A Job asking for Applicants to live Responsibility

What if we were all given one job to do on earth and we were to all work for the same company?

Can you begin to imagine what the job description would look like?

What would the responsibilities look like?

How could one business employ 7.5 billion people?

Who would want to be the CEO?

There is one person who would not bat an eyelid at being CEO of a company employing 7.5 billion people. Our CEO would be God. Let’s face it, he is probably the only person who would willingly and lovingly take the job. He had a hand in creating the earth and knows all about the Universe, so running a company employing the world’s population would be something fitting for his expertise and experience

As for a one job description fits all approach — what would that look like?

That our sole responsibility is to reflect to each other the light and love of God.

So, if we look at the world’s population currently and then look at the opportunity to be responsible that God has given us, are any of us employable? Do we even know what it means to reflect the light and love of God to each other?

God takes a very simple approach to anything he does, which includes running a large business. He is simply asking us to be loving with ourselves and each other, for you cannot reflect love to another if you are not living it yourself first. He also presents that the love in which we can hold ourselves and others is forever deepening, which means we can never stop learning to be more loving.

There are some people living now who shine brightly the love and light of God on earth and it is like they have always known that they are working for God. They seem to be steady in their commitment and dedication to God and consistent in their energetic responsibility and energetic integrity as they go about living very normal lives. This means that these human beings haven’t forgotten that everything they express, act and think, carries an energetic quality, one that either harms or heals, and therefore they work tirelessly at bringing healing to the world. Their lives are about service, purpose and energetic responsibility, which they live freely, joyously and lovingly.

However, many of us are not consistently living this level of energetic responsibility on earth even though we know that we can be, because deep down we know that we work for God as well. However, God’s love for us is unwavering; he is the most loving CEO any of us have ever encountered. He asks us to let everyone see our grace and beauty all the time, as that is what he sees. His reflection to us all is tireless in its purpose, quality, love, commitment, and responsibility. You never see him slacking off, selling himself out, harming others or choosing to check out or distract himself from work. Settling for a comfortable job is not on his radar and it cannot be what any of his employees want or seek.

So, God has the potential to have 7.5 billion people living in all corners of the globe reflecting the light and love that he is: in systems, practices, work places, countries, religion, neighbourhoods, schools, politics, industries, professions and relationships. His company is the only company that will see energetic responsibility lived on earth by all.

Energetic Responsibility is a way of life lived by all that brings healing to our planet, its people and the universe. Consider what earth would be like if 7.5 billion people were living and working with nothing but the light and love of God, and constantly expanding this love?

Inspired by the life of Serge Benhayon who has been teaching about energetic responsibility since 1999.

  1. “What if we were all given one job to do on earth and we were to all work for the same company?” When you ask this question Sally it gives me a lovely warm feeling. It is the feeling of unity, of us all working together for the same purpose. If we were to approach life in this way even though we are working in different companies the unity felt would be amazing.

  2. Do you know, reading this today has brought a new level of understanding about the gift those who live this level of dedication to our CEO bring into our lives. I am more aware of my blatant irresponsibility and have a choice to do something about it – I know that the love this CEO has for his company means I will be supported at every turn.

  3. Energetic responsibility is very simple but we create a lot of complication in our lives to distract ourselves from feeling and knowing that simple call to truth that we otherwise know within.

  4. ‘What if we were all given one job to do on earth and we were to all work for the same company?’ What if, as children we were prepared for this at school…? That we are here to work together, support each other and take care of each other, rather than the expected getting ahead of the game culture? School and the world of work would look entirely different. Imagine working for a boss whose only consideration was love, equality for all and well-being to the highest level?

    1. I can imagine going to a classroom everyday where this is the reflection of the teacher. How amazing is this gift offered to everyone? This is how I feel attending Serge Benhayon’s presentations – I simply feel held in a depth of grace that invites me to bring out all I am.

  5. I love to come back to this inspiring and delightful blog and be reminded; ‘That our sole responsibility is to reflect to each other the light and love of God’.

  6. “Consider what earth would be like if 7.5 billion people were living and working with nothing but the light and love of God, and constantly expanding this love?” Wow, I don’t think we’d recognise Earth.

  7. It is gorgeous to imagine a world where people took responsibility to the level of this, embodying and expressing a quality that is in honour of what is needed for the all

  8. If we approach each day with the attitude that there is always more to learn to be more loving how would that look like…. first and foremost it would be easier to respond rather than react to whatever is presented in each and every moment.

  9. What a beautiful scenerio that lived by all would allow the love to flourish expand and grow amazingly. .”Energetic Responsibility is a way of life lived by all that brings healing to our planet, its people and the universe.” who would resist this way of being if we truly stopped to be aware of this in our hearts.

  10. Thanks Sally for the reminder of the key to living energetic responsibility: it is in the simplicity. If life feels complicated, we aren’t working for God we are working for the ‘self recruitment department’, which is a different ceo entirely.

  11. “There are some people living now who shine brightly the love and light of God on earth and it is like they have always known that they are working for God. ” It is great that we have such beautiful role models, constantly reflecting and showing there is a true purpose and how to live in a way which is honouring of oneself and others.

  12. The responsibility of reflecting the light and love of God, for some the responsibility seems unobtainable, yet when we start one step at a time and choose to begin making self-loving choices, and build a consistency of living from love, it is not long before we start to reflect God’s light to the rest of humanity.

  13. Imagine if this responsibility was embraced within families and workplaces, we would see much harmony and order.

  14. There is always more love we can give to ourselves and therefore to others as God’s love is forever expanding and even when we find ourselves in challenging situations it is surrendering to the love that we are that deepens our connection to ourselves and to God.

  15. I love what you say Sally that God is simply asking us to be loving with ourselves and each other, for you cannot reflect love to another if you are not living it yourself first. The fact that we can never stop learning to be more loving, it is possible in our every moment to live loving ourselves. I have been experimenting how long it takes before a non-loving thought comes into my mind, and it is very exposing. We have a long road to travel to be living love in ourselves in every moment.

  16. In essence we are all the same, so it makes sense that there is the one purpose that unites us all, in the deepest sense of teamwork we can imagine.. brotherhood, based on equality where nobody loses or is left behind.

  17. The simplicity of living the vibration of God every day, then everything falls into place Wow what an amazing job we ultimately have!

  18. Written by a woman that knows what it is to work for God. I love what you have shared Sally. When I read this blog I am made aware of the true quality of the choices I make.

  19. The possibilities of having God as our boss are endless, when we actually accept he is and open up to that everything is taken care off, who we will meet, the timing in which to deliver. The more we work with God the more magical life will be. Business is worth nothing if there is no God in it.

  20. ‘Our sole responsibility is to reflect to each other the light and love of God.’ This takes responsibility to a whole new level, and changes it from a sense of burden to a joyous delight.

  21. The world is sold on function…as long as you get the job done you’re ok. But what of the quality in the way we get things done? What if quality represents much more than the mere function of what we do?

  22. I like that… nobody is unemployable. We all Can bring the work of God. There are so many ways to express this.

  23. Accepting that we work for God is a very joyful employment to be in. It makes everyday an opportunity to bring more of our divinity to everything that we do.

  24. This makes me think of all the jobs and positions I have gone for, already knowing I didn’t have the right credentials. Like a magician turning water into doves, or pulling a hare out of their hat, there is a hook that entices a bit of me to see if I can carry this trick off, pull the wool over their eyes and walk off with the ‘prize’. But this is so flawed on so many levels. It’s just a big game. For the job we are truly here to complete here on earth is to live with Love. That’s all that’s required. Anything less is always going to cause disharmony and chaos – for there’s no way we can ‘game’ God. Thank you Sally for this blog.

  25. ” Knowing that our sole responsibility is to reflect to each other the light and love of God.” What a simplicity and joy this responsibility brings to our lives. Amazing ,beautiful and something well worth claiming for ourselves and God as the divinity we are and can live.

  26. ‘…are any of us employable?’ Humm, as it stands not so many but what an amazing redefining of what our role is in life. Who would have thought that life could be so simple, that by reflecting love and light all the rest takes care of itself; we don’t have to go into problem solving and complication. That actually when I look at my life most of the complication is created by not being love or loving. I recognise a return to the simplicity of love is possible; and from this see how my life can be graceful – I can work with ease even when it presents as complicated, it is not the job but my joining in with others’ complications that creates the dis-ease but I can return to love and harmony.

  27. It’s so simple, yet we avoid it like it’s the most death defying disease there ever was. The answer to all our problems lies in our choices and our responsibility in those choices…that’s it.

  28. I am delighted to have God as my CEO, although once upon a time I would not have even considered that possibility. And he is the best CEO ever, in fact he doesn’t feel like ‘the boss’ in any way at all but a loving and supportive brother who I know walks alongside me in every moment; it’s never been God who has left me, it was always me who made the choice to leave him.

  29. A company where the CEO is all about love and everyone has a full time job, and a valuable part to play. Thanks for the reminder Sally that ‘our sole responsibility is to reflect to each other the light and love of God.’ We have quite a few role models leading the way.

  30. No matter where we stand in any business or organisation in life we have the opportunity to role model energetic responsibility and inspire others.

  31. The word work is one of those words that have been twisted and interpreted to suit our own needs. The fact that we define work as being between set hours gives this away.

  32. When one begins to connect with the fact that they are actually working directly for God, always, a feeling of purpose is ignited. As this is igniting more everyday in myself, each day opens in more space. There is this feeling of, lets get on with it, lets do this because it is here to be done right now. There is no room for “why should I do it, so and so should have’ as it is simply felt that it is needed and I am placed there to do it. For me, accepting my worth has supported this to open more in my life, as I know with out a doubt that if I am placed somewhere, and something needs to be attended to, then it is my ‘job’ to do it.

  33. If we were to actually live all the qualities that we put on a CV our lives would be totally amazing, and what we offer in the form of service would be out of this world. The reason we feel it’s necessary to put on a front and a good impression is because we know we are not living to our full potential. If we were living our full potential our CV would simply be a true reflection of what we already live.

    1. This is beautifully said, Rebecca. To have a CV backed up of what we already llive. I see another aspect in it. The CV can be a confirmation but also a point of appreciation of what we were not aware of what we are already living.

      1. This is very true Kerstin. The process I went through when re-writing my CV showed me how much I was not appreciating how much I do bring. It also showed me the areas that I am not truly claiming. It was great to do.

    2. That indeed would be an amazing CV. I feel that God would hire any one, as he knows each and everyone have all the qualities of reflecting His Love and Light him already in him. No job application procedure needed.

  34. As you say Sally, we all know that we have to present the light and love of God in this life. But some people obviously have drifted very very far away from this. We should question: why?
I can start and relate this very much with me, not wanting to do that for years, because I was angry with God because what happened with me in the past. I thought God left me. So many horrible things happened to me, which made me think: why did God allow this. In truth it was not God that left me – as he never does – it was me who chose to leave Him.

  35. I love that every person is fully equipped for the job, it is simply about expressing what is already there.

  36. This is a great marker and way to question ones actions, thoughts, movements and intentions in life… who am I working for right now? Am I working for God or am I working for self and the current aspect of divinity that thinks it’s individual? Working for God means working with and for the all, so the ‘self’ gets easily exposed.
