Truth – I Can Feel it in my Bones

by Sarah Davis, Goonellabah NSW

Recently, a young women said something to me that I felt to be true. I have shared this in a piece called ‘The Truth of Love – Equally for All’. As a result, I found myself reflecting on what it was like to feel truth.

I knew at the time that what this young woman shared with me was true, as I could feel it in my whole body; I felt it as a “yes, I know that”. There was a feeling akin to ‘relief’ in my body; of something brought to my awareness that I wasn’t even fully aware I had lost. Upon hearing the truth in her words, I felt more complete, whole, more connected to a sense of the depths of ‘me’.

For me this was one of those awesome ‘wow!’ moments, where a possibility had been presented to me which I felt instantly and deeply as a truth, and one, which is often the case, that started my head spinning – a sign that old beliefs were being shaken.

I was left silent and in contemplation – it was a beautiful moment that I can still feel ‘living’ within me.

When I reflect on this moment I feel a confirmation that truth connects us more deeply to who we already are, which for me is akin to a ‘deep knowing’ that is always there: any truth, when felt, does this. From this I realise that the only ‘thing’ I am ever truly missing is my connection to this knowing, and nothing more. Truth then acts as a bridge or connector of sorts to the quality – this knowing – that is within me.

So what I felt as ‘relief’ was actually a deeper connection to who I already truly am – my whole body felt this as an expansion – like the ‘walls’ of my body spread out and touched everything around me. I felt beyond a doubt that what had been spoken by the young woman was true, I had already heard and knew what she was saying ‘intellectually’, but it was at this point that I actually felt it. Truth has this effect because it speaks to the part of us which ‘knows all’: when we are spoken to with truth, it is an opportunity for us to connect with and feel this part, this knowing – our ‘inner-most’ – more deeply; for it to come into our awareness. It is our body which instantly delivers this knowing, giving weight to that old adage ‘I can feel it in my bones’. That is, we know truth because it lives within us. When we feel truth, we are really feeling ourselves.

Truth for me always brings this feeling of connection if I allow myself to feel this simple and very natural state of being (for much can get in the way – the ‘struggles’ of the human being). This connection has been unfolding for me. Initially it felt like being reunited with an awesome old friend whom I’d lost contact with a long time ago and forgotten about – but remembered instantly when I heard (saw) them again. The feeling was one of celebration that we had re-connected with each other; life felt more complete now we were ‘back together’, we were more powerful together than apart, and I didn’t want to lose ‘what we had’. I now find myself deepening my understanding and feeling of truth, with no need to ‘hold on’ or ‘keep it’, or have a fear of losing it – for how can I lose something that is living within me?!

I have come to feel this more deeply, that truth lives within me and can never be lost or truly forgotten – and that my awareness of and connection to truth only ever depends on the choices I make in each moment.

Through Serge Benhayon’s presentations on ‘The Livingness’ and the many practitioners who are experts in their various healing modalities, I have experienced tremendous support in the form of practical tools, healing, and a deep sense of being loved and held in equalness. This has given me the opportunity to practice making choices which support my connection to me, my knowing, my ‘inner-most’: previously I had been living in a way that was not honouring of my body or my true feelings. Having the simple and practical tools to reconnect to who I naturally am has been so absolutely wonderful and brings me a tremendous sense of freedom to truly know that I am responsible for the quality of my life.

On a daily basis therefore, through the choices I am making to listen to my body – literally to ‘feel it in my bones’ – I am experiencing the truth that lives within me. This is a constant unfolding with an immeasurable depth of love, joy and glory.

The gift of being alive is that we all – equally – have the freedom to choose to re-connect to these depths within us – and as truth holds the same quality of that which lives within us, it is an invitation, a ‘call’ to feel all that we truly are.

  1. The truth within isn’t something that I have fully been appreciating. Like yourself Sarah I’ve had a reconnection to it and now that it is back it’s my normal, but looking back to where I used to be til now there is a lot to appreciate and cherish about the truth I can now feel and express.

  2. This blog seems to me to be written as a confirmation of what we know to be true. We can get something ‘intellectually’ but it’s when we actually feel it in our bodies that the change occurs, it’s a resonation deep in our bodies, this is very healing as it allows us to become more aware of our surroundings like a wakeup call to what is really going on in life.

  3. More and more I am sensing what is true and what is not. When out in the world and without judgement, it is clear to see how inauthentic much of life and what is offered is – there is a lot of pretense and falseness out there. And when you meet the real deal, it’s a joy. Even more important that we embody truth in our own movements as a reflection for everyone else.

    1. Much of what is offered in life is inauthentic, so when we are offered truth it can be welcomed with open arms.

  4. I have found that our bodies respond to a truth in a way that our minds cannot, feeling the truth of something happens at a particle level in our bodies it’s a though they realign themselves which gives us that feeling of expansion.

  5. There is something about the way we register truth, and I can feel how I often shortchange myself in its process, or actually sabotage, instead of letting it be received in full, by reducing it a mental ‘I know this’. And I really get what you are sharing here, how our reconnection to the body is the key, and we learn to move in such a way that its acuity be given a chance for it to be honoured as the marker of truth that it truly is above and all anything else.

  6. Appreciation is some thing that is always going to support us and when coming from another is a simple conformation that will deepen how we appreciate ourselves in all we do to the bone.

  7. I personally feel there is a vast difference from what we know on an intellectual basis to what we feel in our bodies. To me when I feel the truth in my body a healing can take place which allows for a deepening and a greater natural understanding of myself and other people.

    1. Yes it is Andrew, a whole body experience and beautiful to know truth from deep within ourselves. But sometimes, when in too much motion and disconnected from ourselves we shut down this quality.

  8. It’s always there truth, within us, ready and waiting and its not to be held onto, it’s there, and as we allow ourselves to move in connection with ourselves, and all around us, we have a space to more deeply feel our truth.

  9. “That is, we know truth because it lives within us. When we feel truth, we are really feeling ourselves.” Wow Sarah your words very much nailed it for me – your are simply telling the truth. Now the only question is – do we really want to listen what our body is telling us?????

  10. “we know truth because it lives within us.” This shows us that we have lived this truth before and are coming back to the truth of who we are.

  11. When I hear or speak a truth, I can feel an openness, an expansion and a lightness in my body but if I was to speak a lie my whole body would feel so very different. It is as if parts of it begin to shut down, contract and my breath doesn’t flow smoothly anymore. It is as if something foreign has invaded my body. This goes to show how truth is so naturally part of who we are and anything less is registered immediately, thus the importance of being aware of the messages our body is imparting to us in every single moment.

  12. When we connect to truth we know, we can feel it to our bones. When I accept truth there is an expansion which feels so freeing from the blinkered way I had been living.

  13. I love how you make us aware of the wisdom of the saying I can feel it in my bones. Bones are our foundation and when we allow truth to be our foundation, our body will support us with healthy and strong bones to build on and the other side is as I have experienced when we choose to disregard or even neglect the truth we get presented by our body, our bones can get brittle and fragile. The beauty is we can reverse the illness by making the choice to live the truth which we can feel in our bones.

  14. You share here is something quite pivotal, that until we get a reflection in our life we can live without clocking that we are unaware of something, be it a behaviour or a belief, or should I say have chosen to be unaware. We can think we know truth, and then feel what hearing truth feels like in the body not as a translation in the mind. “Upon hearing the truth in her words, I felt more complete, whole, more connected to a sense of the depths of ‘me’”.

  15. “I have come to feel this more deeply, that truth lives within me and can never be lost or truly forgotten – and that my awareness of and connection to truth only ever depends on the choices I make in each moment”

Truth lives within me – I love this Sarah – its when we forget this we get ourselves into all sorts of problems.

  16. The way for me to connect more deeply to a quality within me is to have a Universal Medicine Esoteric healing session. These sessions are about reconnecting back to something I already know but it feels just out of reach. The more I build this lost connection to myself the more important it becomes as I can feel how my attitude towards life and everyone in it subtly changes. I am far more able to discern what is going on around me and stay steady rather than to numb out because I don’t like what I can feel as so withdraw from life.

    1. Sometimes a truth can be told and it is not heard because the choice is there not to hear.

  17. A full, complete ‘Yes’ from the whole body is so different from a head yes that needs figuring out and convincing. It knows the truth already so it can only confirm. Everything is here already, within us – and there’s no ownership.

  18. Words are just words when are preached but not lived. They are like a dry field with no flowers. Nothing to do with what I felt when I listened Serge Benhayon for the very first time. The energy from his expression resonated in me as ‘yes, that’s it’ the stillness felt within my body that woke me up to see and feel who I really am confirmed me the way of the Livingness would be my way.

  19. I can feel your sharing in my bones Sarah. It brings me to appreciate deeply everytime I feel it because it bring me back to me, to the Truth of who I am. Thank you

  20. “Truth for me always brings this feeling of connection if I allow myself to feel this simple and very natural state of being” And herein lies the key to the universe.

  21. To give us more space in life, we need connection to our light/our essence. For by this connection we feel our power and can claim ourselves more in life. A truly profound unfolding.

  22. It’s true Sarah, truth delivered as a revelation can literally make your body feel like it is being woken up.

  23. Truth is an awesome word for, even when it has been bastardised, it still remains able to reveal what is really going on, because true truth simply cannot be denied by the simplicity of its presentation.

  24. “I now find myself deepening my understanding and feeling of truth, with no need to ‘hold on’ or ‘keep it’, or have a fear of losing it – for how can I lose something that is living within me?!”- I can relate to ‘holding onto’ a feeling of the truth that I felt was a very significant or ‘peak experience’ for me. But what I am feeling now is how there are not any peaks or valleys when we are talking about how the Soul communicates to us anyways, only a forever deepening awareness with no end. So instead of grasping onto and reminiscing these so-called ‘peak moments’ I am now allowing the next level of realisation of truth to come to me and in a way simply saying “What’s next?”

    1. Thank you Michaelgoodhart36, what you introduce here is the importance of seeing it as a re-discovery and stepping away from the self-bashing that comes from feeling like you ‘should have known’ and the desperate feeling we can get to not want to be duped again.

  25. I can so feel it in my bones too Sarah. It doesn’t matter what I want to believe when I hear truth or speak truth it resonates so deep and it vibrates in my body to the bones.

  26. Man is it so empowering to feel truth in your body and not just know it in your head!

  27. When we hear the truth spoken our whole body rejoices. This happens even if we do not like what is being said and shows that our body knows truth even if our mind wants to deny it.

  28. So true Elizabeth and this is why our body is so powerful, it has instant access to truth because every particle in our body is divine, it is part of the universe and it is connected to a wisdom greater than what we can comprehend or imagine.

  29. We have access to truth through every particle of our body, it is there constantly for us to access or we can dismiss and live in a way that denies us of truth from ignoring our body’s wisdom and intelligence.

  30. Yes you cannot even put into words why you know it is true. It is a body respond that cannot be described nor explained by any logic.

  31. Like you shared knowing the truth and connecting to it is a forever evolving process. Although there is always an even deeper truth to have access to it is important to claim in an absoluteness what is the truth in that certain, immediate moment of evolution. That then offers and allows a foundation for more to come.

  32. There is a truth that connects us all, it lives within covered by ideals patterns and beliefs that we have taken on board from very young. A lot of the time we can feel the truth of something but can be taken off course by persuasion then I guess we have gone into doubt by not honoring what was there to be felt. I know I have done this for most of my life believing other people rather than what I know to be true, trusting me and what I know has been a long road to walk.

  33. You say Truth lives within you and I know that Truth lives within me and all of us. This confirms how we are all connected at essence and all share the one Truth.

    1. Yes, no one has more truth than another- the only difference is how much do we allow it to be accessed. Truth is not linear- the more we move in space and allow it, the more we will be vehicles for the universal truths. It sounds too simple for the mind that wants to owns things and that loves security, but it is in fact so easy. The ones that know, that truth is not for themselves but for others, will be poured by wisdom.

    2. Beautifully expressed Nicola, and deeply confirming that it is through connecting to our body’s wisdom that we connects to a one unified truth. It is so simple and we have the answers to life within us all.

      1. Yes we walk with the answer within and I guess when you are the answer and carry the answer there is no question!

  34. We know truth better than we know re-interpretations, half-truths and lies. We know it in our bones but we have learnt to mistrust that feeling when our bones ‘tell’ us because we didn’t know how to deal with people we trusted not telling us the truth yet assuring us it was the truth. We get that reflected in so many areas of our lives from our parents, our teachers, our media, our politicians, the list could go on, that we have to build a body that can give voice to our bones again. Remember that we know truth from the inside out not the outside in.

  35. “I now find myself deepening my understanding and feeling of truth, with no need to ‘hold on’ or ‘keep it’, or have a fear of losing it – for how can I lose something that is living within me?!” – This statement is really powerful and one that explains for me why there have been times when I have felt really expanded and connected to that Truth and I have tried to protect that feeling as if it was fleeting, and withdraw from a certain situation or person who I felt was in a negative emotional state so I could maintain that connection with truth. But this is a falsity, because how can I be truly ‘connected to Truth’ while at the same time avoiding others and wanting that feeling just for me? Alternatively, I could have simply walked into those difficult situations, felt my expanded state, and known that it is my choice to contract or not, and offer that feeling of connection and joy to another through inspiration without any expectations.

  36. When truth is spoken it is felt in every cell of the body, it ignites something deep within us, but we don’t always chose to listen to the great wisdom truth offers, because it will expose the comfortable lies we have accepted as being the truth.

    1. Yes. I have found there are times where I don’t understand what someone is telling me but I can feel it is true. I have learnt to just sit with it, to let it percolate and I know that at some point it will either be confirmed by my body as true or not. This feels far more true that just denying because I think I don’t agree…what’s with that?!

  37. “….. experiencing the truth that lives within me …..” When I feel this I experience being at One.

  38. How beautiful to be reminded that truth is living within. This to me is undeniable – though I have tried to dumb my awareness down it is always there to be reconnected to.

  39. Shows there is so much more power in speaking from our body than we tend to give humble credit to.

  40. ‘we know truth because it lives within us. When we feel truth, we are really feeling ourselves’. And it is so gorgeous to feel ourselves after how many years (lifetimes) of not feeling who we truly are.

  41. We expend so much energy in trying to not feel truth that not only is there a feeling of coming home when we reconnect with this inner knowing but also an amazing feeling of vitality as we are no longer fighting against our own compass through life.

  42. We all have our innate truth detector and when we choose to reconnect to this our whole body expands and our particles mingle with others in a beautiful confirmation of the truth we are feeling.

    1. Gorgeous sharing Helen. This is what life is truly about, to express your truth, to expand and evolve and be open and connect with everyone who you meet on your path of return to Soul.

  43. Like someone opened a door to let a cool sweet breeze blow in, as if someone turned off a million loud distracting noises to let the cheating bird song sing, truth has a way of clarifying and settling. The very physical way we feel this sensation is a great clue as you show Sarah that we are here to navigate life via our whole body, not our head.

  44. “we know truth because it lives within us” So simply said and so true. Therefor truth is healthy for us, it is our medicine, because we have strayed so far away from living the truth always, every day, every moment.

  45. I love this and the realisation that we are expansive when we align to truth. This also shows that to live in anything other than that causes us to contract which in itself is unhealthy.

  46. Gorgeous blog, Sarah! And I absolutely adore this: “When we feel truth, we are really feeling ourselves.” So this is why I seek the truth – I am seeking to feel me. This feels so honouring of who I truly am. Thank you.

  47. ‘Through the choices I am making to listen to my body – literally to ‘feel it in my bones’ – I am experiencing the truth that lives within me.’ Such a powerful statement Sarah, when we are aligned to truth we are unshakeable.

  48. Yes, it has been a process for me, to feel the truth of a situation. I have spent most of my life pushing down feelings, ignoring my feelings. With support from Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine, I am allowing myself to feel all the feelings that I did not feel safe to feel. By clearing the stuff I have stored in my body, I am gradually feeling the amazingness of feeling truth!

  49. an invitation to feel all that we truly are … truth mirrors who we are and so we know it, we feel it and it’s the innateness of who we are, forever there ready and waiting for us to live and express it.

  50. It is not that strange that we can feel truth up to even into our bones as our whole body is from truth and when we encounter another person that moves in this energy our body will respond to this immediately and will let us feel that living from this truth is our natural way of beng. The distress and tension of not living to this truth, drops away and we can open up for a greater awareness of the reality we live in.

  51. I wonder why we find the truth so confronting, surely it is what we all want, what we feel we deserve and is actually the much simpler way to live. I thought that I spoke the truth yet I have found there are people around me who have held fear, they don’t hold anything back and say it like it is and I wonder, just wonder if there are continuous layers unpeeling as we deepen our relationship with the truth.

  52. We can feel truth… We have an inmate, built in, ability to discern what is true and what is not… The thing is this awareness has to be nurtured and that’s the thing… Because the simple act of nurturing the awareness is a choice.

  53. I have come to know the feeling of truth in my body so well, as I also have known the feeling of that which is not of truth. And the feelings are light years apart. Anything that is not truth causes a disturbance throughout my body, an uncomfortable feeling of an agitation that threatens to grow and overwhelm if not seen to. In stark contrast the feeling of truth is all embracing, a stillness and a knowing that is felt in every particle of my body. So why wouldn’t I want to live with nothing but the truth in every moment?

    1. Reading your comment, Julie, has just allowed for expansion within my body! I grew up surrounded with a lot of lies and I’ve never really put it into words before, but reading what you have written was like an ‘aha’ moment for me. Looking back, each time another lie was lived I would contract a little more. What living like this felt like for me as a child was a very physical contraction that hardened my body over time. The energy was horrible and left me with a sad feeling of loss – the loss of the beauty and grace of truth and the awesomeness of expansion. Really is incredible to feel how differently I am choosing to live life now and how magnificent living with and in truth feels in my body.

  54. ” we know truth because it lives within us.” This being true it explains how relieved our body becomes when a lie is exposed , or when a false way of living is exposed .

    1. Sure John, the distress we feel in our body from not living to this truth then falls away and leaves us in our natural state, a state of being that is free of any tension we think is so normal for living a human life.

  55. Indeed we are responsible for the quality of our life – and it is so clear when we feel something in our bodies that is true. Because our bodies connect to it. And I love what you share here- that ‘when we feel truth – we are really feeing ourselves’ – this has such a depth to it, as our bodies totally know and present to us the truth.

  56. Beautiful Sarah, feeling truth in your bones is all knowing and rock solid, keeping connected to your body is key to always feeling what is true or not.

  57. ” The gift of being alive is that we all – equally – have the freedom to choose to re-connect to these depths within us – and as truth holds the same quality of that which lives within us, it is an invitation, a ‘call’ to feel all that we truly are. ” this is so true Sara , and this is why lies are so disturbing , the ” quality ” of lies disturbs the body for there is no truth in a lie.

  58. I love when a person comes in and delivers a truth- it ignites inside you the same truth that you know- this shows that it is universal as it is felt by all.

  59. When I have agonized over a decision in the past, the true answer has always felt like every particle in my body was in agreement.

  60. A child recently asked me how we could be certain someone was telling the truth. I said that you could feel it in your body. They weren’t convinced as you couldn’t be certain certain. I said that this becomes about trusting ourselves and what we feel and know from our body’s communication. This is the key, to develop that relationship with our body and ourselves so that we trust what we feel.

  61. I can feel the truth of what Serge Benhayon presents; I have never felt anything quite like it before. My whole body resonates with what has been said and without out me even seemingly doing anything my whole body reconfigures itself. It’s as though I have twisted myself into a knot and slowly the knot get unraveled and I am exposed as who I truly am. The unraveling is the letting go of ideals and beliefs that I have taken on from others believing them to true. However truth does not constrict the body truth expands the body and that’s now I can tell a lie from the truth.

  62. Sarah your words ‘we know truth because it lives within us’ is so true, because when we hear truth we feel it in our body, we may deny the truth, but we do feel it deeply within us.

  63. When truth is felt it is deeply confirming of that which is known. It has a resonance, a vibration that can be felt in every cell of the body yet it is expansive and cannot be contained within a body alone. What a great unifier truth is.

  64. Feeling truth in our bones is an unshakeable knowing and brings an ease to the often more familiar tension of trying to work out if someone is telling the truth or not.

  65. Truth is so much more than words, and even so much more than facts. Truth is a feeling in the body. You know when you say truth, you know when you feel truth, and you know when you see or hear it. The body knows the truth.

    1. That is so true Heather, it feels like a reduction to see Truth as words and facts because they can be the truth of the time or the facts as we know them. When we revisit history and see a larger picture, thereby being able to understand why people made the decisions they did, it is easy to see the reason for why someone thought something was true. We would be wise to bring a greater depth to the way we live, an energetic layer and perspective as it may well offer a different perspective worth considering.

  66. We do feel Truth in our bones and we are very sharp at discerning when something is Truth or when something is lies. But it depends on what we have chosen to align to. If we’ve chosen to align to what is not truth, then when truth comes along it may seem exposing or uncomfortable and we may not like that so we dismiss, ignore or cut it down. But it doesn’t change that we know it in our bones.

  67. We are truth deep within and so of course when we hear truth our bodies resonate and we have that ahh this I know. And we do, and it’s about living in a way that supports a connection to that knowing. As you say Sarah we really do know it in our bones.

  68. Knowing something ‘to your bones’ is deeply satisfying and confirming – that we know truth, and know ourselves.

    1. yes, so we know we are in fact living a lie. We may like to admit this yet if we consider truth as an all encompassing way of living in relation to our Oneness, any step away from this is a reduction of ourselves in truth.

  69. The words of Serge Benhayon in presenting the Ageless Wisdom vibrate within my body as a reconnection to truth.

  70. ” we know truth because it lives within us. When we feel truth, we are really feeling ourselves.’ Beautifully said Sarah

  71. ‘On a daily basis therefore, through the choices I am making to listen to my body – literally to ‘feel it in my bones’ – I am experiencing the truth that lives within me.’ Being confronted with the diagnosis of osteoporosis this makes so much sense, for years and years, or probably lifetimes I have not lived the truth I know has always been there in myself, I chose to not listen, to put others first and gave my power away. The weakness of my bones are reflecting to me how I ignored the truth, choosing to not express what I know is true. Such a blessing to now make other choices and listen to what my body is telling me.

  72. “That is, we know truth because it lives within us. When we feel truth, we are really feeling ourselves.” I never thought of it like that but it makes sense because truth lives within every cell of our body and when we hear truth it re-awakens the cells. I have always felt this in Serge Benhayon’s presentations my body comes alive when i listened to him as every cell in my body aligns to the truth.

  73. What a fascinating observation; ‘a possibility had been presented to me which I felt instantly and deeply as a truth, and one, which is often the case, that started my head spinning’ ….. its as if truth when we feel it inside disarms us, it knocks us out of the locked pattern we can so easily get caught up in when we live from our heads.

    1. Very true simonwilliams8, being presented with truth can be very uncomfortable exposing what is being said or where the energy is coming from… the head. The immediate response can be very harming and attacking but it is the responsibility of the deliverer of truth to simply observe and not react/absorb… a learning I am beginning to have an understanding for.

    2. Yes I get that. It unravels us and opens up the space to feel the complexities that have created that false we have accepted as truth. It can make the head spin to consider just how far down a rabbit hole we have gone without discerning.

  74. I really connect with the saying “I feel it in my bones”. This reality has played a large part in my life, on the peripheral I was very aware of so many things, however in the reality of every day life I ignored, over-rode and pushed aside this awareness. So much so that I was often rather annoyed at myself for not acting on what I had felt. This I feel is the bit I missed, having the confidence and trust in myself to go with what I felt, even though it had ‘proven’ it’s validity over and over again. This confidence has only become more of my living way since I choose to become a student of the religion of the Way of the Livingness, as presented by Serge Benhayon.

  75. “I now find myself deepening my understanding and feeling of truth, with no need to ‘hold on’ or ‘keep it’, or have a fear of losing it – for how can I lose something that is living within me?!”
Thank you for sharing this Sarah, for I have let my mind dance with the niggly fear of loosing my connection and the ever deepening awareness that I have. But as you share, I cannot loose what I hold within.

  76. I have set myself on a program to feel truth in my bones Sarah. I know what you say is true, we inherently know truth, it is a question of choosing to reconnect to that awareness and to confirm it when we feel it.

  77. ‘we know truth because it lives within us. When we feel truth, we are really feeling ourselves.’ Very true Sarah.

  78. I love that feeling of solidness you get when you feel the deep knowing of truth in your body.

  79. We have the ability to re-connect to what we know is truth at any point. It takes commitment, consistency and perhaps an understanding that living from and with this connection offers a responsibility to all.

  80. The body knows well when something is not true, it is up to us to honour that.

  81. Sarah this is very inspiring to read, and it ignites that same knowing of truth in me. We don’t think of ourselves as human beings as “truth” but in essence we are. We see glimpses of this inner truth when we just know or sense something, we might even feel that something about life is not right. We have this truth within us no matter how muted or temporarily buried it feels. Thank you Sarah, beautifully expressed.

  82. Thank you Sarah, I want to come back and read this one again. It is so simple yet I can see I need reminding that truth is actually what I know deep down and although I know it is something I value very deeply I can see that I so want to trust people that I can be swayed by their clever manipulation with words. What you have shared here means we can only be swayed by words when we are not feeling the energy that comes with those words. One for me to bring into my day-to-day as an experiment I feel and re-develop that connection.

  83. Thank you Sarah for this great and timely reminder that we are never truly lost, it’s only that we have chosen to disconnect and block out our Love. Sure we may have become experts at this, but the simple truth is we can choose to return to this any moment, any place, any day. It can take years to lose yourself but the truth will always meet you face to face when you take the smallest step back towards who you are.

  84. Truth is always there for us to feel ‘in our bones’; a beautiful confirming blog to read Sarah, thank you.

  85. “we know truth because it lives within us” this is so profound, when we stop to connect to this we can truly know when something is true or not, our radars are on. If we use this awareness in our every movement, in each moment we will be able to know what is true or not as it lives within us.

  86. An exposé of truth in the body. You can grasp the depth of it with the expression of Sarah: Connect, Surrender to it, Feel it, Confirm it, Expansion – allow it to come into your awareness. “It is our body which instantly delivers this knowing, giving weight to that old adage ‘I can feel it in my bones’.” Let that Love live within without- Cherish and celebrate You.

  87. Every cell in our body knows if something is true or not, we know it – every single part of us knows it, and the life that unfolds when we choose to live by this truth is immeasurably magnificent.

  88. “we know truth because it lives within us.” This is so true. When I first heard Serge Benhayon present he challenged the foundations upon which I lived, yet I recognised the Truth he presented and it over-rode all my resistance and I changed my life.

  89. “We know truth because it lives within us. When we feel truth, we are really feeling ourselves.” It is so true that we know and feel truth in our bodies; it is thus incumbent on us to express the truth no matter the consequences. A beautiful reminder Sarah, thank you.

  90. Like a joker, we like to stash in our back pocket, to be called upon on a rainy day, it seems our feeling senses are things we rarely consider. When we are thinking what number to pick for the lotto or choosing what to cook for dinner, our feeling senses can be consulted. But more often than not they are relegated to second place, in deference to what is in our head. Worse than this they can be blatantly ignored, ruled out and obliterated from our landscape if they don’t suit. Yet the world we live in is made up of energy which we can’t help but constantly feel. No wonder we are exhausted and confused when we try so very hard to block what is so natural, out. Thank you Sarah for this reminder that using thoughts to override our feelings is only likely to break us.

  91. I took some fish from the freezer last night and this morning I went to prepare it but it didn’t feel too good, I smelt it and it didn’t smell fresh or inviting. I saw that it had been on special offer, probably bought on the last day of the sell by date. I often buy things on special offer to get a good deal but am I really getting a good deal? My body deserves the best and from now on I shall be more discerning and spend the extra pennies or even pounds and make sure I am delivering the best quality to my body from the outset. Now I also make sure I date everything that goes in to the freezer and do not let it stay there too long. After all what we eat makes up our blood and goes to our bones.

  92. ‘On a daily basis therefore, through the choices I am making to listen to my body – literally to ‘feel it in my bones’ – I am experiencing the truth that lives within me.’ How important is it then to forever deepen the love and respect, the honouring of our bodies, to treat them as the precious vehicles they are.

  93. We have been taught the truth is always about something that actually happened and it usually came on the back of you being accused of telling a lie. Remember “tell the truth” and then people would gauge whether you have told enough of the truth for them to believe you. This article brings an important aspect to ‘truth’ as being a living thing, a living part of you, “On a daily basis therefore, through the choices I am making to listen to my body – literally to ‘feel it in my bones’ – I am experiencing the truth that lives within me.” We often think truth is just something we do or say in one part or in one moment, not thinking or realising that it’s actually something you live. This article brings the ‘truth’ of truth, it’s a consistent living or honouring of a deeper and deeper feeling within you.

  94. This is such a deeply confirming piece, that we do in fact know truth, but we just need to re-acquaint ourselves with it, and allow ourselves to deeply feel the inner knowing that is always there. It’s building a relationship with it so we know and feel it and absolutely honour it in every way. Reading this I feel the invite that truth offers us all.

  95. Love what you share here about feeling truth in our bodies Sarah, it is so true, however without the teachings of Universal Medicine I would still be blindly trying to make my way in life thinking that my gut feelings, or the satisfaction of having my needs met were an indicator of ‘truth’. To feel it as something that is expansive in the body was an amazing thing to discover, and to then use to navigate life. Knowing how I know things are true or not has been a very, VERY supportive awareness to develop.

  96. The way you have expressed how you know by ‘feeling it in the bone’ is just exquisite and makes me wonder if I have ever actually allowed my whole body to really feel the ‘truth’ when I see/hear it. I can feel the responsibility I have been neglecting – to be aware and to take care of my body so that it would allow the vibration of truth to penetrate right through so that it can expand out. Could it be possible whenever I thought I understood/agreed/accepted the truth without that expansion, but only up in my head, I was actually collecting information and wanting to store it just for me? I know how truth feels amazingly beautiful, why wouldn’t I want to keep it for myself if I stop myself short of feeling the Oneness we come from?

    1. Fumiyo you make some great points, if truth is part of who we are then the way that feels in our body compared to memorising facts is very different. The way that we currently accumulate knowledge, and base education this way, shows our disconnection worldwide to the essence of who we are, and to an understanding of ourselves. We have very much underestimated who we are.

  97. It is truly magnificent to feel truth and know it from inside of our body, knowing we hold ourselves dear and presenting a way of life that is in connection to the all that which we know that is true.

  98. I love that we can choose to connect to what lies within at any moment, for we are empowered to live the life that is possible when love and truth lie at the foundation of every movement and expression. It is a shame so many of us have forgotten the magnitude of our inner most for it remains there patiently waiting for us to reconnect for it to show us how magnificent life truly can be.

  99. Our bones and every particle in our body is attuned to truth. We have to do some serious overriding to not feel it.

    1. That’s true Nikki, it crazy how we choose to override it and make it more complicated and strenuous on ourselves.

  100. Truth lives within us.. and it is this foundational truth that echoes throughout all the ancient wisdom of humanity and beyond, deep within us we know what is true, and so much frustration and anger comes from our dismissing this quiet voice of truth.

  101. “Truth has this effect because it speaks to the part of us which ‘knows all’” Truth is felt so deeply because we all know it within us, but it is only felt when we stop and connect to our bodies, otherwise we miss the golden opportunity to learn and feel the divine wisdom on offer.

  102. It is interesting that when we allow ourselves to feel what is said as well as hear what is said how words can cause a feeling of expansion or contraction and this can indicate to us whether it is truth, meaning in resonance with our body and particles or not.

  103. Thank you Sarah, I can feel the truth of what you have shared in my own body, all my cells resinate to your words of truth. This truth lives within all, connecting to it we connect to the all and each one equally. Truth brings with it, joy and expansion.

  104. ‘When we feel truth, we are really feeling ourselves.’ – So Beautifully put Sarah, I can feel the expansion and confirmation it brings.

  105. “We know truth because it lives within us. When we feel truth, we are really feeling ourselves.” Experiencing this is a joy indeed.

  106. Truth is deeply known in our bodies, so this makes me see how crazy it is to doubt our feelings. As it in most cases is the most clear and first thing we know, truth is there the second we are standing for a decision. Learning to see this and shift the trust from our minds to our bodies is the lesson we need to learn.

  107. Great sharing, when truth is spoken we can feel it in our body, as we know deep inside, our cells and particles feel it all. Like you say “‘I can feel it in my bones’. That is, we know truth because it lives within us. When we feel truth, we are really feeling ourselves.”

  108. It is very true – when truth is spoken we can feel it vibrate in every cell in our body.

  109. It makes sense – the truth spoken by another resonates deeply inside of us because it is a part of us that is met in equalness and confirmed.

  110. Truth is an ever-present relationship that we can tune into or switch off… our dearest and oldest friend, our connection to the universe and pure, unending Joy when we live its way.

  111. Thank you Sarah. I love your words “I feel a confirmation that truth connects us more deeply to who we already are, which for me is akin to a ” deep knowing” that is always there”

  112. Love this, Sarah. It’s way beyond doubt for me now yet once upon a time, I would say doubt was the only thing I could be truly certain of!! Truth is felt in the bones, it’s an all encompassing knowing with no room for doubt because it’s just fills you from the inside out. Hearing truth is so powerful and I appreciate how you broke this down in terms of how your body responded. Learning how to accept and live with truth can take time, because it’s not easy to realise you haven’t been with it in the way you are in life. But the next beautiful thing is once truth is felt, you can’t go back!! It’s there in your body always waiting for you to simply be with it. Awesome.

  113. It is so true that ‘feeing truth is feeling ourselves’ – and I can feel this in my bones. I am inspired by this blog to realise that none of our human struggles can actually remove us from the truth of who we are – unless we choose to make it so. This is a powerful realisation and brings awareness to me of how I have been giving power to life’s struggles unnecessarily. Thank you Sarah for sharing your awareness here.

  114. “We know truth because it lives within us. When we feel truth, we are really feeling ourselves.”

What an offering to the reader here. To feel truth is to feel ourselves because it lies within us.

  115. The truth in our bodies without a doubt reflects the lightness of the oneness that we are, and are from. It is a quality that remains unchanged, and forever waiting for us to surrender to its harmony. When we are willing to know truth our bodies will guide us, as they are constellated to and continually do. It is only ourselves that choose to not know what is universally known within, the truth. And as such it also ourselves that can choose to walk in the power of knowing what is of this truth. As you have said so well Sarah – ‘…we know truth because it lives within us’ and this beautifully highlights how we can never be strangers when we connect to our truth within, for we are in essence united by a quality within that reflects who we all truly are.

  116. the basic is : we have and know truth inside out, from head till toe and it reaches even more deep than our bones. So kick out any ideal or belief or thought that says it is something outside of you! It is absolute evil to think that and hence we have been fed beliefs that are not ours at all. Hence not the truth we know and we come from. Great great call Sarah – truth – you can feel it in your bones.

  117. When I first came to Universal Medicine and heard Serge Benhayon speak I could not remember what he said but there was something within me that knew that this was truth, this was what I had been waiting for and my whole body was feeling it but my mind could not grasp it. Truth is felt in the body and it is the mind that tries to prove or disprove it. Truth is a whole body experience and the more I listen to this the more I am able to discern what is true or not.

  118. Communicating and expressing from our bodies does feel entirely different to expressing from our minds in complete disconnect to the body.

    1. So true if someone expresses from their body it inspires something in me, it is like I understand it with every cell of my body rather than just trying to grasp it with my mind, like the vibration of it is passed on as well and it not being a mere regurgitation of words but a transmission of something more.

  119. ‘… the only ‘thing’ I am ever truly missing is my connection to this knowing, and nothing more.’ This is a beautiful and simple truth that when connected to can stop the insatiable search to be fulfilled from the outside material world.

  120. Sarah, a beautiful confirmation of that which we all know to be true when felt so deeply within the body – it is as simple as stopping to actually listen to the body and know truth in our bones.
“On a daily basis therefore, through the choices I am making to listen to my body – literally to ‘feel it in my bones’ – I am experiencing the truth that lives within me. This is a constant unfolding with an immeasurable depth of love, joy and glory”.

    1. Beautifully said Victoria – the body speaks the language of truth fluently, it is the mind and human spirit that pretends to not know or be aware that they can understand this fluency.

  121. This line is amazing: “I now find myself deepening my understanding and feeling of truth, with no need to ‘hold on’ or ‘keep it’, or have a fear of losing it – for how can I lose something that is living within me?!” How can we fear anything when the truth lives inside us every moment of the day? We essentially have a compass and the guidance to deal with any situation ahead of us.

  122. This feeling of yes, relief and settlement you felt on reconnecting to the truth you already knew I could also call harmony – it is like where everything falls into place and that brings a joy, and the silence you describe is like stillness. This makes complete sense because Harmony and Joy in common with Truth, Love and Stillness are the 5 qualities of the Soul and when you have one you have all.

    1. Yes Nicola – beautifully shared. When we feel truth in our bodies, it is a confirmation of our communion with Soul, our oneness, our innate way of being.

  123. “I am ever truly missing is my connection” this is true for everybody. All the angst, worries, woes, dilemmas of the world, loveless relationships, family issues, stresses of work, sadness, grief and much more simply comes from a deep aching of not being connected to ourselves, and with that other people.

  124. Yes – so true, truth is felt so deep within, that the measure that it reaches to the depth of our bones, symbolises to us that it runs deep.. And that truth even goes beyond that. Beautiful and well put.

  125. Yes, beautifully expressed, Mary. I heard that sermon, too, and the more I manage to surrender to the choices offered to me by the stars, the more I feel myself expand.

  126. “We know truth because it lives within us. When we feel truth, we are really feeling ourselves.” This is so true Sarah. As children we live from this knowing but this knowing becomes clouded through the conforming to the demands of the life around us. Reconnecting and choosing to respond and honour this knowing is such a joy and brings truth to life.

  127. I recognise this too Mary, that when absolute truth is present, either expressed by myself or another there is a release of tension and it seems as though some untruth leaves the body. The body settles more deeply in to its natural way of being which can feel like an expansion at the same time.

  128. It is amazing to see how our bodies know truth before we can even think about whether it is ‘good’/’bad’ and/or ‘right’/’wrong’.

  129. I too can feel the sense of freedom that these words bring “I am responsible for the quality of my life” . There is that joy and inspiration of knowing the truth, thank you Sarah.

  130. When we hear Truth it resonates in a way that we just ‘know’ it is true, we feel it. We can choose to ignore but if we acknowledge it does bring a deep connection to our self and by doing so to God. “When I reflect on this moment I feel a confirmation that truth connects us more deeply to who we already are, which for me is akin to a ‘deep knowing’ that is always there: any truth, when felt, does this.”

  131. I know this feeling when I hear/see truth again – “like being reunited with an awesome old friend whom I’d lost contact with a long time ago and forgotten about – but remembered instantly when I heard (saw) them again”. And it is not just like a reunion with a lost friend, but a reunion with a lost part of me. And it is like I have lived a ‘me’ which was just a shadow, a poor imitation of the true ‘me’. While by and by more of the ‘true me’ parts coming alive and activated again – like they had have a deep sleep – I become a true reawakened. And I understand now more deeply so what this word truly means. It means to choose to wake up and live again the parts of me (what is in truth my connection to the Universe) which I have anaesthetised and numbed for so long.

  132. Truth brings an instant sense of completeness that not only feels very clear and beautiful but that also dissolves movement and offer the space to start again on a new foundation.

  133. ‘I now find myself deepening my understanding and feeling of truth, with no need to ‘hold on’ or ‘keep it’, or have a fear of losing it – for how can I lose something that is living within me?!’ We can never lose ourselves, we can only get lost when our focus is outside and not inside the body.

  134. So true Sarah… “how can I lose something that is living within me?!” This captures something we so commonly run with, that we are not ‘everything’ to begin with, intact and already knowing.

  135. The simplicity of connecting to our bodies, and listening to the story that they have to tell us is so simple. So grounding, and available to all no matter what our education, financial set up, race, colour, nationality, gender. Its universal, and its true no matter what…

  136. “Having the simple and practical tools to reconnect to who I naturally am has been so absolutely wonderful and brings me a tremendous sense of freedom to truly know that I am responsible for the quality of my life.” This is the key-using the tools, everyday and making them a living way. That is evolution.

  137. What I am inspired by truth is it is always deepening, at certain times we can access a layer of it but with a commitment to returning to truth, it is constantly deepening and the beauty in feeling this is absolutely grand.

  138. We are so used to hearing things that aren’t true and bracing ourselves against that onslaught. To hear and feel truth deep within, a truth that resonates within us because we come from love and truth is deeply beautiful.

  139. Is it any wonder that there is so much illness, disease, anxiousness and exhaustion in the word when you so rightly say Mary, the real war is happening in our bodies, which is then reflected on the outside and manifests as all the ills and ailments of a society that has forgotten who they truly are. We are far more powerful than any opposing force yet we succumb to the belief that we are helpless victims in a world that doesn’t care…. so you are right, until we start to express our truth every day and in every moment the world will not change, so let’s begin to claim the truth starting with being honest with ourselves about how we are really feeling.

  140. “From this I realise that the only ‘thing’ I am ever truly missing is my connection to this knowing, and nothing more…” This sentence took my breath away, and I realised that this felt true for me, I know that there is a part of me that is Universal, that knows everything, that feels everything, yet sometimes I choose to play dumb and forget who I am, leaving me feeling frustrated and anxious, yet at the same time I am choosing it!! One thing is for sure, I can feel truth in my bones too, so discerning energy becomes easier, all I have to do is accept who I am, feel my body, and stop thinking.

  141. In the presence of truth, all that is not of this essence is given the grace to dissolve if we allow it, thereby releasing us from the bind that we have been held in by living what is not true.

  142. There was a song once that said … “ Let me hear you speak of truth., let me recognize its resonance”. And the fact is that truth does have a resonance that we crave to hear… it does slake a previously unquenchable thirst which we all, as a species, have.

  143. Hi Sarah, what dawned on me as I was reading this was that the bones are our foundations so that it makes perfect sense that we feel truth in our bones particularly if we have been operating off a false foundation, a false idea of our self, as the truth shakes that falseness to the core so that there is a choice to shift and, as you say, connect to our deeper knowing.

  144. “we know truth because it lives within us”. Powerful words here Sarah. It certainly does live within us because when we don’t live our truth, there is tension and then we need to relieve the tension and much of this world is set up to relieve the tension but not get to the truth of the matter – they only provide short term relief of the tension.

  145. Very beautiful to feel how my body resonates with your words, Sarah. Then again, I clocked how my mind’s ‘I know this’ kinds of starts building that wall and somehow gets in the way of the body completely surrendering, therefore the truth penetrating even further deeper. Totally awesome to feel the more-ness of the connection we can have with the Truth.

  146. Feeling truth, this is an unmistakable feeling within me the first time I read Serge Benhayon’s purple books. Every particle within me was vibrating with the joy of knowing, of coming back to the true me, as truth is universally known by our body.

  147. I love how truth is so clear and precise in our bodies and there is no denying the power of that when we are connected to our inner heart. When we feel that knowing from deep within our bones we no longer need to seek from outside of us as the answers are always there. Our connection is the true beauty we hold.

  148. ‘I am responsible for the quality of my life.’ This is a pretty powerful sentence, it says, make any choice you want, but understand that every choice has a consequence that either heals or harms. It’s enormous responsibility to feel when you realise that your every move affects the next, but if we don’t accept that responsibility, then who do we accept should? And is it possible when we relieve ourselves of this responsibility, we spend our lives blaming others for our misfortune?

  149. ‘When we feel truth, we are really feeling ourselves’. Yes this is how it can be, and sets us free from wanting to be anything else but be true to ourselves.

  150. We can actually feel truth… it has a definitive resonance that we can become accustomed to, and can be used thereafter as a lodestone for our lives, enabling us to have truth as a foundation.

  151. ‘That is, we know truth because it lives within us. When we feel truth, we are really feeling ourselves’ – truth is no stranger to us – it literally resides in our bones as you have said Sarah. In every word I speak there is a constant reflection of all of who I am and have lived being reflected back to me. Honesty means that this reflection is honoured by acknowledging what is being offered in the moment. We are responsible for the quality of the life we live. Thank you Sarah.

  152. Sarah,
Truth, I have discovered, once felt as my truth can not be ignored. I can push it down and try to mould it to fit what I want, but when I do this, my mind plays tricks, and my body tightens and hardens. Always, eventually I surrender to what I have felt and this brings with it that feeling of relief you shared above. But relief is not actually what it is, to me it feels like an absolute joyousness when I let my body be how it wants to be, without configuring and controlling it in any way.

  153. Beautifully said Sarah, our bodies know truth and I experience a lightness and absolute clarity within when I hear truth.

  154. Truth is a whole body experience and I know when I feel truth there is an absoluteness that I feel throughout my body that is not felt with anything other than truth. The key is to stay with this feeling rather than let self doubt come in and question what I have just felt.

  155. Yes, I agree Truth does feel like a coming home in the body, a settlement and expansion in one. Truth is also the sibling of Love, Joy, Harmony and Stillness so when one is expressed the rest of the family is felt too.

  156. Truth for me brings clarity, anything less leave a fog or denseness, something unresolved. I know most of the time we all get by on living a life based far from truth but why when we know how liberating truth is? It does not make any sense. I know for me truth can at times seem too simple. It also involves having to take full responsibility for all of my past choices – something I do not always find easy to do. Yet when I do it all clears and what I thought was a big deal actually was not. My body knows and loves truth – I know that for sure! I cannot simply turn the truth switch off because other people do not always want truth, after all if we are the same then everyone also can equally feel truth and so if no one is expressing it how can we all get to start feeling and living it.

  157. This is so very empowering to read – imagine the world and how it could be if it was common/understood knowledge that everything is within and there is no need to search for answers outside. Imagine how we would treat each other knowing that the very same truth is actually equal within us all – would there still be right and wrong then?

  158. When we are in true joy we are in energetic truth … beautiful words heard while listening to a presentation of Serge Benhayon the other day, and I found myself relating to this on a deeper level than before.

  159. What a profound statement… that truth connects us deeply to who we are… and when people understand, and moreover experience this then the world will experience a very new paradigm of consciousness.

  160. I think we need this reminder, that we are more than meets the eye. It’s so easy to get caught up in our everyday lives that we forget that there might be a deeper truth to us. I think this truth we seek in many various ways, through education, through life style but in the end we still feel unfulfilled.

  161. When we feel truth in our bones it reverberates through our bodies with a resounding YES. It is then our responsibility to express and share the truth for the benefit and expansion of all.
A beautiful sharing Sarah, thank you.

  162. I have heard it said that our body is an instrument, but I have never understood till reading your words Sarah that our body communicates in notes and continuously resonates harmoniously or discordantly with life’s events. It is in our particles as they vibrate, this beautiful soulful music of life. Long may we all listen and be students of our body’s symphonies.

  163. Sarah you offer a beautiful and detailed description of the difference between knowledge and knowing and how the truth that can be felt deeply within. There is a deep restfulness when truth is felt, even if the mind cannot fathom it.

  164. “we know truth because it lives within us. When we feel truth, we are really feeling ourselves”. This is so true, truth lives within us, the love and joy we feel when we feel truth confirms the deep knowing we all have access to.

  165. I have finally come to know and understand what truth is after living for most of my life in a way that didn’t allow this connection to what I innately always knew, what is naturally part of me. It sounds crazy to say that I didn’t know what truth was, when it is something that is actually so familiar, but something that I had buried under the often dishonest way that I chose to live. Now by choosing to live in and from truth I can feel the immense beauty of the fact that: “truth connects us more deeply to who we already are”, and that it lives in every particle of our being.

  166. I am responsible for the quality of my life. This I have come to know is absolute truth, and when you know this truth and feel it in your bones, your life changes forever.

  167. Deeply appreciating this truth that you have delivered for us all Sarah: “I am responsible for the quality of my life.”
The real deal of truth is unified, it applies to all. We are all equally responsible for our lives and the quality of love that we live, and, the impact of this upon the all.

  168. The truth – delivered so simply Sarah, thank-you: “we know truth because it lives within us”.
The intellectualisation of truth – taking it away from the simplicity of what is so deeply and bodily felt and known, what resonates to our very bones as you say – has divorced us from the endless well of richness that’s within.
I love this blog and it’s pure expression of a return to such simple, and yes ‘true’, knowing – one that cannot be denied, for it is experienced so profoundly in our own bodies.

  169. When we feel truth it is as if we have given birth to love and it is connecting us to the universality of us all.

  170. ” I now find myself deepening my understanding and feeling of truth, with no need to ‘hold on’ or ‘keep it’, or have a fear of losing it – for how can I lose something that is living within me?!” As I read these words a picture flashed in my brain of how I have been hoarding knowledge. Recently I have been de-cluttering my house and noticed how I tend to hoard books, paper and notes – because it might be useful one day. However if the truth lives in my body this is simply not necessary … I know what inspires and resonates in my body, the rest is unnecessary information overload.

  171. Feeling truth in my body is simply reconnecting to that quality within me that allows me to feel and access that which is an innate knowing of what is and what is not.

  172. Re-connecting to my ability to literally feel truth in my bones is like a home-coming after being lost in the wilderness of living in my mind for so long. Rather than endless agonising over what to do in so many situations, choosing to be present in my body connects me to this deeper knowingness and transforms the quality of my life immeasurably.

  173. “I feel a confirmation that truth connects us more deeply to who we already are, which for me is akin to a ‘deep knowing’ that is always there: any truth, when felt, does this” I so agree Sarah. I felt this when I first – and still do – come to Universal Medicine presentations. No need for scientific ‘proof’ – which gets transcended with new discoveries anyway – as my body knows – and I trust it to know truth.

  174. Sarah, this blog is such a gorgeous confirmation of the power of truth, when we hear it we absolutely know it, it stops us and we see clearly what is there, there is no place to go and nowhere to hide, but a settling as our body feels and acknowledges the truth it knows and has just heard expressed.

  175. The presentations by Serge Benhayon on the difference between Honesty and Truth have been deeply illuminating. I have found it is great to start with honesty, to get understanding between each other and with ourselves about how we feel and what is around us, but Truth confirms, clears and raises everything to a whole new level – for all equally. I am learning that here truth and healing go together.

  176. Hearing and feeling truth really does offer us a deeper connection to ourselves and our bodies and all that lives within. It is an amazing expansive feeling of who and what we are and know in the oneness glory and wisdom that we come from. It is a beautiful way of living to be nurtured and treasured from our bones out to the all.

  177. “Truth connects us more deeply to who we already are, which for me is akin to a ‘deep knowing’ that is always there: any truth, when felt, does this. “- Yes, for me when truth is felt – it is an ‘aha’ moment; my body feels expanded and I feel a deeper connection with me.

  178. I love this line Sarah… ‘ I have come to feel this more deeply, that truth lives within me and can never be lost or truly forgotten’ as it captures the mistake so commonly made where we think that we have to go out looking for the truth.. research, ask those who ‘should know’, seek counsel etc. But it is all accessible within us, and once this is known, finding the truth of anything becomes so much simpler.

  179. “So what I felt as ‘relief’ was actually a deeper connection to who I already truly am”. I never really thought about it like that but as soon as I read these words they resonated in my body.

  180. “When I reflect on this moment I feel a confirmation that truth connects us more deeply to who we already are, which for me is akin to a ‘deep knowing’ that is always there: any truth, when felt, does this.”
I always get this feeling of “a deep knowing in my bones” at every Universal Medicine presentation which is a confirmation of the teaching repeated often by Serge Benhayon that ‘the body is the marker of truth’.

  181. It should not be so extraordinary that we hear people speaking truth, but it seems to be. It’s almost as if we are so used to being told half truths and lies that we filter things that come to us and assess what we hear looking for the grain of truth. It’s pretty sad and we are often used to curbing what we want to say and softening it so that its impact is less. How great it would be, and how healing it would be if we heard and spoke truth all the time. It’s a lovely description of what happens to our bodies when truth is spoken…imagine if that was all the time.

  182. With truth connecting us more deeply to who we already are, there is no need to search or seek for anything outside of us. The truth lives within our physical frame, the being that you are is the truth.

  183. Truth is an instant expansion felt from within, it is like a warm balloon feeling up inside us and it fills our whole bodies effortlessly. A gorgeous confirmation of truth felt from the body, thank you Sarah.

  184. Our body responds to truth far beyond the mental process that decides whether something is true or not according to its conditions. When connected to, the body just knows.

  185. “The gift of being alive…” This stopped me in my tracks. In that for so long I haven’t actually felt that. I would never have considered it like that. That my life was actually a gift. It’s not that I was depressed or anything like that. Far from it. It’s just a very subtle but very powerfully different way to look at life. If I see it as a gift, lots of things shift. Appreciation comes to the very fore and then I also am inspired to question what I am going to do with it. It brings a real purpose. Thanks to Universal Medicine, I too now see my life as a gift.

  186. Absolutely beautiful to feel your deep appreciation and acknowledgement in ‘knowing’ the truth in your body. Our body is a gateway and everything is already there within, and all we have been doing all this time is how not to connect to that, and what you share here, Sarah, invites me to a deeper surrender as what you say is equally true for me and my body knows that.

  187. “we know truth because it lives within us. When we feel truth, we are really feeling ourselves”.
Yes, it’s so beautiful when we feel our body confirming a truth – there is a feeling of expansion, warm pulsating flow running through my body, and a deepening connection to ourselves.

  188. “I have come to feel this more deeply, that truth lives within me and can never be lost or truly forgotten”
and all that is required for us is our commitment to connect and surrender to that which lives and is innate within us all and to live in the simplicity and flow that truth allows us to live with.

  189. ” I now find myself deepening my understanding and feeling of truth, with no need to ‘hold on’ or ‘keep it’, or have a fear of losing it – for how can I lose something that is living within me?!” This is so beautiful Sarah as it reinforces the fact that truth and love reside at the centre of ourselves and are always and forever there awaiting our recognition and acceptance of this very truth itself.

  190. When truth is spoken it reverberates in every part of our being. The problem is that we can react to the truth and when we do that we don’t get the blessing that the truth brings.

  191. I watched a documentary once about some perpetrators of a crime had a choice to meet with the victims of their crime. This one crime involved the tragic killing of a young man working at the local pizza hut in a burglary gone wrong. Of the 3 perpetrators, only 1 chose to meet the parents of the child and just before he went in the meet the parents, he said I am naked in my truth. He was choosing truth over fear (even though he was nervous) and he chose responsibility over fear. He knew the truth inside his body and was facing up to it and the consequences of his crime. It was a powerful moment.

  192. “From this I realise that the only ‘thing’ I am ever truly missing is my connection to this knowing, and nothing more. Truth then acts as a bridge or connector of sorts to the quality – this knowing – that is within me.”
Even the truths that I have not wanted to be told have always connected me deeper to my quality. A tender reminder to not shy away from saying the truth, even if those who hear it may not like it, as it is an opportunity for all to connect deeper to the quality that resides within.

  193. Such a pertinent question Sarah: “how can I lose something that is living within me?” The answer of course is we can’t, but we can make every attempt to bury it so we don’t have to face what it is telling us, and in the process make ourselves very miserable and often very sick. But one thing that is inevitable, truth will always prevail, and one day what you have appeared to have lost will re-appear once again and life will be as it is meant to be, a livingness based on truth.

  194. “I now find myself deepening my understanding and feeling of truth, with no need to ‘hold on’ or ‘keep it’, or have a fear of losing it – for how can I lose something that is living within me?!” This is beautiful we cannot lose it when it is living within us, this the beauty of connecting to our truth, it is when we are disconnected to the truth we are lost.

  195. “we know truth because it lives within us. When we feel truth, we are really feeling ourselves”. Yes we sure do know truth, our body speaks loud and clear.

  196. When I feel truth and true, my whole body relaxes , there is nothing between myself and anyone else, as enormous love holds us in union.

  197. Thank You Sarah for a beautiful reading,I love this line “we know truth because it lives within us. When we feel truth, we are really feeling ourselves”. There is deep love and joy in this knowing.

  198. “we know truth because it lives within us. When we feel truth, we are really feeling ourselves”.
Yes Sarah I agree it is like coming home, it is deeply felt throughout the whole body.
A very beautiful reminder to feel, know and express the truth in each and every moment.

  199. Great confirmation that just as love expands love, truth expands truth. By connecting with another, honoring what we sense in that moment, and with an openness expressing all that there is, we provide a truth that offers an opportunity for them (and in turn for ourself) to expand and deepen our awareness. Yes you can feel it through your whole body – it is like coming home.

  200. Very beautiful blog. ‘Truth is truth and can only be expressed if that truth is recognized within one’. I love this blog. Also when this was being said: ..when we are spoken to with truth, it is an opportunity for us to connect with and feel this part, this knowing – our ‘inner-most’ – more deeply; for it to come into our awareness. ”
This must be why we should talk to each other and have truth as our highest marker – so that we keep offering each other truth and so evolution to grow back and enfold the wisdom we are..

  201. Truth was buried a long time ago. We all had it and knew it but the reactions we encountered were confusing and painful so truth was denied. Now we are being called to be that truth, that love again. We are called to feel, know, move in that love we know we are. The way is clear and the path is true.

  202. How crucial are the choices we make that ensure we always keep the connection to our inner truth

  203. ‘Truth has this effect because it speaks to the part of us which ‘knows all’ – I love what you are sharing Sarah. One special word in this blog stands out for me and that is ‘Confirmation’. When we confirm ourselves, others and what is around us as reflecting the love that is there always, we are building ‘truth’, we are more fully claiming ourselves and the beauty in this world of ours. Thank you for sharing Sarah – today will be all about confirm, confirm, confirm,

  204. Thank you Sarah, so beautiful and freeing to truly know that our awareness and connection is a choice in every moment; “I have come to feel this more deeply, that truth lives within me and can never be lost or truly forgotten – and that my awareness of and connection to truth only ever depends on the choices I make in each moment”.

  205. Absolutely Linda, it’s a call to not delay and to trust what is being shared from within as it is wisdom from our true lived way.

  206. “I could feel it in my whole body; I felt it as a “yes”. When I first heard a presentation by Serge Benhayon I knew and felt in my body that I was hearing the full truth as it all just made sense. The truth is held in the Ageless Wisdom and lived in the Way of The Livingness.

  207. ‘I have come to feel this more deeply, that truth lives within me and can never be lost or truly forgotten – and that my awareness of and connection to truth only ever depends on the choices I make in each moment.’ This is so true Sarah, our truth depends on the quality in which we live.

  208. Truth has no games, no agenda and no complication it is just truth, and I know it because if I have been living disconnected when I hear truth it stops me in my tracks and there are no buts, no ifs. There’s a clarity and lightness in my body and all the hoohah stops.

  209. Truth is tangible, it does not bring any disturbance to my body, it flows through unimpeded whereas an untruth brings a disturbance to my body and I can feel this change within.

  210. It was wonderful to reread this blog today and be reminded that the truth is there always accessible to everyone equally. Perhaps the hardest thing to grasp of everything presented by Universal Medicine even though I have deeply felt it as the truth, is that we are spending enormous amounts of energy trying to convince ourselves we don’t know truth and must depend on others or events outside us to connect to love. It is utterly false way of being, for which I will spend no more time chastising myself over :-).

  211. So beautifully expressed Sarah, truth lives within us all, we only need to connect to our inner heart and there it is, this inner knowing, that knows with every fibre of our being, or bones.

  212. I love your words Sarah “I now find myself deepening my understanding and feeling of truth, with no need to ” hold on” or ” keep it” or have fear of losing it – for how can I lose something that is living inside of me?! A great reminder of this truth, thank you.

  213. On rereading your blog Sarah I lingered over the following, struck by the truth of what you expressed;
“When I reflect on this moment I feel a confirmation that truth connects us more deeply to who we already are, which for me is akin to a ‘deep knowing’ that is always there: any truth, when felt, does this”

  214. Truth can actually be felt, just this absolute pearl of wisdom and understanding, if embraced understood and acted upon by humanity, will be enough to arrest the tsunami of unconsciousness sweeping the planet now.

    1. Absolutely cjames2012 well said. Most of the time truth is sought by the mind and discussed from the mind and feeling truth is not even considered.

  215. This is really a revelatory definition of truth, truth as something that connects me deeper with what I am, my innermost. Brilliant, Sarah. It’s like looking in a mirror and depending on how I have been with myself I feel drawn to what I see or I reject it.

  216. Exactly Sara “for how can I lose something that is living within me?!” To my experience we can only forget that we have that connection with the Ageless Wisdom but once faced again with that reflection of truth and wisdom that equally resides in us, it responses immediately as a knowing felt from the bones, as it was always patiently waiting there to be rediscovered and acknowledged to be there.

  217. An awesome blog, each line a standalone truth. But the stand-out one has to be, ‘I am responsible for the quality of my life.’ This we know in our bones, whether we like to hear it or not. Fight it or deny it, we know it’s true.

  218. It is deeply empowering to know that through our choices and commitment to honour the connection to the truth within, we are ultimately responsible for the quality of our lives and what unfolds from here forth.

  219. Thank you Sara, this so beautifully written, thank you for deepening my understanding of truth. “I can feel it in my bones’. That is, we know truth because it lives within us. When we feel truth, we are really feeling ourselves.”

  220. I love this blog Sarah, you share very clearly the power of truth and how as you say, we know truth because it lives within us. When we feel truth, we are really feeling ourselves. Absolutely, how amazing are we?

  221. Sarah your words ‘I have come to feel this more deeply, that truth lives within me and can never be lost or truly forgotten – and that my awareness of and connection to truth only ever depends on the choices I make in each moment.’ I have found that my choices are very much either based on what is truth, or a manipulation of the truth, and that it is very dependent on how I have been living and the choices I have been making. That which isn’t truth causes a great drain and exhaustion to my body, and true truth resonates loudly within my body confirming and expanding.

  222. Beautiful Sarah, what I really got from your blog is a sense of appreciation of truth in our bodies. As you described here: On a daily basis therefore, through the choices I am making to listen to my body – literally to ‘feel it in my bones’ – I am experiencing the truth that lives within me. This is a constant unfolding with an immeasurable depth of love, joy and glory.” It gave me such rich understanding of that truth is indeed living in me that when once recognized – it is an instant depth of love, joy and glory! By you writing this it re-unites and marks the truth in my body if I truly let in the words you say.

  223. I was recently asked how did I know that I was was meant to be with my husband (we have been married for 18 years). At first I found it hard to put words to the feeling because the answer was that I just knew. Every cell in my body knows that we are meant to be together, when I met him when I was 19 years old I knew we could do more as a team than as individuals and we were meant to be a team. It’s not romantic but it is a deep deep knowing.

    1. This is beautiful Nicole because it’s genuine, real and love, knowing that you and your husband being together was for more than just you two. I’ve been with my husband since 15 and people would think it was so odd to not ‘play the field’ (awful saying but that was what was implied) but there is so much more to two people coming together or 4 or 20 or 100’s than what our minds can fathom. As Sarah has shared we know truth from our bodies.

      1. So true Aimee I understand now through the work I have studied at Universal medicine that this knowing is not just reserved for my husband it is there equally for anyone I cross paths with.

  224. That truth can be felt, that we can recognize the resonance of true wisdom, that our inner heart is able to define and know what is true and what is not, this by itself is a testimony to the truth that we are indeed aligned to the divine, and that all we have to do is to reconnect to ourselves, and with this reconnection we can recommence the journey back to our true nature.

  225. It is just as simple as you say Sarah, “we know truth because it lives within us” and indeed we do not have to fear that we lose it as it lives within us. How completely different to how I have been brought up and educated. I was taught a way of life where I had to learn how to live life in the way people told me life was about and to look for answers to life outside of me. How different would my life have been if instead I was inspired to connect to what I already know, because it lives in my body? And how different would the world be when all children would be inspired to do so and grow up in that knowing?

  226. Perfect timing for me to read this piece on truth. I recently found myself in a situation where one version of ‘truth’ was put against another version, trying to justify itself, deny and crush the other – through misinterpretation and manipulation. It felt horrible in my body. There was arrogance and self-righteousness. Expressing truth-fully is an ongoing unfoldment for me.

  227. Truth is in us all, which makes it sometimes so easy, when we can be honest, to see that what is not truth. As from all that is true we are rediscovering our own inner knowing.

  228. If truth is something that confirms who I am then I can see that any rejection of truth is really a rejection that I am a part of something beyond my comprehension, surrendering and acceptance offers an expansion and a willingness to allow more to be revealed. The depths are indeed glorious at each point of contact and it is joyful to know and feel in every cell of my being that I am not alone.

  229. Albert Einstein said everything is energy. This is truth one can immutably feel. Energy can change but you can’t destroy it… but truth never changes. It is a constant like the sun rising in the east and setting in the west. It always feels familiar in our body. We may try to forget about this connection we all have but real truth will always re-connect us to ourselves.

  230. There is such a sense of home coming when I feel truth. I loved your comment Sarah that we are really just feeling ourselves when we connect with truth. It seems so ridiculous that I chose to separate in the first place and that I make remaining connected to my truth so complex when it is really something simple!!!

    1. Yes, yes yes Helen! You know what is gorgeous is that what everyone is sharing in the comments resonates with everyone because it is truth… we all know it 🙂

  231. When I hear Truth I know it instantly. I feel it but as you say Sara it’s deeper than that, for me there’s an absoluteness to what I feel. Any other options, arguments, possibilities evaporate so that I am left with this absolutely still, rock solid feeling and my whole body nods.

    1. Oh I know that feeling Lucy, thank you for putting it into words. I never felt this with any new age modality I tried, I was always in my head and I would walk away with a whole lot of words but an empty feeling in my body. I have only ever found Universal Medicine speaks everyone’s lingo… truth speaking to the truth of our essence.

  232. ‘like the ‘walls’ of my body spread out and touched everything around me’ It is this what truth is doing, we remember by feeling it deeply in ourselves that we are always a part of the whole and every particle in our body is coming alive and expands, a never ending evolution.

  233. Your words feel full of truth to me Sarah, it is a beautiful experience to read them here and actually let myself feel truth in my body. What you say explains how it can sometimes be a struggle to feel. It’s not actually difficult at all, but there are bits of life we try to avoid and remove. You can’t do that with truth. For as you say it flows simply inside us all, deep to our very core.

  234. “Upon hearing the truth in her words, I felt more complete, whole, more connected to a sense of the depths of me”.
What a beautiful divine feeling to deeply feel the inner knowing, the inner wisdom.
What a gorgeous connection with another when they deliver something you know to be true. A wonderful moment of expansion.

  235. A very important understanding expressed here that all we miss is our connection to the truth we already know. It is a great marker for all the times we feel there is something in our lives missing and seek to look outside for it.

  236. It feels really so relieving and great to feel the truth and to express it. I have denied my truth most of my life and since I stopped that I feel light and free and my body is not under a strong tension anymore.

  237. Sarah, your sharing here feels in some lines like a prayer to me. As I read it out loud to myself, I could feel the truth in your words as a vibration in my voice and also like a call, as you wrote too in your last sentence. It is so interesting, as English is not my 1. language, that this doesn’t matter to feeling the truth in words. So truth is beyond a language, more like a special frequency coming through words. I love the words you have found, to describe how it feels to feel the truth in your body: “I could feel it in my whole body; I felt it as a “yes, I know that”. There was a feeling akin to ‘relief’ in my body; of something brought to my awareness that I wasn’t even fully aware I had lost. Upon hearing the truth in her words, I felt more complete, whole, more connected to a sense of the depths of ‘me’.” I will return to this blog again, thank you for it and also for the beautiful sentence: “When we feel truth, we are really feeling ourselves.”

    1. Indeed Stefanie, truth is beyond language and it is an universal language that asks us all equally to be all that we already are and lives deep inside all of us equally so. The different languages in fact only separates us human beings but truth instead is uniting us all to the one truth that we all come from.

  238. When I need clarity of a situation, I always know the answer lies in my body. There is an unshakable knowing, a solid certainty that I cannot deny, even though my mind may fight with this feeling at times. The moment I feel this certainty in my body, then I know the Truth.

  239. Beautifully said Sarah – ‘ truth holds the same quality of that which lives within us, it is an invitation, a ‘call’ to feel all that we truly are’

  240. I can relate to the feeling of feeling truth to my bones or to the core of my very being. Reading this blog I realise just how often in the past I shut down to protect myself from feeling what is not truth because it felt like most of what was around me was not truth. I spent most of my life shut down thinking I was protecting myself. As you say in this blog “truth connects us more deeply to who we really are” no wonder I was lost most of my life. These days I feel it when something is not true but mostly I am able to hold true to myself and my connection and where appropriate call it out. When I feel my true expansion of my connection to myself I have the true me to offer everyone who comes into my path and my truth offers others an opportunity to connect to their truth and vice versa as we pull one another towards evolution.

    1. I can feel that too Margaret, we can only live truth to its full potential when we live it all equally and therefore we have to live and work together in such ways that, in all that we do and in everything that we are, we encourage each other to be equally truthful to one other as we are to ourselves,

  241. ‘When we feel truth, we are really feeling ourselves’ Simple, yet profound, thank you Sarah.

    1. I love this also kehinde2012, when we feel truth, we are really feeling ourselves as truth/love lives in every cell of our bodies.

  242. ‘When we feel truth, we are really feeling ourselves.’ Every ‘light bulb moment’ we have is a little more inside us that has been lit. All you have shared here Sarah lights me up like a christmas tree, thank you.

  243. “I have come to feel this more deeply, that truth lives within me and can never be lost or truly forgotten – and that my awareness of and connection to truth only ever depends on the choices I make in each moment.” This sentence says it all for me as truth is always there within me and it is only a matter of choice moment to moment to reconnect and deepen my relationship with it.

  244. Following on from my earlier comment I wanted to add…
Not only I have I not felt any anxiety or doubt in my body that I will deliver on time. I am very much aware of feeling supported and enjoying my expression in full. How could I mistrust the my body when it so clearly expressed.

  245. Recently I was asked if I would be open to taking on a project, one which would have a time frame which would normally not be achievable. My first response was to read my body, did I react, did I shrink at the prospect… In fact I was very still and there was only a yes response that required no further contemplation. As the project is unfolding I can still feel the trust in the decision and can literally ‘ feel it in my bones’ such is the confirmation from my body.

  246. I will definitely come back to your sharing and I will reread it. In your sharing there is so much to appreciate and to ponder on. I agree with you, in our body there is a part, which knows everything, a wisdom, the mind can’t follow. Thanks for your amazing blog.

  247. What a feeling to truly cherish. To feel something to the bone is something that you cannot deny. When we read something and it makes sense to our minds it is great and appeasing to the intellect but when it is something that we feel so deeply to be true there is never a ‘convincing otherwise’ there is no being ‘talked out of’ because it is so real and so strong and so beautiful.

    1. Yes Natasha I agree and I like to add is if I feel something to the bone also my head is still – there are no thoughts anymore no doubt – no nothing and that is what I like to feel something to the bone.

      1. Your absolutely right, when I feel something to the bone there is no ‘head’ involved. It is almost thoughtless and deeply body oriented. We can feel such depth when we feel from the body. Really great point esteraltmiks.

    2. So true Natasha. The body is the marker of all truth as has been my experience as well. Once it is felt in the body there is a deep knowing that this can be lived.

      1. There is a very deep knowing and a very deep sense of ease, with all the modalities that Universal Medicine has brought through. It is amazing to keep feeling these markers within the body. There is such a big thank you needed for the one who has been willing to let go of so much in life and live more and more from his soul and from his inner light. Inspiring so many to do that same. Thank you Serge Benhayon.

    3. I agree Natasha, feeling a deep truth in the body is a confirmation and feels very different to the dialogue that often goes on in one’s head / mind when we are wanting/trying to believe or convince ourselves of something – as long as we come back to the body, truth will always be known.

      1. Said with such wisdom Angela. The body is so solid when expressing its truth, we just have to live in accordance with the body so we give it the authority to express that solidness and really live from its way. The more we change the way we live to respect and honour the body then more and more solid its expression becomes.

    4. Agreed Natasha – truth received from the mind or intellect and truth received from the body or heart feel totally different! In the same way that they are received differently in the body, so too are they different in the ways they are expressed and the way they feel when expressed.

      1. So true, and my head definitely tells me when it’s working overtime, with a level of pain or discomfort so strong at times. A definite healing within itself to show me what’s happening in my body. To make a choice to come back to my heart.

    5. Yes Natasha what I always find is that when I know from my body it is an instantaneous feeling. There is no time for my head to even utter a word as my body has already spoken loud and clear.

  248. You connect the quality and the truth factor and this is amazing because it is actually responsibility and truth that allows us to truly feel and fully embrace what is there before us.

  249. I am responsible for the ‘quality’ of my life – it does not get any clearer than that. And all my daily choices, every single one of them will determine the quality in how I express…. in whether I will express my truth or whether I hold my truth back (the suppression harming my body) everything counts.

  250. The wonderful thing about words of truth is that they can be felt… Literally through our whole bodies… This may seem a strange comment, but it is possible to connect with our bodies in such a deep and profound way that the innate intelligence of the body and the heart can be tuned into and give us such an insight into the energetic interplay that is happening all around us

  251. ‘I now find myself deepening my understanding and feeling of truth, with no need to ‘hold on’ or ‘keep it’, or have a fear of losing it – for how can I lose something that is living within me?!’ When we need to hold on to something it never comes from truth but is making it about right and wrong which is very far from truth. As you say truth, we feel it in our bones

  252. Thank you Sarah. I sometimes doubt that I have this wonderful capacity to feel when I read blogs like yours. Yet “how can I lose something that is living within me?!”. At times I am indeed very aware of the energy and how my body feels and knows what is right. So I am working on maintaining this connection to myself, focusing on the heart not the head.

  253. ‘On a daily basis therefore, through the choices I am making to listen to my body – literally to ‘feel it in my bones’ – I am experiencing the truth that lives within me. This is a constant unfolding with an immeasurable depth of love, joy and glory.’ Beautiful and very recognizable These days the devastating effects to my well being when I don’t listen to my body become more more and more visible.

  254. When I do something which does feel right, there is an inner feeling or voice telling me so and the same if I do something for a true purpose, I ask myself if what is presented to me is true or not, my body will align to it and everything will flow accordingly.

  255. Sarah I love the way you describe the feeling of knowing. I have found that throughout my life there have been things that I know to be true, without a doubt. One such moment was when I first attended a workshop by Universal Medicine. Some of the information was very new to me and shook up previously held ideas, but deep inside it resonated and I knew it to be true. Likewise when someone gives me feedback that is true, there is a feeling of expansion (accompanied often by discomfort) and I am stronger in my confidence in myself.

  256. I also recall the first time I met Serge Benhayon and had a session with him. Some things he told me were right out of left field at the time, but my body resonated and there was nothing I felt I could do to refute them. I accepted… and the most miraculous healing took place. My life has never been the same since, and I have come to learn that it is through my body that truth is felt and known, and that many times it doesn’t make sense to my logical head, or more pertinently, to my want for it to be otherwise.

  257. Very powerful and deeply touching Sarah, I love what you share and how unifying it feels as you discover the inner depths of yourself in your own truth, but bringing the rest of us along with you as the same. I also love what you state that this gives you..’a tremendous sense of freedom to truly know that I am responsible for the quality of my life.’ The ultimate responsibility for what we have, and how we find ourselves in life.

  258. So beautifully said Sarah, “how can we loose something that lives within us” There is a deep inner knowing of the absoluteness of what we feel when we feel truth.

  259. Thank you Sarah, Truth is the most natural way of being for us and one that the body recognises and say ‘Yes’ to. – ‘It is our body which instantly delivers this knowing, giving weight to that old adage ‘I can feel it in my bones’. That is, we know truth because it lives within us. When we feel truth, we are really feeling ourselves.’

  260. What an invitation Sarah.
I also like how you wrote “where a possibility had been presented to me which I felt instantly and deeply as a truth, and one, which is often the case, that started my head spinning – a sign that old beliefs were being shaken.”
For me this is so true, I can often have a physical reaction in my body and head when old beliefs or ways of thinking that haven’t been so supportive in my life are revealed to be the falsities they are. The feeling of warmth and expansion, the aha, “I already know” this moment, which accompanies truth is the most delicious feeling in this world.

    1. Truth feels delicious! Yes Jeanette. Sarah you have described the knowingness of truth in our bodies so clearly, and as other bloggers have expressed, when we are presented with truth, or speak it ourselves, or when we nominate something true to ourselves, it feels expansive, it feels warm, it feels like coming home to who we really are.

  261. This is very powerful to know as with that we only have to practice to listen to our body and feel. And since our body is always with us we have every moment to learn about and get to know our body. Thus being able to live with and express truth in every moment.

  262. Once we feel the truth and once we know the truth we can never undo it. It resides in us, and we “can feel it in our bones” and our whole being. Such a powerful blog Sarah. Thank you for bringing this to us.

  263. I love this Sarah – ‘On a daily basis therefore, through the choices I am making to listen to my body – literally to ‘feel it in my bones’ – I am experiencing the truth that lives within me. This is a constant unfolding with an immeasurable depth of love, joy and glory.’

  264. Thank you Sarah, a great reminder that truth never leaves us, we just have difficulty sometimes connecting to it. I am now more aware of the responsibility I have for my own truth and connecting to it.

    1. Yes well said Sally, truth never leaves us and while in the past I would have said I have difficulty connecting to it too, these days l’m more inclined to ask why I choose not to be aware of it. That I find more helpful in shifting the ‘difficulty’ connecting.

  265. I love this Sarah. It knocks so much out of feeling we need to be somewhere or get somewhere to know more. In actual fact we have started out as all-knowing and simply now need to re-choose that way of being. Having the tools to do this, as presented by Universal Medicine, I would agree has been life-changing and invaluable. This is a consistency I am forever building, and love doing so, as a student of life.

    1. “In actual fact we have started out as all-knowing and simply now need to re-choose that way of being.” yes thats the way.

  266. The amazingness of simply connecting to our bodies and the truth that it holds. We are walking around looking for answers and love and yet the very thing that we are walking around in but choose not to acknowledge, is the very vehicle that holds everything that we need. It’s like walking around with your glasses on your head, and then searching for them, when all the time they are with you.

  267. When I lose myself the only thing that brings me back is feeling the quality of my body. It might not feel amazing all the time, but it will always bring me back to my truth. My body is my anchor, without which I would be a leaf in the wind, blown whichever way. This truth is not a place of hiding but a place from where I express and share, because it is all of ours.

  268. When I loose my connection to my inner knowing I feel lost, lost in the world and in my own body, not knowing where to go ‘From this I realise that the only ‘thing’ I am ever truly missing is my connection to this knowing, and nothing more. Truth then acts as a bridge or connector of sorts to the quality – this knowing – that is within me’ Beautiful Sarah, thank you for your wise words.

  269. I feel deeply touched by what you say, Sarah. It is in my responsibility which quality my life has, on which base I set up my life. Simply by accepting free will, feeling into the body and making choices based on that what feels true to the bones.

  270. I can relate to your love affair with the truth Sarah. There is an absoluteness with the truth, it brings clarity and understanding to situations and can’t be argued with, it can also expose when our choices haven’t come from a heartfelt intention so can seem hard to digest at times.

  271. Don’t you just Suse. The way all of those little cells inside fire up, it feels like a mini conga dance inside you. So, very lovely to feel.

  272. I love that truth speaks to the deepest knowing part of us and that we can awaken this knowing just by allowing ourselves to feel.

  273. I do know and can feel truth but I don’t always act on it. It is the letting go of all that gets in the way of this pure impulse to action that is required. Letting go of the ‘struggles of the human being’.

  274. ” … I felt it as a “yes, I know that”. There was a feeling akin to ‘relief’ in my body; … ”
Thank you Sarah, for so clearly sharing the effect of truth on and in your body … it’s a ‘relief’ in my body to have this confirmed, and for my mind to not be able to (once again), try to dismiss it.

  275. So much joy I connected with in this article thank you Kevin. It reflects how your personal experience of knowing truth, comes with a trust that we all know truth.

  276. Yes, the body is the marker of the truth, as you say we have to listen to our body to get a deeper understanding of what is ahead of us.

  277. Kevmchardy I had the same experience when I first attended a presentation by Serge. I did not even understand much of what was presented, my head was reeling so. The other most powerful moment was when I observed him cleaning the hand basin in his old clinic. The absolute stillness and presence (I didn’t have those words at the time) and honouring way he performed this mundane task shouted a large truth that I felt, but could not express in words at that time. So yes Sarah, truth is felt in the body and understood in a deeper way than the mind can imagine.

  278. I love this way of looking at truth and it really confirms to me the memory of the first time I saw Serge Benhayon presenting a workshop, I did not know at the time how I knew, but I knew this man was speaking and coming from a truth that I had not heard before, I guess I could just feel it in my bones.

    1. What you’ve shared here Kevmchardy reminds me too of the first time I heard Serge Benhayon speak and the experience was one of knowing deep within without a doubt that he was speaking truth and feeling – as Sarah has said – that sense of relief and my body settling into itself, into that much deeper place.

      1. I love what you share here deborahmckay about that sense of relief and my body settling into itself, into that much deeper place, as that is exactly how it felt for me also.

      2. This was my experience too and I agree with what you have described as the feeling of relief, I guess a relief from ‘ending the search’ for what we had always been searching for…ourselves.

    2. Yep me too Kev – my mind struggled with a few things the first time I heard Serge Benhayon present but my body was going OH YEAH – THIS IS IT. I could feel it in my bones for sure.

      1. Yes, same here, my first workshop with Serge Benhayon I could feel: this is it, I don’t have to go anywhere else anymore, no more searching, it felt like coming home.

      2. My body was speaking so loudly to me that first workshop with a surrender to what Serge presented, there was no place for my head or thoughts to override what my body was telling me: what Serge says is the truth you recognize, because you have it inside you as well.

  279. Truth is so obviously living in my body, that whenever I don’t express it, my body gets sick – immediately. What a dear and good friend the body is!

  280. This is so powerful Sarah, it reminded me of the fact that I too know truth, as we all do, and for me it is that feeling of solidness, that affirming feeling that when I stand in it confirms all that I am. I do not waiver when I connect to it, it is familiar, known and true. I can feel how much it is a choice to connect to myself in this way and that in every moment I too can choose truth.

  281. This blog really highlights the importance of expression. What another person has said, as truth, led to these wonderful discoveries for you Sarah, and it’s a big reminder to us all – expressing truth really makes a difference in the world.

  282. “Truth then acts as a bridge or connector of sorts to the quality – this knowing – that is within me”
As you said Sarah, we are all responsible for feeling and expressing the truth that is felt in our bodies.
Thank you for this gentle reminder to, in every moment, feel the truth.

  283. When we feel something is true we surrender to the fact immediately. There is no fight. It cannot be since every cell in our body confirms it. It is a moment where we pause and allow ourselves to feel more complete. I can totally relate to the feeling of relief that is actually not relief at all but a moment when we sigh as we register deeply how much we missed what we have just felt and how much we belong to that. Sometimes, truth comes to us via the spoken word. Sometimes, it just come to us when we open to a possibility and feel what happens. It does not matter how we get it but the fact that when we get it we recognise it clearly and we can only do this when this is something we recognise as deeply natural, familiar. That feeling in the body is the confirmation that what we felt as true is indeed true.

  284. Connecting to the Truth that lives within is the foundation for who we are in essence … anything else is not who we are but just imposed ideals and beliefs. We are unfolding and through each choice to feel our Truth we reveal more of our Divine nature.

  285. Thank you Sarah, what you have shared is truly beautiful. The truth lives innately within us, it’s alive. When we connect and express from this truth it not only puts us more deeply with in touch ourselves but I have found it also helps me to feel that deep connection I have with others and the world around me, there is a spherical oneness in truth that captures the all.

  286. There is a very power message in this blog. The truth is always with in us it is our choice the responsibility is our in every moment to connect and feel it it or not.

  287. Feeling and expressing truth is one of the loveliest ways to connect to ourselves. Indeed it is a way where we can feel the surrendering of our bodies–like an internal loving massage–that just feels oh so amazing. Awesome blog to read and feel Sarah.

    1. I can attest to that fully Adele. The surrender and openness I feel in my body, in my whole being is exquisite when I let myself feel what is true. In that truth there is no judgement, no critique, only love and truth that holds me so tenderly calling me to let love in and expand.

    2. ‘Feeling and expressing truth is one of the loveliest ways to connect to ourselves.’ This is my experience too, nothing like a good dose of truth either from myself or another to bring me back into full connection with myself.

  288. Truth is the thing that makes us connect to who we truly are, there are so many things that are not true. But we know it immediately when something is true and then we can connect to that and how we are living on a deeper level.

  289. Wow Sarah this is a whole new way of looking, or should I say feeling the truth. I am learning to feel my own truth and connect to the fact that it never leaves me which is something that makes me wonder why I ever lost the contact in the first place. Although as you say it is never lost.

  290. Very powerful Sarah. This really jumped out at me – ‘we know truth because it lives within us. When we feel truth, we are really feeling ourselves.’ I love this because for me I have found that truth always confirms who we are in essence, with our bodies being our divine markers. At times I have found this challenging as in doing so it also exposes the truth of what we are not and how much we have invested in this – the what we, in truth, are not. Thank you for reflecting so beautifully in truth the joy and glory that we are and can live.

    1. Beautifully said Carola, the fact that our essence only knows truth means that our body will always register when something is in alignment with this, and when something is not (aka something that isn’t true). In order to access this, we need to make choices that allow us to recognise what our body is telling us. This can mean being prepared to examine and renounce investments we have in roles, ideas and systems that were never true but we said ‘yes’ to as a means of getting through life without rubbing up against old hurts.

    2. Beautifully expressed Carola and Sarah. Going about our lives disconnected from truth and ourselves (because it is one and the same) is choosing to live a life that will inevitably have drama and complication, and never ending pursuits of all sorts to quell a constant feeling emptiness. We are made to know truth because as you say Sarah, it resides within us.

  291. Sarah, I know what you speak of, I know truth when I feel it, yes I can react to it, but the truth is I’m actually reacting to the knowing that I’ve not been living that truth (which I’ve always known), so really it’s always there, just ready and waiting for me to connect to it. And the conduit is my body – my body knows when something is true or not, if I stop and allow myself to feel it. The truth is always there, and it opens up everything, life makes sense on a whole other level, my body is included, if I exclude it I’m not in truth.

  292. “When I reflect on this moment I feel a confirmation that truth connects us more deeply to who we already are”, I love this line. It’s how I feel about Serge Benhayon’s work, and why I keep coming back. It is truth that connects us back to who we truly are.

  293. I love the feeling when truth resonates in my body. Even if it is an uncomfortable truth or even an ouch moment, I still love that my body recognises it and clocks it as a knowing. Beautifully shared Sarah.

  294. It is so simple… Truth can actually be felt. Words of truth have a livingness, a quality of being alive, a feeling of being resonant, whole, congruent, And in the absence of all of these aspects, there is simply that… an absence that can never be filled no matter how seemingly profound the words are.

  295. Thank you Sarah, the vibration of truth is very difrent to what we feel when it is not truth, and the fact that truth lives within us, made me think of how hard we work at burying that truth. When we live that truth life is far more simple.

  296. “Having the simple and practical tools to reconnect to who I naturally am has been so absolutely wonderful and brings me a tremendous sense of freedom to truly know that I am responsible for the quality of my life.”
Beautiful Sarah, there is a magnificent sense of freedom once we know that we alone are responsible for the quality of our lives, it is very empowering knowing our quality depends entirely on the choices we make, especially when we make loving ones.

  297. Our bodies naturally sense truth or not, it is either an expansion or a contraction. And I learn to discern more and more as I let my body be my guide.

  298. I enjoyed your blog Sarah, it certainly resonated with me as I read it. I love how you describe this feeling as being “..confirmation that truth connects us more deeply to who we already are.” Your blog reminds us of the need to deepen that connection with ourselves.

  299. The simplicity of knowing from our bodies what is truth and what is not truth is mind blowing, literally, we cannot know with our minds what is true. Choosing to come back to truth is one of the most loving and real choices any person can make. Thank you Serge Benhayon for presenting Truth when really most of what we are shown and taught as kids and adults is the opposite of true.

  300. This is awesome Sarah. When I feel a truth I feel like part of me comes alive. It is a deeper part of us that now has permission to out. This is a really remarkable blog I’m coming back to it again 🙂

    1. I recognize that Harry, how my body just fires up when I speak from my body (and therefore from truth) or when someone else is presenting truth to me.

  301. Great distinction you make Sarah between something that makes sense intellectually that we know is the truth and when the truth is felt throughout the whole body. This is not to dismiss the first kind but to say it is the second kind that really counts when truth is lived and known to the bone. There are many things I know that I don’t doubt to be true so it is the shift to living and choosing these truths consistently that has my interest.

  302. Yes. When truth is truly spoken we can feel it in our bones. On the flip side when something is said that is not true we feel that too. It is for us to know and understand what truth feels like when it is felt in our bodies. That way we are able to discern more clearly when we are being told something with no truth whatsoever even if it may ‘sound’ good.

  303. Gorgeous blog, I just loved the living truth I felt when reading it, and this line really stood our for me: ‘ and that my awareness of and connection to truth only ever depends on the choices I make in each moment. Thank you Sarah.

  304. Truth can be felt in the body, it is a certain quality of feeling as you shared Sarah. By placing my focus on the body more and more I am learning what is true and what is not true for me. The more I acknowledge and qualify these feelings the more I understand what is true and what is not.

  305. The Truth is one unified and true for everyone equally, yet, some have awareness to feel it in the body and accept it, and some don’t, some want to believe their opinions are the truth. If I am not connected with myself, I wobble. If I am connected, it’s right there for me to surrender to. Your blog reminds me how important it is for me to keep my connection with the body constantly and consistently so that I have the awareness to recognise the marker of truth in my body at every moment.

  306. Sarah I appreciate what you have written , I feel it in my body. This is such an important statement you make “I am responsible for the quality of my Life”. It has taken me a long time to fully grasp this concept and live it. Listening to my body and how it feels for me is a work in progress.

  307. I love your analogy of truth like an old friend – there really is such a joy and steadiness when we are feeling this truth in our bodies again.

  308. Very deep knowing Sarah your words are like sunshine for me – they lightened up my way of living and reflect to me what I also know deep inside of me. Truth is without a doubt something what every human being can feel in their bodies and the way you describe it in your amazing blog helps to get more aware of it again.

  309. It is a great reminder that truth is always within, and through the choices we make in every moment, we can connect to it – we don’t have to ‘do’ anything or ‘try’, it just is. Thank you Sarah.

  310. Feeling the truth in ones body completely turns upside down the notion of having to evaluate something using our beliefs and ideals that we have adopted and calculated in our heads. I’m learning how accurate our bodies are and how prone to misinterpretation the mind can be.

  311. How true Sarah “I am responsible for the quality of my life”. There is much depth to this statement and removes any sense of blame or judgement on self or others and places the emphasis on the quality we live in everyday. This is everything.

  312. I find it fascinating that even if we are more than this flesh we live in it is the flesh – or the body – that we need to feel all that we are and can be as human beings. I’ve been a bit arrogant about this but am starting to realise that it’s all about the body, because through this body I can express the love I hold within me, and it will not break.

  313. Hi Sarah, As I read this blog I could feel a real opening in my body as it felt the truth in your words and its like my body just said ‘yes’ I know this. Thank you

  314. Great blog Sarah, so real that truth is within us all and connecting to it depends on the choices we make

  315. A great reminder Sarah that we are everything that we need in any moment and when we are looking outside of ourselves, we have disconnected form everything that we are. Then it’s us that we are missing. We are in truth never lost.

  316. ‘ I felt more complete, whole, more connected to a sense of the depths of ‘me’.’ I love that solid steady feeling inside when my body shows me truth.

  317. This is so beautiful to read and feel the truth in my bones with all you say and the knowing from this . I love how you expressed the feeling of hearing and connecting to truth in our bodies and the guidence we have from this when connected to ourselves truly.Thank you Sarah a real gift to treasure and share with everyone.

  318. Sarah, you named it. Truth is something we can feel in the body – when it opens like a flower, surrendering to what was heard or seen or felt by touch. Read….In whatsoever form expressed. It is the instant “yes” that’s coming up. Not from the brain but from the physical – the true mirror, the amazing gift we have – our bodies.

  319. Absolute gorgeous article about living the truth and reconnecting to it. Love how you present truth as being there and we just have to build a body of love to connect to it. This is so true and eliminates all this right and wrongs about who is holding the truth. Truth just is, it is not owned by anybody, it is just what it is, truth, and we can choose to connect to it or not!

  320. There’s no denying when you feel truth In your body, is there Sarah, all of those little cells in your body just come alive, almost like their doing a little conga dance inside you, and you feel as you say, like the ‘walls’ of my body spread out and touch everything around me. So spacious and alive, so lovely to feel.

  321. Thank you for the reminder and demonstration that truth lives within, just waiting to be felt and expressed.

  322. Truth to me equates to love, and when I exchanged the words your article resonated deeply within me, it was truly a joy to read, thank you Sarah.

  323. I have used this ‘saying’ on occasions and love it – ‘I can feel it in my bones’, there is a realness about it. The power of this ‘saying’ has now been more truly felt and has just been re-imprinted for me. The truth just resonates with all that we are, deeply so. Simple really. Thank you Sarah

  324. On my return to this blog what jumped out at me was the fact that the energy of truth calls for/inspires the truth in another to meet it. I can listen to the same Universal Medicine audio on repeat and everytime I can hear something seemingly new in that moment. What this also highlights to me is that the way I move my body is my key as it were to truth. For example years ago when I first heard about self-care none of it made any sense to fobbing it off as downright crazy, but thats because I was living in a way that had no self-care. But when I started to live in a more caring way with myself and my body those presentations made more and more sense – the way I started to move and be with my body allowed me to feel the truth in the words. This has given me much to consider and experiment further with in terms of how am I when presented with truth – open and willing or are there still parts of me and movements still keeping me unaware of feeling that the truth before me is also within me. Thank you Sarah.

  325. Beautifully said Sarah. Puts another understanding on what truth actually means. It is not just about making sense to us but actually unlocking, one could say, and letting out a deeper connection to who we are within.

  326. Sarah, it is beautiful how you shared, so simply, the truth of how we know truth from the resonance we feel in our bodies with it.

  327. I have to say I had this feeling of truth the first time I saw Serge Benhayon presenting. I’m not sure how I managed to feel it as I was so numbed out at the time, but none the less I did, and that just goes to show like love, the truth never leaves us, we just sometimes need someone to remind us of it. Thanks Sarah for this reminder.

    1. I feel the same Kevin. The truth never leaves us, we just bury it so we don’t have to take responsibility even though it feels terrible to do this. It’s an extraordinary conundrum when we all know ‘the truth will set us free’, and its pandemic.

  328. Sarah, thank you for a gorgeous reminder, as you say, truth and love are always there in us, it’s just our choices that allow us to confirm that or not. Wow, I can choose to confirm the love I am or not, I love that reading this has reminded me all over again.

    1. It is such a reminder, feeling truth and love are fundamental to us all and how empowering is it to feel that this is innately within us all, and it is a choice, as you say Monica, to confirm that or not, confirm if we are love or not. It is quite simple really.

      1. Yes raegankcairney – the feeling of our body is the key to our truth. We can make up a lot of things but at the end of the day, it is up to us, if we want to feel our truth in our body or not. It is our choice.

    2. Monica, that deeply brings up the joy in me of how we can truly listen to our body (and truth) and follow it up ! It is actually really simple. As this article so beautifully represents: We cannot loose truth, because it is there within us – it has never gone.

  329. Sarah, I love how you describe your experience of reconnection with the truth within like ‘being reunited with an awesome old friend whom I’d lost contact with a long time ago and forgotten about – but remembered instantly when I heard (saw) them again…..we were more powerful together than apart’. It is incredible really that we can be separated from something that lives within us in the first place, but I can see that for me the choice to ‘turn the volume’ down on ‘my friend’ was a gradual thing – a series of little choices made over a lifetime that compounded as I allowed life to wear me down and submit to being its puppet. But now, while it has been challenging at times to let go of my dependency on the marionette strings, the call to return to the truth that I know so well in my body is stronger. We are here to live our truth in full and not someone else’s. My friend the truth has been waiting ever so patiently for me to return.

  330. “When we feel truth, we are really feeling ourselves.” What an amazing confirmation of ourselves, then, to feel truth and, thence, oneself.
I also love your beautifully commonsensical comment of ” How can I lose something that is living within me?” So well said, Sarah: thank you.

  331. What you have shared resonates as truth to me Sarah! I really appreciate your blog and love the feeling you mention of expansion when truth is felt and heard. Feeling it in my bones is where its at.

  332. I love what you have shared here Sarah “we know truth because it lives within us”. It does become something we feel in our bodies, an inner knowing. What a beautiful reminder to feel that and deepen that awareness and connection with our bodies.

  333. “Truth then acts as a bridge or connector of sorts to the quality – this knowing – that is within me.”
I had never conceptualised truth in that way previously but it makes perfect sense now. Therefore, subscribing or believing in anything that is not truth seriously blocks us from connecting to who we are, period. Wow!

  334. Wow Sarah, this is an amazing article, I feel deeply inspired by this, it is wonderful to remember that truth lives within us, ‘I can feel it in my bones’. That is, we know truth because it lives within us.’

  335. amazing blog Sarah. As I was reading it i felt very deeply connected to what you were saying, and feel this as truth in my body as well. What i loved was how you presented that when we hear a truth or feel it in our bodies, it feels like the walls of our bodies expand and touch all around us. this is such a beautiful description. Truth just is, and it if it doesn’t have this expanding quality then it simply is not truth.

    1. What a beautiful blog Sarah- like Harry, I could feel your description of truth as you described it.

  336. I really enjoyed rereading your post – building a body and consistency in life to be connected and aware of the truth the best as possible is my absolute focus .

    1. That’s fantastic Steffi. Your dedication to what I also know to be true is highlighting for me how I am not always so consistent and I can slip in and out of my connection. I am inspired by your words, and Sarah’s too of course, to build a body of love and consistency that will support my connection and knowing as in truth there really isn’t any better way to be. If we don’t, then why we don’t is very worth exploring.

  337. Sarah this is very powerful: “no need to ‘hold on’ or ‘keep Truth’, or have a fear of losing it – for how can I lose something that is living within me?!”

  338. It is beautiful to feel truth and to know truth. To hear truth spoken is a blessing.

  339. So true Sarah. Its such a different and distinct feeling when we know something because it comes to our awareness from within us and when we know something because we have heard it somewhere else before. “We know truth because it lives within us” and “…when we feel truth, we are really feeling ourselves.’ How divine.

  340. Hi Sarah a real stop moment for me when I read ‘When we feel truth, we are really feeling ourselves.’ Of course but I never thought of it before! thanks

  341. Yes, this blog is a great reminder that truth lives within us and can never be lost. It is simply a choice to connect to truth and this morning reading this has stirred something in me giving me an opportunity to feel or not to feel. Thank you Sarah for another inspiring blog.

  342. Sarah, I so connected to where you said: “… felt like being reunited with an awesome old friend whom I’d lost contact with a long time ago and forgotten about – but remembered instantly when I heard (saw) them again”. There is an immense power, beauty and joy in re-uniting with that old friend – The knower of Truth.

  343. Thanks Sarah, I can so relate to the difference of knowing something to be true intellectually to feeling the truth resonate in my body. For me it is like my cells come alive or get washed or revitalized by a truth. I can even be speaking the very same words I used when I thought I knew it but when I have felt it in my body first I then become an authority of that truth.

  344. It is so beautiful when we feel truth. For me it is a whole body experience, whereby I become more expansive, and have an awareness that on some level I too, knew that truth.

  345. Thank you Sarah I have just reread this at an entirely different deeper level and feel the truth of all you say in my bones too! Beautiful and inspiring I love it.

  346. Thank you Sarah. Recognising truth when it is spoken is an essential awareness for this era. Words have become so corrupted that we need this recognition, and with it comes a great freedom because truth is known and felt.

    1. Truth is known and felt, beautifully said. The only thing is, what do we do with it? Do we listen to it or do we ignore it?

  347. Thank you Sarah. Yes bones know the truth as does the body. Where as the mind only thinks it does! How beautiful that the body is always with us, it is then our responsibility to always be with it.

  348. Great blog Sarah, we are responsible for the quality in our lives and each choice supports or denies our true quality and we know it. And today you reminded me that truth is always there, it’s something I choose to connect to or not.

  349. Love this post Sara D, and also the analogy of Truth being like a great friend who’s come back into your life realising you’re better together than apart… and then equally realising that you were never really apart because things easily slip back into place as they were as if no time passed. Agree everything is about connection, and our responsibility to remain connected, your words here , “From this I realise that the only ‘thing’ I am ever truly missing is my connection to this knowing, and nothing more”. It is for us to get back to this connection – PRONTO! where we have the joy of instant knowing.

  350. “I have come to feel this more deeply, that truth lives within me and can never be lost or truly forgotten” – Great reminder Sarah. Your article shook some ideals and beliefs for me!

  351. When I feel truth there is a sinking deeper into my body a feeling of being settled and not having to prove myself anymore to be right. Truth just is, and lets you be.

  352. Sarah, I could feel the truth resounding in my body as I read, no, drank in your expression. Every cell in my body was saying YES and I felt a delight that you were expressing what I feel when truth is expressed! It is definitely an expansion and like one more piece of me is placed where it truly belongs to build a greater body of truth. To allow this expansion, another belief and or ideal must be shaken as you say. An awesome read offering here…

  353. “Truth lives within me and can never be lost or truly forgotten – and that my awareness of and connection to truth only ever depends on the choices I make in each moment.”- beautiful daily reminder Sarah. Thank you.

  354. I love what you bring through here Sarah, that the truth is always there living inside us but it is just a matter of connecting with it. This feeling of knowing that truth is equally inside us all just takes away that ‘trying’ to know who we are, and simply just becomes about whether each choice we make keeps us connected or not.

  355. Oh yeah Sarah! I love the feeling of truth as well and when I express truth I feel it in every cell of my body and I feel myself so much more. When on the other hand I express something that is not true I can feel this impact on my body too, I feel more heavy and can get quite stuck. What a great realisation that is, thank you Sarah.

    1. Yes me too Tracy. I loved the line “we know truth because it lives within us”….so true. We do feel it in our bones.

  356. When I met Serge Benhayon I had this absolute feeling of truth for example- like: of course. That’s it. Truth is everything for me and I deeply appreciate my connection to it.

  357. Through my attending presentations and courses from Universal Medicine, I too have re-discovered and learned to trust something that I know has always been there, but dared not fully allow myself to feel, trust. Learning to feel my hurts and clear all the ‘what is NOT me’ so i can RE-connect to all that is me has been deeply rewarding and something that is and will be forever with me, as i have and continue to reclaim what i feel within.

  358. Sarah your blog is amazing! I had these feelings of a deep knowing too, when I discovered Universal Medicine, I just KNEW it was the truth, don’t ask me how I knew, I just felt it to be like a coming home, and an enormous relief that I had found the truth of who I was at last.
And I would like to add – “I feel it in my fingers, I feel it in my toes, I feel it in my body, and with love this feeling grows….”

  359. When we connect to ourselves and our innate truth and bring this to our interractions with others, what a powerful moment that is. A true ‘aahaa’ meeting. Great sharing Sarah.

  360. I totally get what you mean Sarah, the feeling of knowing something in your body, like it is part of you that you have simply forgotten, but have always known. And the awareness or wake up from what another brings to us, is a strong confirmation of the truth we carry in our bodies (if we are but open to receiving it).

  361. There really is a freedom in knowing and feeling the truth. It allows us to be unstuck in our day to day dilemmas and situations we face. We will still have them but it allows us to keep learning and growing.

  362. I know what you mean Sarah about how we can feel the truth right down to our bones. It does leave a lasting impression.

  363. The times I have felt truth it has made a lot of sense. There is always a big Yes that follows as I feel it through my body. It actually feels like my body clears and expands when truth is spoken. Thank you Sarah for a wonderful read. Very inspiring.

  364. Thank you Sarah for this beautiful article. I felt an expansion in my body as I was reading your description of how Truth felt for you.
“When we feel truth we are really feeling ourselves”, I felt confirmation of this as I was reading this blog.

  365. Feeling in my body is a work in progress, I am being more aware of feeling first and then let that feeling filter through my body and not go to my head first. The head only complicates and distorts the first feeling. Thank you Sarah for inspiring words.

  366. What is touched on here about being loved and held in equalness is perhaps the first taste that we may feel of truth. It is actually a very practical thing to say, that without love, there cannot be truth. Love is the opening to another and to oneself, so that equality is deeply felt, in love. Then, what is known from this place, is known equally for all. Thus, truth is always known to be the truth, not a truth, or one of many possible ‘truths’, which keeps us all in our heads, in our ideologies and in separation to each other. As love is all embracing, so does it offer us a capacity to feel truth that is unifying.

  367. Reading your blog is a confirmation for me of my own knowing of what is truth, as you say, you can feel it. For me, I tend to feel it physically as a tingling all over, little goose bumps all over my skin and a chill that reaches my bones.

  368. ‘we all – equally – have the freedom to choose to re-connect to these depths within us’. I love this line. We absolutely all have this choice, many of us don’t want to know that this is in fact a choice and I certainly play the game of not wanting to choose this option when I’m enjoying wallowing and feeling sorry for myself. But it’s there, and it’s patiently standing by for all of us to choose. Life = simple when we choose truth.

  369. Beautifully expressed! and yes the more we choose to connect to our bodies the more we experience that deep knowingness within us all of what truth feels like.

  370. Thank you Sarah. I love the fact that everyone knows truth, its what we do with it that makes the difference.

  371. Awesome sharing Sarah. Thank you for reminding me that connection to the depth within me comes from each and every choice I make.

  372. I love the depth in your writing Sarah, it is very inspiring. ‘My awareness of and connection to truth only ever depends on the choices I make in each moment’ is such a beautiful reminder of the power of our choices, thank you.

  373. Truth lives within me, I only need to connect. I love the way you describe it as this natural and simple state of being. There is no doubt when I choose to connect with who I am, I am truth, and we all are equally so.

  374. ‘”I can feel it in my bones. That is, we know truth because it lives within us. When we feel truth, we are really feeling ourselves”
How awesome it is to really feel ourselves and to be inspired to feel that by another
    Thank you Sarah

  375. I remember when I first heard Serge Benhayon talk it was like coming home to what I already knew to be true like you say Sarah I can feel it in my bones. Thank-you Sara for the wonderful way you have expressed truth.

  376. I really love what you have expressed here Sarah and I too had that feeling in my bones that “yes, this is truth!”. I especially enjoyed the line “we know truth because it lives within us. When we feel truth, we are really feeling ourselves”, how beautiful this is and how familiar it feels, it could be no other way. Thank you for reminding me that the truth that I so often seek already resides within.

  377. I know the feeling so well, the feeling of every cell in my body responding to what it was just presented with. It is unmistakable and a very clear reminder that we all know truth innately, we just forgot how to connect to it. But when someone speaks truth or acts in truth we feel it as it is of the same quality that lives within us; this is what I feel it means when we say something resonates within us.

    1. Like a tuning fork tuning into another, lovely! And when the opposite happens, when someone says something that doesn’t resonate with me, the vibrations clash and it feels awful, and the more sensitive I become in my body the more awful it feels. It comes down to re-awakening, or re-remembering, that innate ability within all us to feel everything, all of the time.

  378. Yes Sarah it is a deep call from within and I love how you make the link between the quality of our connection allowing this to be the way to hear to our bones the truth that is always there to hear.

  379. This is exactly how it is when I experience Serge Benhayons presentations
“I can feel it in my bones” “yes I know that” – a wonderful feeling of truth. Thank you Sarah, I enjoyed your blog

  380. “Upon hearing the truth in her words, I felt more complete, whole, more connected to a sense of the depths of ‘me’.”
I too have this feeling when presented with a truth about myself, for which I am always very grateful and feel it free up my whole body.

  381. Realising that we are responsible for the quality of our own life is a huge revelation in itself. That we can reconnect to a deep knowing of truth that lies innately in all of us is completely life changing. Taking the steps to accept this may feel hard at first due to our many and varied numbing techniques – but just being open to feel is the start. A wonderful sharing Sarah, thank you.

  382. Thank you Sarah, truth to the bone seems like a vision to take us forward to feel our absolute exquisiteness. When I opened to truth the reflection of love from all around felt like a completeness that nurtured my whole being.

  383. I loved the line ‘I am responsible for the quality of my life’, and I am realising more and more that that quality is directly related to how much truth we live and express.

  384. Sarah, this is so profound that truth is always in us, it’s how we choose to live that determines our access to it; it’s all about staying connected to us and choosing to live such that we honour that connection. This article has given me much to consider today. How do I honour the truth of what I feel in each and every moment.

  385. Thank you Sarah for sharing your writing, I am truth and when I live my essence I live truth-fully.

  386. This article resonates deeply with me. The first time I, reluctantly, attended a presentation by Serge Benhayon in London I felt totally disorientated, I had no idea what it was that I heard but just knew I was hearing the truth, I had heard this before and it would change my life. The sentence that stands out for me is “we know truth because it lives within us. When we feel truth, we are really feeling ourselves.”

  387. Sarah I love how you share “the truth is within me” as I have come to feel this in my own body. I too have found it’s my daily choices that impact my level of awareness to feel what is true. I have also noticed that my body doesn’t feel so great when I don’t speak the truth that I have “felt in my bones”.

  388. Sarah, there is much wisdom in what you have expressed. As someone who has grown up very disconnected to my body and heavily relying on my mind to deal with problems and look for solutions, it has been a steep learning curve for me to experience life firstly through understanding the messages my body is relaying. The moments of clarity when I do feel truth are awesome and confirm to me the truth behind what Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine practitioners have been presenting.

  389. Hi Sarah, thank-you for sharing your experiences about feeling life in our bodies. It was not a concept that I easily understood from the outset. I recall looking blankly at my very patient and loving practitioner in the beginning when she would pose the question, ‘what does it feel like in the body?’ I had never been taught to register feelings in the body, up until this point it had been all about what the mind said and dictated. Slowly I have learnt a whole new language, the language of love and truth, its big and its beautiful.

  390. I can feel it in my bones, lovely way of expressing how truth feels like. We just have to connect to our body and honour what it tells us.

  391. Connecting to, living from and expressing in truth is powerful and once experienced in the body is never forgotten. The body is the marker of all truth and lets me know very loudly if I ‘head’ off on a tangent which is not true. Thank Sarah for your sharing, I could feel that marker of truth in every cell of my body as I read.

  392. My experience of truth is similar. When you hear the truth it can be felt, even if I don’t like what is being said or don’t want to hear it, I still feel it as the truth in my body. Conversely, when something untrue is presented, no matter what the supporting arguments are, it never sits right, I don’t feel it as truth in my body. I am learning more and more to trust what I feel in my body.

  393. I have noticed that my mind gets in the way of truth at times as it can try to rationalise or negate my initial feeling from my body. In these times I come back to myself with the gentle breath and this allows me to feel the true connection to my body again! Thank you Sarah for your beautiful reflection.

  394. Yep, I know when there’s something I absolutely know as truth I can feel it in my bones. My whole body responds. And it all makes sense

  395. Wow Sarah, what an amazing revelation. I really loved reading it and could “feel it in my bones” as being truth. You have an amazing way of putting the feelings in words.

  396. No wonder that we cannot escape truth when it is sitting in our body all along. And no wonder that our bodies become disharmonious and miserable when we ignore truth for to long.

  397. It is so beautiful how our bodies recognise what is truth, and what is not truth…all that is necessary is our willingness to feel and listen to our bodies.

  398. What a wonderful celebration of truth. I love this word, the way it resonates in my body, creating a ripple and expansion throughout my being. When I hear truth it is a such a confirmation of my inner knowing. I feel strong, steady and powerful. Even if I haven’t been living the truth expressed, there is no shame, just a feeling of ‘Yes, this is it, there is so much more to life than what we see’.

  399. Sarah what you share is the truth, your words have a familiarity to them that is so incredibly intimate and also an intimacy that is so incredible familiar.
Interestingly when I read ” Truth then acts as a bridge or connector of sorts to the quality – this knowing – that is within me” I felt that it is also true to say “quality then acts as a bridge or connector of sorts to the truth – this knowing-that is within me”.

  400. It’s so true we can’t lose something that is deeply within us. For me personally it’s about growing my awareness of how my body feels and listening to that more and more.

  401. Sarah this is such an affirming blog. For me, it feels as though we have the power to change the world if we allow ourselves to feel and express truth from our bodies and reflect this to others so they can feel what is possible for them.

  402. Thank you Sarah for writing this. I love “we know truth because it lives within us”. Simply fantastic!

  403. Beautiful words Sarah, I loved reading every part of it. Thank you for this amazing blog. That deep sense of knowing and feeling of expansion when truth is felt is an awesome feeling. I remember feeling truth within when I was a child and felt it was something that was deep inside emanating out, I felt the warmth, the stillness and the strength. It felt indestructible. To reconnect back to our truth is truly amazing.

  404. Thank you for bringing this to our awareness. Until I started receiving esoteric treatments I can honestly say I had never ‘felt’ truth before in this life. I might have thought I knew what truth was but I had no idea how to connect to myself in a way that allows me to feel truth. It’s great to appreciate this and to know we all have the ability to feel truth if we choose to.

  405. Reading your wonderful words on truth, Sarah, took me back to the day I met Serge Benhayon. As he began to present to us, my whole being started to expand, and as well as feeling that I had finally come home, I also had a knowing deep within me that said very clearly “this is truth”. I now know that I had never lost the knowing of what truth is. As you wrote so wisely – “ how can I lose something that is living within me?!”

  406. An inspiring and awesome article Sarah, and a testament to the amazing and supportive teachings and healings of Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine.
    I particularly liked: –
“I now find myself deepening my understanding and feeling of truth, with no need to ‘hold on’ or ‘keep it’, or have a fear of losing it – for how can I lose something that is living within me?!”
This previously was always a fear in me of loosing my connection to God and myself.

  407. Sarah I absolutely love this blog. You’ve expressed what I feel in my body with such a clarity that I feel I can further confirm what I feel to be true too.

I love how you write, ‘how can I lose something that is living within me?!’ Worrying about losing my awareness becomes nonsensical when I feel the truth of always having the choice to re-connect to the truth that is living within me. Even when I was pretty messed up and heard the presentations of Universal Medicine, the truth of what was being presented resonated so deeply.

The opposite is true too. I often know what’s not true. In reading your blog and confirming more consciously that I do know the markers of what it feels like to hear truth I have a greater ability to discern what is not true. In the past I often reacted to what is not true by getting incredibly frustrated but I am now developing my awareness and understanding and feeling things more for what they are.

Since my involvement with Universal Medicine I am more understanding of myself and not so needy. I am therefore more able to respect people’s choices without needing them to be a certain way in order that I can be a certain way. I am learning that I can live truthfully without needing ‘the world’ to be living truth first. I am SO appreciative of the Universal Medicine role models and blogs who show me this is all completely possible.

  408. I too have felt this – a truth that has felt so right that i have felt it in my bones. I love what you said it is like – “one of those awesome ‘wow!’ moments, where a possibility had been presented to me which I felt instantly and deeply as a truth”. Many of these feelings have come from listening to Serge Benhayon present. I have felt it with every ounce of my being that what he says, is not something new, but something that i already know deep within me. So when i am there listening, it is like a ‘ahhh, yes i knew that, thank you for reminding me’, it feel so simple and uncomplicated. Just love.

  409. This is without doubt one of the best explorations into what it feels like to actually feel the truth. It has got me pondering what it feels like too, I very much agree with what you have presented, when I hear the truth it’s like every cell in my body says yes, there is such a strength and knowing, and the truth almost always encompasses the bigger picture, and on hearing it there is a great freedom.

  410. Sarah, I love how you share how your reunion with Truth was like being reunited with a long lost and very dear friend and how you also felt it as a ‘deeper connection to who I already truly am – my whole body felt this as an expansion – like the ‘walls’ of my body spread out and touched everything around me.’ This has also been my experience with reconnecting to the Truth – space just seemed to open up inside me and I could feel a ‘bigger me’ begin to fill it.

  411. Hello Sarah, your blog is beautifully written and it’s very joyous when we re-connect to our body as the Truth holder that it is 🙂 When I read the book The Way It Is, the first book by Serge Benhayon, my body felt like it was coming home to me, the Truth was just bubbling up all through me, very joyful!

  412. Its great that you share this. The truth is something to go for and live everyday. And what I really like in your blog is that you say: how can I lose something that is living within me?! It is a great reminder that we can always connect to truth and it will always be there.

  413. Thank you Sarah for sharing this great lived wisdom with us. I love the phrase “We know truth because it lives within us” because I can feel it in my bones too. When I will connect more and more to this inner truth, I experience that I am also finding the true purpose for my life to dedicate to.

  414. Sarah, your statements about experiencing deep knowing when we connect to something that is true is spot on. I am particularly inspired to continue to take responsibility for my path of return after reading the line ‘my awareness of and connection to truth only ever depends on the choices I make in each moment.’ Thank you!

  415. Being attentive to our bodies in the way you describe Sarah is essential.
We will then hear those inner ‘callings’, from the part that “knows all” and is always with us.

  416. Sarah, what a beauty-full blog so tenderly written. Reading your words reminded me of the first of Serge’s talks I attended, my whole body responded so deeply to his words, calling yes, yes, yes! I experienced that great feeling of relief and expansion you describe. For the first time in my life it felt like I could fully open my lungs and breath. Our bodies hold the wisdom, we do know truth. Thank you.

  417. I love that feeling of knowing already within me the truth of what someone else presents. A connection to myself and another, the possibilities that opens up to go deeper.
    Beautiful.

    1. Mark I loved how you shared this and I completely agree, the feeling of feeling something that I know already inside is exquisitely confirming.

  418. The truths that we are seemingly presented with – Live within us – of this there can be no doubt – for we see this in our everyday. When we make choices that support us, the truth of each choice builds deeper awareness’s and learning’s so that we continue to connect with the ageless wisdom – our inner hearts.

  419. Thank you for the reminder that truth lives within us. This blog gives a clear explanation to the fact that the body has been referred to as ‘the marker of truth’. My thoughts can be solid one moment but doubting in the next, what I feel is what I feel and that is solid. It only appears to wavier in quality when I choose to not be aware of how solid it actually is.

  420. Now living in a time where the truth of all things is so distorted, it is so very welcoming to know that there are the few that will only present the truth in every way they live, truly something to be inspired by.

  421. Thank you Sarah, for a very powerful article about truth. I too have had the experience of ‘feeling it in my bones.’ In fact the whole body says ‘yes’ in that moment.

  422. I have been running from myself and the world for along time. With support from Serge Benhayon and the Esoteric Practitioners i have come to understand that i have been running because i was scared of what the world was showing me . I was looking outside of myself, not trusting myself. I have started to trust my feelings now and it is wonderful to understand that i can live from these feelings and not my mind. Thank you

  423. with support from Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine, i have started to actually feel the truth . it is an awesome way to live! i have always been confused by the amount of information out there. i got so i did not believe anything i read. when Serg Benhayon said to not believe anything i say until you feel the truth , i said that feels right. thank you Serge Benhayon for presenting the truth.

  424. Sarah reading your article it’s been interesting as I’ve been reflecting on situations at work today. Whenever I get a feeling that something is not quite right or true but go along with it – then it always ends up falling apart. Something I am working on! Yet when I also have times of feeling something is true, even though on the surface it may challenge me, then trusting that feeling seems to always result in something that supports me in what I am doing next. Those moments when we feel something is true in our bones makes it undeniable. Exactly, as so many people have shared in the comments that, when I hear Serge Benhayon present I know without any hesitation the absolute truth in what is said, as it is clearly felt and has always supported me.

    1. I agree David that even if it is something that is heard for the first time, that challenges what we may have thought, as Serge so often presents, I cannot dispute it because I can feel within me that recognition – that this is true.

  425. “Initially it felt like being reunited with an awesome old friend whom I’d lost contact with a long time ago and forgotten about – but remembered instantly when I heard (saw) them again” I felt my body say ‘yes’ when I read this sentence. Listening to presentations by Serge Benhayon I have so often heard him say something that I realized I already knew but did not remember that I knew it. A wonderful rediscovery of all that I already know ‘in my bones’.

    1. My feelings exactly Mary. The first time I heard Serge Benhayon speak, I knew ‘in my bones’ the truth that I had known for lifetimes, but had forgotten. It was indeed like having an old friend back, and I knew I was no longer alone, and need never feel so again, because that old friend was my true self.

  426. Thank you Sarah for your great article about Truth. I am learning to feel truth more and more in my body and trust it, also to speak my truth and feel the deeper connection to myself with this.

  427. I appreciate how you write about how ‘truth’ feels like it brings a connection. It feels great to ponder this and feel what ‘truth’ connects us with. I have felt this deep wellbeing and ‘connection’ when feeling the truth and it has felt like an old friend. It feels like it is part of me and I am learning to express it and appreciate it more and more. Thank you for sharing.

    1. Its so true Samantha, it is like greeting a very, very dear friend when we hear Truth, every particle in our bodies respond, because we recognise the energy we are truly from.

      1. I feel that too Rowena. When there is truth my body is in harmony with all. When I hear lies my body feels off key, deprived, dis harmonious.

  428. Knowing oneself in life is the first step to speaking truth, when we hold back speaking truth we actually deny ourselves our own relationship. How important is it then to work on speaking truth!

    1. Good point Amina, knowing ourselves is fundamental to speaking the truth. If we don’t truly know ourselves we will always be open to being influenced by others but it will feel as if it is coming from us.

      1. Yes Tim I agree, if we don’t know ourselves then it is so easy to be influenced by others mainly because we have numbed our selves from feeling. So we then depend on confirmation from outside of us.

  429. Sarah this is so timely and I will be reading this again and again. You have so clearly shared the essence of what life is all about. I have yearned for truth my whole life and once I started attending Serge Benhayon’s teaching from the Ageless Wisdom I knew I had come home to find truth that never left me. As you say it was then and always will be every second of everyday a choice to live truth for all, not in perfection but with a willingness to connect to it and be it as it is in us to the bones.

  430. I can really relate to this, to there being a knowing in my body that is a marker for whether something is true or not. It’s like that feeling you get when someone is saying seemingly all the ‘right’ words but you know there’s something amiss. Thanks Sarah.

  431. I love the tangibility of this description of truth Sarah, “Truth then acts as a bridge or connector of sorts to the quality – this knowing – that is within me”. It is that truth ignites the flare of something that is equally known within us, absolutely gorgeous. Thank you

  432. A great point is made here that when we hear or see or feel truth it is actually a confirmation of what we already know and who we are. We feel expanded and it does feel like a relief as well because when we feel seen for who we truly are we can drop the charade of being a managed or controlled version of ourselves which requires a huge amount of energy and effort to sustain. We can deeply let go and relax when truth is expressed.

  433. I love this line, “When we feel truth, we are really feeling ourselves.” As I read your blog this is what I could feel, more of me, the Truth that is within. Thank you.

  434. This article resonated deep within my body and has allowed me to feel more deeply who I truly am. A very powerful sharing, inviting us to feel more of who we truly are. Absolutely beautiful Sarah.

  435. I am becoming more familiar with the sense of knowing and of feeling truth in my body. I am also learning to trust it and that I don’t need to hold onto it, it’s always there. Thank you for a beautiful post Sarah.

  436. ‘Truth lives within me and can never be lost or truly forgotten – and that my awareness of and connection to truth only ever depends on the choices I make in each moment.’ The truth rings out loud and clear in these words and once again shows that personal responsibility is the inescapable basis and foundation upon which we build our lives. These moment by moment choices we make are what determine the quality of awareness about life we have as well as the quality of the thoughts that come to us.

  437. Just Wow, thank you for such a clear understanding on truth. I never need to think about, doubt or be in the unknowing of anything as my body will tell me if I just listen to it. And not listening to my head that fears that what may be felt as truth conflicts with the set idea I have in my head. If that set idea is a lie then why go along with it?

  438. Thank you Sarah – this has really deepened my understanding of truth and has brought me back, as so many of these blogs do, to the the simple fact that listening to what my body tells me, and honouring it in each moment, is the only way forward!

  439. I would always look for “the answers”, which I would call truth, from someone else as I perceived I did not have that. It’s great how you’ve reminded me it’s inside and it never goes away, just our awareness of it can through our daily choices.

  440. A very inspiring article. The bit that really caught my attention is “the freedom to truly know I am responsible for the quality of my life.” This is a profound freedom to understand that it is every choice we make that will result in the quality of life we then live.

  441. I have felt this too, when hearing something from another and, from hearing myself suddenly saying something I didn’t know was going to come out of my mouth. To me it feels like a tingling of every cell in the body and my body loosens up everywhere. I love how you say “I am responsible for the quality of my life.”

  442. This is a great blog that to me explains exactly what the expression ‘feeling it in my bones’ means. Thanks for putting this into words Sarah. I can relate to that whole body feeling when I hear something that is the truth. I love the bit where you say “like the ‘walls’ of my body spread out and touched everything around me.”

  443. Sarah, thank you so much for sharing this – it was so beautiful to read and I could feel its truth speaking to my body – waking it up – with so much joy, celebration and deep appreciation for you – and all of us ! It just kept expanding.

  444. A beautiful blog about feeling the truth and from that knowing our true selves more deeply. Sometimes the truth can reveal ugliness, but the beauty of the truth being nominated overrides and supports the discomfort of the ugliness being felt.

  445. Thank you for this blog Sarah – I was struck by your revelation of how easily you recognise truth as something natural, rather than having to work hard trying to figure it out. That is beautiful, and makes it absolutely accessible to all of us.

  446. Thank you very much Sarah Davis for this blog on Truth and I agree when you say Truth speaks to the part of us that Knows All.
I claim that I am walking and living Truth and Truth is my middle name so to speak.
For me everything is either Truth or not Truth.
I know the clear difference because if I cannot feel Truth then I have to call it out as Not Truth.
I stand by my Truth and if I get it wrong then I am open to learning as I am on this earth forever learning.
The feeling in my body of Truth can be described as an expansion and fullness with no tension. I do not waiver from my Truth and I really don’t concern myself with what others may think or say about me. I will continue to keep expressing my Truth. This is my quality and I call this quality my true essence.
On a final note I do not do ‘nice’, I do ‘Truth’ and I do it well and inspire many in my world. It does not make me popular but it does make me Real.
My inspiration comes from Serge Benhayon and the teachings of Universal Medicine.

    1. Thank you Bina, this is deeply inspiring. Holding back and being nice has been my middle name. Through the presentations of Serge Benhayon I am learning to feel truth and express it, sometimes it can feel very scary but I am realising that each time I do I am confirming the greater part of me. Thank you for claiming and walking your truth Bina in this you inspire us all.

    2. Loved that Bina. ‘Nice’ is not enough. It keeps people in their comfort zone and thus colludes with a false way of being. ‘Kind’ is not enough either, as it presents less of the truth to avoid reaction. But truth, presented lovingly, is inspirational.

  447. Sarah, wow what an exquisite blog, I can feel so much of what you speak of with the truth and my body so resonated with what you wrote, thank you.

  448. Dear Sarah, these words are felt deep inside and the description of how a moment of truth actually feels – like the ‘walls’ of your being expanding out to everything around you – is something we can all relate to as an experience, and a beautiful gift you have shared with us.Thank you.

  449. Beautiful blog Sarah. I love how you describe the familiarity and knowingness of truth, like being reunited with an old friend and how ‘I felt more complete, whole, more connected to a sense of the depths of ‘me’. So powerful. Thank you.

  450. Thank you Sarah, I have felt that connection in my body when someone has spoken truth to me, it has been a very expansive feeling and as you say a “deep knowing” right to our hearts.

  451. I loved this blog Sarah and I loved this line,”Truth has this effect because it speaks to the part of us which ‘knows all’, when we are spoken to with truth.”. ….we really can feel it in our bones.

  452. Super blog Sarah. Truth certainly does live within us and it’s amazing when you hear someone speaking truth from their body because you can feel it your body.

  453. Thank you Sarah for the inspiration to feel more in my body, so I can feel truth for myself. The more people who can feel truth like you can, the less room there is for the constant lies, or untruths that pour out of people today.

  454. Awesome blog Sarah, I found what you expressed really confirming of everyone’s ability to know truth – because that truth lives with in us. Thank you!

  455. “Truth has this effect because it speaks to the part of us which ‘knows all’.” Thank you Sarah, amazing blog. Thank you for sharing with us your experience of knowing what is true. I love how you describe it like reuniting with an awesome old friend. The truth is in us! So true!! Love it!

  456. Thank you Sarah. What you have written here has been said with strength, power, clarity and from a woman who clearly knows truth to the core. Thank you for sharing! It’s also a beautiful reminder that we all know Truth.

  457. I loved this Sarah, and I agree, we feel the truth in our bones and every part of our bodies. I’ve also been been learning recently how much my body loves the truth, and when I speak it, it’s like it completely comes alive and I feel a strength and an authority that wasn’t there before.

  458. Awesome blog Sarah, truth is very powerful indeed. Thank you for sharing.

  459. Thank you Sarah for this amazing writing about truth in one’s whole body and the absolute knowing coming from this inside throughout my whole body when presented with this, as you say. A true joy to read and feel and a gift we can all connect to.

  460. Thank you Sarah and for the inspiring article that is a gift. Truth is known! We hear the yes, this is truth whispered and sometimes because our untrained ‘ear’ is not used to it we ignore, subvert, scream it down… Thank you for sharing this it is beautiful.

    1. Yes I agree with you Sally ‘to the bone’ is what I felt when I read this article. The deeper knowing connects us to truth and from here our decisions come from a space of lived truths in our daily lives

  461. Wow Sarah, both the pieces you’ve just written have been so powerful for me to read. Just in receiving your words, it is as you so beautifully put it like reconnecting to an awesome old friend, that lives in you and in me.

  462. Sarah,
You make it sound so simple to stay connected and I like this very much.
“How can I loose something that lives within me ”
This really does make perfect sense and is a very supportive statement .
“My awareness of and connection to truth only ever depends on the choices I make in each moment”
This just high lights the responsibility we truly have to ourselves and others in every moment of every day.
Thank you for your solid powerful sharing, it really is an inspiring and supportive message.

    1. Beautifully said Lisa Rose. This is a great blog Sarah and a reminder about choices we make, knowing the responsibility we have to ourselves and others in every moment of every day.

  463. Oh wow Sarah, this post is magic! Profoundly magic. This post resonated so strongly with me and I can feel the feeling you talk about, THE FEELING OF TRUTH. I feel like I want to read this post everyday to soak up everything from it. So beautiful and strong!

People use the word truth in all sorts of manners and contexts with it often being an expression of an opinion. True or deep truth on the other hand comes with a distinct feeling.

    Thank you

    1. I completely loved this blog and am inspired like Rebecca to read it frequently. I like the understanding you have drawn Rebecca about how the word truth is used.
“Truth connects us more deeply to who we already are”, I too know the feeling of truth, the feeling deep in my body. For me, it seems when I feel it is like a call to be more. An invitation to step out of the existence I have been in and be more open and focussed on life as evolution, not something by which to get through.

    2. Great point about people using the word truth as an opinion. How often do we hear people ‘speaking their truth’, but our bodies feel uncomfortable with it. How can it be a truth if it is not so for everyone?
