A Job asking for Applicants to live Responsibility

What if we were all given one job to do on earth and we were to all work for the same company?

Can you begin to imagine what the job description would look like?

What would the responsibilities look like?

How could one business employ 7.5 billion people?

Who would want to be the CEO?

There is one person who would not bat an eyelid at being CEO of a company employing 7.5 billion people. Our CEO would be God. Let’s face it, he is probably the only person who would willingly and lovingly take the job. He had a hand in creating the earth and knows all about the Universe, so running a company employing the world’s population would be something fitting for his expertise and experience

As for a one job description fits all approach — what would that look like?

That our sole responsibility is to reflect to each other the light and love of God.

So, if we look at the world’s population currently and then look at the opportunity to be responsible that God has given us, are any of us employable? Do we even know what it means to reflect the light and love of God to each other?

God takes a very simple approach to anything he does, which includes running a large business. He is simply asking us to be loving with ourselves and each other, for you cannot reflect love to another if you are not living it yourself first. He also presents that the love in which we can hold ourselves and others is forever deepening, which means we can never stop learning to be more loving.

There are some people living now who shine brightly the love and light of God on earth and it is like they have always known that they are working for God. They seem to be steady in their commitment and dedication to God and consistent in their energetic responsibility and energetic integrity as they go about living very normal lives. This means that these human beings haven’t forgotten that everything they express, act and think, carries an energetic quality, one that either harms or heals, and therefore they work tirelessly at bringing healing to the world. Their lives are about service, purpose and energetic responsibility, which they live freely, joyously and lovingly.

However, many of us are not consistently living this level of energetic responsibility on earth even though we know that we can be, because deep down we know that we work for God as well. However, God’s love for us is unwavering; he is the most loving CEO any of us have ever encountered. He asks us to let everyone see our grace and beauty all the time, as that is what he sees. His reflection to us all is tireless in its purpose, quality, love, commitment, and responsibility. You never see him slacking off, selling himself out, harming others or choosing to check out or distract himself from work. Settling for a comfortable job is not on his radar and it cannot be what any of his employees want or seek.

So, God has the potential to have 7.5 billion people living in all corners of the globe reflecting the light and love that he is: in systems, practices, work places, countries, religion, neighbourhoods, schools, politics, industries, professions and relationships. His company is the only company that will see energetic responsibility lived on earth by all.

Energetic Responsibility is a way of life lived by all that brings healing to our planet, its people and the universe. Consider what earth would be like if 7.5 billion people were living and working with nothing but the light and love of God, and constantly expanding this love?

Inspired by the life of Serge Benhayon who has been teaching about energetic responsibility since 1999.

  1. Thanks Sally – this is a delight to read and appreciate the simple purpose of what we bring in our every day – energetic responsibility. With this focus, life, work and relationships are never dull.

  2. i like this way of looking at humanity. It unifies us into one organisation, Brotherhood, where every single one of us is equally important and responsible for the success of the whole. Even God as the CEO is no more than anyone else. Equality is the core value of the most ancient of organisations Brotherhood.

    1. Beautifully said Lucy, every cell in my body know this is our return; to live & serve together with a one common purpose.

  3. Could it be that all then work for the Love of working in the job we Love because we are all equal so no one needs to be paid more or less than anyone else, work would feel different? When God is CEO would it be Grace-Co-creation-Equality-Oneness, which provides the platform or structure that assures an equalness so we feel the power of the pull to serve our equal Brothers and God for nothing less than love?

    1. Greg I like your new take on “CEO” – Co-Creation – Equality – Oneness – now that’s a workplace we can live inside ourselves everyday and bring into every part of life!

  4. A very valuable read this morning Sally, thank you. It is still easy for me to get distracted so the inspiration of this blog reminds me that God doesn’t get distracted and steadiness is something that not only supports me but others by reflection.

  5. ‘Energetic Responsibility is a way of life lived by all that brings healing to our planet, its people and the universe.’ This is carried by each and every one of us, how we choose to live what’s been offered to us, is entirely up to us, but no one person is left out of being part of the whole.

  6. Understanding that working is much more than merely turning up and getting the practicals done…otherwise we are hugely reducing what we naturally bring to everyone which means the world misses out.

    1. Indeed Brendan function is a worldwide killer that keeps us superficially cruising, whilst breathing no joy or evolution to the way we move and express.

  7. I really enjoy working but holding a belief that I wasn’t enough has been effecting my relationship with work. I stopped and asked myself this morning “Who says I can’t enjoy being at work?” Just because many I work with don’t doesn’t mean I should hide what I am feeling which is that I really enjoy work and I feel amazing when I support myself to feel the love and light within me and taking that to work rather than a mind full of issues and emotions. Nor does that mean that others can’t enjoy work if they see another enjoying it, thats how I was inspired afterall through Serge Benhayon and many others. There is much joy in working.

  8. Indeed what would it look like if everyone was to live a life of reflecting God’s love first? Get yourself out of the way, your individual needs and hurts and trust if you live like that, that you will be taken of. I can feel the anxiety of having to let go of the patterns that keep me feeling secure and individual, but chose to let them go, not go into them anymore. Scary yes a bit a first, but this feels so much better in the end.

  9. The thing with responsibility is that we can’t escape it, only delay it, for life will teach us whether we’re being responsible or not…

  10. Thank you Sally, a beautiful blog to read. I loved the succinct, simple, true description of what our jobs will look like;
“That our sole responsibility is to reflect to each other the light and love of God”.

  11. “Energetic Responsibility is a way of life lived by all that brings healing to our planet, its people and the universe.” This is true as it is only when we understand the vastness of how much of a part we play in the harmony of the universe that we can make life about the all and not just the comforts of the self.

  12. “…our sole responsibility is to reflect to each other the light and love of God.” how our lives could change in many areas, if not all areas, if we reconnected to this and accepted the simplicity of this responsibility.

  13. Thankyou Sally, this is a joy to read again. What we are being asked to live each day is truly beautiful, for ourselves and for the all we are part of “He is simply asking us to be loving with ourselves and each other, for you cannot reflect love to another if you are not living it yourself first.” Most of the ideas out there about serving God come with self sacrifice, but that’s not it at all, it’s in the love we live for ourselves and begin expanding to then include the all.

  14. And if we look at our own work place, it is actually quite revealing where we are at as a race of being. Even though we work for the same company, there’s politics, backstabbing, abuse, bitching, gossiping etc. etc. that we see so often and probably accepted as ‘normal’. And while we insist on better working condition, holiday entitlement and pay rise etc., I am not sure if we are giving as much as we are asking for. We take our employer for granted to provide us everything while we may slack off or just are interested in self promotion and self gain. Rather reflective of a relationship we are having with God, it seems.

  15. Energetic responsibility is the key for humanity to live as one in true brotherhood, and the more we offer this true reflection to others the more trust is built in them to live in a way that is aligned to the heart and free from the shackles of living from the mind.

  16. Love is a word that has many different interpretations and can currently mean different things to different people, according to whatever beliefs or ideals may be being held, but in my experience from deep inside of us we do all know the quality of love, a vibration that is known and can be sensed without ideals or images. Re-connecting back to the love that we know from within and making that our source of expression will help us all to truly live and work together as a one humanity, one family, one co-operation.

  17. Some have said that they work for God and are the “chosen ones”. I am glad that this is not how God truly works for we are all His “chosen ones”.

  18. The truth is in the much bigger picture we are all working for the same company … God/the Divine/the Universe only most of us are resisting it. ‘What if we were all given one job to do on earth and we were to all work for the same company?’ If we truly worked and lived together in harmony knowing that all we do affects another so it is our responsibility in how we live wow the difference we would see in the world would be incredible. You have given me something to deeply ponder on with this and I know I do not live this to the all I can .. to reflect the love and light of God. Also this is so true ‘you cannot reflect love to another if you are not living it yourself first.’

  19. And when we are born could that be our application for the job to live here on earth and master living as a human being so we can ascend to something greater – all under the grace of God as our CEO?

  20. I love this very very beautiful question Sally: ‘Consider what earth would be like if 7.5 billion people were living and working with nothing but the light and love of God, and constantly expanding this love?’
    I just love it.

  21. The definition of love expands for me every day. When self-doubt enters in asking is this really love, I will reflect my movements and understand it is a process to have this understanding felt in the body. I acknowledge the self-doubt and how it has made me feel and appreciate a deeper awareness. I keep living and expanding what I have last lived.

  22. God is the most gracious, forgiving, non-judgmental and loving CEO we could have, since he hasn’t fired us all yet for being completely reckless and irresponsible.

    1. The choice to stop and ponder on this factor is what humanity is currently not wanting to listen to – hence our current levels of disregard worldwide.

  23. There could be no better CEO than God himself! I love this analogy. His agenda would look completely different from the ones we currently subscribe to and invest in. Where do I sign my contract?

  24. There would be no space for office politics if energetic responsibility was lived. Profit over people would cease to exist. So many industries would no longer be needed if we lived with a purpose to serve. Love the analogy Sally.

  25. Imagine going to work everyday knowing that our one responsibility was to reflect God to everyone that we met that day? Now that would put a spring in our step!

  26. “we can never stop learning to be more loving” This got me pondering on the endless expansion that love is – that God’s love is forever expanding as we all grow in love, and that greater love of God calls us to be that too…

    1. Exactly Rosanna, we are here to return to love, the love that we left, the love that we are and come from, and when we claim this for ourselves, we offer a reflection for another to choose that for themselves too.

  27. ‘That our sole responsibility is to reflect to each other the light and love of God’, what a timely reminder for me today.

  28. “That our sole responsibility is to reflect to each other the light and love of God.” Sounds like a pretty cool job description to me Sally and one we are all very well equipped to hold.
