselves to a situation or an outcome and we become serious, controlling and stressed! Beautiful example when we get ourselves out of the way and allow what is there for us to come effortlessly into our life.

  267. It feels so complete when we leave behind a beautiful and loving imprint for the following person or people after us. Recently my husband and I bought a new car and decided to sell our old car privately. We spent a small amount of money and I cleaned the car from top to bottom. It felt great. All we have to do now is let go of it and sell it in a way that supports us and welcomes a new owner for it.

  268. I love this unfolding, one moment to the next and no pictures of what it should look or be like.

  269. Great blog Brigette, you make something that can be stressful look simple, joyful and fun. It is incredible how you have managed to move with flow and simplicity. Moving house can be a great opportunity to clear, simplify and reimprint our space. The way you have done this is inspiring and moving with the Ageless Wisdom sounds super supportive. When it is time for us to move, I will definitely be re-reading your blog.

  270. Things don’t need to be stressful and hard, but when they don’t flow don’t give up or get angry just read again what’s being communicated to you. It’s all a gift for you to unpack.

    1. Yes when something unexpected happens do we just see it as unexpected or do we react to it and judge it as something negative? If we are open to observing and learning from life then events take on a different perspective.

    2. Sometimes I am rushing to get somewhere and hit every.single.red traffic light on my way there. Meltdown potential? yes Communication to stop the track I am running on? Most definitely. When I read it then all is calm and I stop rushing that flow returns.

  271. This is a beautiful example that confirms for us all that everything is placed to best support us if we simply say yes to what truly evolves us and allow ourselves to move with what is impulsed from our innermost. We are given it all but what we do with it, or if we even access it, depends entirely on us.

    1. We are given it all, Liane, and it certainly is entirely up to us whether we choose to access it or not. During the move I could feel, lurking around the edges of my movements, the pull of moving away from what was impulsing from my innermost whether it was comments from colleagues about why on earth would I be putting my son and myself through another move or financial concerns that tried to creep in. Even every moment within a moment is a choice to say yes or not.

  272. ‘Because this move was not something I felt I had consciously decided on and planned – rather, it unfolded before me – there was no agenda and I had no expectation of how it was going to or should look.’ – it was very beautiful to feel the joy and flow in your moving experience, Brigette – so very different to the enormous stress and drain that is so often associated with moving. You really confirm how much support is all around us when we surrender and allow things to unfold rather than trying to control anything.

    1. The stress and drain that is so often associated with moving was confirmed to me over and over again in the build up to our move by every person I mentioned it to, Alison. There is such a consciousness that abounds where moving is concerned – time to rain on that parade and shine some light onto those murky ideals and beliefs that have been taken on by everyone and their dog and turned moving into a monster!

  273. I smiled reading this blog as I felt the flow and natural rhythm of your move and how it unfolded before you at the time and exactly as needed. It’s a great reminder to honour and feel what is required when and to understand that the body is an awesome guide in how we are and can be with all we meet.

  274. In reading this article I can feel the moments where you let go of how you wanted the move to be or go and stayed with supporting your body rather than pushing it past the limits. Very inspiring.

  275. What you show Bridgette is that when we are in the flow of life and don’t try and complicate things with self-doubt magic happens, and what can be a stressful and long process such as moving home can not only be simple and easy but a lot of fun too.

  276. People look to the extremes to see miracles, but to me what is shared here is the experience of a true miracle. The willingness to surrender to our deeper feelings and allow them to guide us is where miracles originate.

    1. Miracles happen every day if we are but willing to have our eyes open and receive them.

    2. Miracles happen when we allow the magic of God into our lives. Miracles we call miracles because we do only experience them rarely. But when connected to the forever unfolding love of God, is will become our normal way of living.

    3. Absolutely, Leigh. The seas didn’t part but the choice to flow with the ocean of life allowed me to raise my sails and set my course in such a harmonious way that I needed no navigational charts to guide me; my connection to my innermost was the only cargo I had onboard and the winds were very favourable.

      1. The settlednes in where your innermost is taking you without an ounce of question is felt in this comment. Felt so deeply that it has confirmed for me to surrender ever more deeply to my innermost and its offerings.

      2. I have returned to my comment above a number of times as I felt the beholding of something quite profound that remained just out of grasp. Your offering of expression, Leigh, has taken me straight to the (inner) heart of it and has allowed me to honour, with all that I am, ‘…the settledness in where my innermost is taking me….’ As I read your loving words, I could feel my connection with my innermost being firmly anchored in place with the love and grace of the divine. It’s awe-some to meet you here.

    1. Love your sharing Carolien, and a gorgeous reminder that we do not need to plan and plan way ahead, but to stay present in the moment, open and surrendered, going with the flow ( letting go of control), and as you say; the best things in your life simply happened.

      1. yes I agree, and it is good to remind myself now and then. It is easy to get caught in ‘chasing’ what is ahead of us, not staying present in the moment, making up plans, images, stories or worries for what lies ahead. This feels like a leaving of myself towards the future. yet if I stay with me, connected and present in the moment, I find that the future simply comes towards me.

  277. Interesting to note some jealously arose reading this today as my moving choices are not so simple and clear at the moment. So good for me to feel (although a bit ouchy) and to realise where I am at and to feel how they can be.

    1. Loving your raw honesty here, Sarah. I know you know this but there is absolutely no jealousy needed here as this energy is accessible to all – change your movements, choose to align and off you go. Enjoy your move!

    2. As I read this comment, I can clearly feel what my movements are ahead of me, but what this is exposing is my movements that I have chosen up to now and are asking me to no longer allow them to be with me as I move what the future is bringing.

  278. We are about to move home and I love the simplicity and care you have bought to this process, something that we’re certainly inspired by.

  279. “Staying connected and maintaining a sense of playful awe throughout removed all the stress that is normally associated with a move..” – humour, playfulness and fun are key words in revealing how one is with what is happening.

      1. … and every moment completes and makes room for what is to follow.’ This I experienced in abundance durning my move, gabrieleconrad. The completion of every moment initially felt stupendous in its simplicity and left me free to truly feel how awesome it is to have room for the future to come towards me.

  280. When things unfold in a divinely magical way, you are left with a loving and expansive feeling, even if the outcome is not as you had expected.

  281. Brigette – what a great example of how smoothly things can go when we simply surrender to the process!

    1. Too true, Henrietta. Surrendering to the process has been one of the easiest thing I’ve ever done as at every stage of the move I could palpably feel the love and support coming through from The Hierarchy and why oh why would I ever want to pull away from such wondrous companionship??

  282. Very cool to feel how moving doesn’t have to be the stressful experience we so often anticipate it will be, and goes to show how fun and light life is when we don’t judge it, our ourselves, against pictures of how we think it ‘should’ be.

  283. And what a joy-filled voice it is Brigette. It is stunning what can unfold when we allow and accept rather than control.

  284. Wow, I can really feel how to live in a movement that supports and holds us when we are aligned to it. It’s always there to connect to should we seek struggle or complication and choose to return. It feels like a beautiful bed that’s been made with love, the sheets ironed and smoothed flat, the holding of us as we surrender.

    1. Gorgeously put Karin: ‘It feels like a beautiful bed that’s been made with love, the sheets ironed and smoothed flat, the holding of us as we surrender.’ Brought a glowing smile to my face as I could feel the magic of my move all over again.

  285. Brigette, it is very gorgeous to read about the flow that happens in our lives when we surrender and choose soulful energy, rather than trying to control and make things happen, thank you for sharing.

    1. Wow Rebecca, how timely. Just feeling the possibility that we as students of The Way Of The Livingness start (continue) a movement of leaving clean and cleared houses in our wake one house at a time….what an imprint we will be leaving behind!

  286. It is indeed extraordinarily simple and beautiful how things can and do unfold so harmoniously when we choose true movement with every move we make. This is a wonderful confirmation of the choices you have made Brigitte, that have so clearly supported you with your house move.

    1. Ah but this is when we find it difficult to let go of the old way and embrace the new and so we try to bring the old with us into the new and then wonder why we carry so much tension!

      1. It is also a great way to view everything in our life we have held onto as we pack. And, an opportunity to shed what is no longer needed.

      2. And/or we are moving house for entirely the wrong purpose in the first place – an attempt to fix the internal by changing the external?

      3. Ha! That old chestnut. Attempting ‘to fix the internal by changing the external.’ How often we fall for that trap without even realising. If it were that simple life would just be a bowl of cherries. Only wait, life IS a bowl of cherries….a bowl of cherries clinging on for dear life as the teacups keep spinning round and round, faster and faster and the music keeps blaring and STILL we can’t drown out the feeling that something is missing, that there is an emptiness that nothing will fill even as we spit the cherry pip out and pop another cherry into our salivating mouth in the hope that this cherry, THIS cherry will be the cherry of all cherries…….

      4. Brigette – I’ve never really liked cherries (that isn’t to say that I don’t have plenty of ‘temptation-equals!’) but with this graphic and energetically real description of them I feel almost revolted by them! Good work

    2. I have had three children and each time, when I was about 7 months pregnant, we moved overseas and my husband started a new job – three of the most ‘stressful things’ that we can encounter. However, I don’t remember it being as bad as everyone else felt it would be, I was pretty tired, which is not surprising. Whilst I can’t say I experienced the same level of joy and flow that Brigette shares here, I feel how we experience life is very much a reflection of how open we are to embracing what is next and our willingness to accept the support that is there for us.

    3. This blog proves that it doesn’t have to be stressful but instead be a joyful experience. Imagine if we all did everything with the same level of love, care, flow, simplicity and trust. Our world would look and feel very different.

      1. There are so many pictures, ideals, ambitions, recognition-seekers and other toxic ingredients that infect our decisions and choices around choosing a house. If the initial impulse hasn’t been based on a commitment to truly supporting, then it follows that the rest of the process is going to feel like a fight – which is pretty much what it is; a fight against the true choice, whether that be a modern bungalow or a flat in a high-rise. No pictures – very hard when our house can dangerously give us so much identity.

    4. It’s interesting how we perceive things, make things or set ourselves up many times in life. I have heard this lots of times that moving house is one of the most stressful things ever. However, Brigette has just completely blown this out of the window and turned it on its head ✨

      1. If we pre-paint the pictures then it is more than likely it will turn out that way. These accepted norms are laced into every aspect of society and our lives…so it’s very powerful to hear an expression of another way.

    5. if we take on the belief that that is what it will be, a stressful thing, then it will be that. There are many things we preconceive in this life, accept as a given, where they do not have to be at all if we learn to come from a connection within ourselves instead of what the outer dictates.

      1. To do this we need to value our innate truth more than we value what it may all look like on the external. We are so pre-conditioned to live through, from and via the external, that it takes commitment to re-connect to our own and true wisdom.

  287. It feels you were lovingly supported all the way and like you say this is becoming your new norm. In every statistic you will find that moving house is one of the most stressfull periods in life, well you gave us a report of the opposite, not as a fairy tale but in real life, an inspiration for all who were involved and for all reading your blog.

  288. Great reading your blog, life can be so simple when we just let it go and trust what we feel.

    1. I agree Benkt, this a beautiful example of how we can live this way with the Ageless Wisdom in our every day and when we have a big event like moving house it is then a breeze and ease all the way.
