It Simply Makes Sense

by Katrin Schäffer, Germany

Serge Benhayon was the first, and until now, the only person who could explain to me a way to understand why our world is the way it is. What he presents makes absolute sense; why people behave the way they do, why there is so much disharmony, harm and lovelessness in our society – and how it is possible to change that. Not just to improve my life, but to serve humanity as a whole.

One of the most important things I have learnt from Serge’s presentations is that to love myself and to take care of myself is not selfish, but is the basis of being loving and caring with others.

Never ever has Serge told me to change anything – but he has helped me to consider how responsible I am on a daily basis for my own health and well-being. Realising this, I have changed a lot of my old behaviours, with the result being that I feel much more healthy and vital than ever before. However, I haven´t changed them because of a discipline or imposed rule, but because it feels natural and harmonious to my body. I thank Serge, and Universal Medicine, for simply showing us the love that we already are.

  1. Linda what you say resonates with me, that is, that there is a consciousness that lies within us that is other worldly and it is the universe, which because of its expansion is pulling us all to align back to our origins, and this we will do because it is part of the natural flow of its ever expansion.

  2. I personally love the way that Serge talks about the Universe because we are a part of the Universe as it is a part of us. Where else are we taught this most important information? I was never taught this within my family or at school. I knew the universe was there and I was a part of it but because this wasn’t confirmed in me, I dropped my feeling of connection until I met Serge Benhayon and he reminded me of something that actually we all know is true, we all belong to the universe.

  3. How evil is the belief that says loving and taking care of ourselves is selfish. We would have no basis of love within us to offer outwardly and it does make sense how the world is in the state that it is in.

    1. It is evil to say loving and caring for ourselves is selfish; we are unable to truly love and care for another until we have that foundation in ourselves first.

  4. What Serge presents makes sense because he expresses from what we know as common sense. He emanates the wisdom he lives first and plainly shows that this is equally available to everyone.

    1. Is it possible that when we use our 5 senses to evaluate life adding them together makes our sixth sense which then becomes the most import sensory system we have. How is it we can easily agree that animals use all their senses to read life but somehow we don’t think we can do the same? This puts us at a huge disadvantage because we are incredibly sensitive too but will deny it because we have decided that to be sensitive is to be lesser than and to be ridiculed. But who is more intelligent, animals that can sense when a tsunami is approaching and make for higher ground and safety, or the human being who stands on the beach to watch it approach?

    2. Serge Benhayon shares only what he lives, and because of that we are able to feel the truth and sense in what he is saying.

  5. Yes, it simply makes sense I so agree but I also have come to realise how many of us do not want sense but simply want to continue the way things are.

  6. If Serge Benhayon were a university professor and he were to write what he does and to present what he presents, he would be not just listened but also acclaimed. This shows how ridiculous we are as society.

  7. I keep saying this because it is true, I have learnt more about science, religion, philosophy, health, the universe and our part within it than anything I learnt at school and what is presented is so fascinating that I could never be bored in the way I was at school. Life has taken on a new meaning since meeting Serge Benhayon it is richer, more fulfilling and much grander.

  8. There is still this misconception in the media that Serge Benhayon ‘tells’ people what to do, I have attended many uni med events and never ever have I ever heard Serge tell someone what to do. Serge Benhayon is the most unimposing man I know.

    1. If someone told me what to do, it could well get my back up. I have to feel and decide what is true for me to do, and I am sure that is the case for many people.

  9. To me Serge Benhayon has empowered me to take control of my life, for years I had denied all responsibility to the way I was living it was always someone else’s fault or life was beyond my control. No one has been able to do this and definitely not the physiologist who I spent years seeing. In fact they encouraged me feel I was a victim of life.

  10. ‘One of the most important things I have learnt from Serge’s presentations is that to love myself and to take care of myself is not selfish, but is the basis of being loving and caring with others.’ It’s so simple and so true. This week I was talking to a woman who was saying how she did a lot for her child and not looking after herself. She said she knew this wasn’t teaching her child how to look after themselves but how to look after others at ones expense. We reflect how to live to others all the time. I know just walking down the street being present is a huge reflection. It’s not what one does but the quality that’s there.

    1. That’s just one crazy thing in our crazy society, saying that taking care of yourself is selfish, whereas what is true is ‘to love myself and to take care of myself is not selfish, but is the basis of being loving and caring with others.’

  11. Thats the amazing thing about true love, it never ever imposes or tells you what to do, it just presents and offers another way.

  12. And to add, it’s very empowering to make a change that comes from taking responsibility for ourselves. I think a lot of the time in life we allow other things to be our driver, rather than saying no – this is my life, it’s my responsibility and I’m going to choose what is ok or not.

  13. Serge Benhayon has so much love for humanity that he does not hold back what needs to be said. In direct contrast we can manipulate and persuade so we don’t change the comfort we all live in – and yet the rates of depression, suicide, physical and environmental trauma increases. Give me honesty any day so we can be part of the change that we can then all benefit from rather than a suitable truth that keeps me in an isolated pocket of comfort.

    1. I agree with you Lucy I hate the fact that we have given over to comfort at the expense of our awareness. The comfort many of us have wrapped ourselves in is actually suffocating us so that we lead a life of misery disconnected from ourselves thinking that because we have a ‘nice’ house a car go on holiday several times a year that we are living. I have come to the understanding this is not living it is just existing.

  14. Me too! Thank you Serge for giving me a choice to see what there is to see and not have the rose-tinted spectacles that I have preferred to look at life through. If you don’t see what is actually in front of you and you are not prepared to question how we got there then there is no true way to re-imprint it.

  15. When we are opening to moving in the Love and Light that we naturally feel then we allow our-selves to live and walk in the ways that are so humble in who what we bring and this is felt as a divine reflection by others in our complete Humble-Appreciative-Ness of our divinity.

    1. The body is wise, listening and honouring its wisdom allows us to deepen in love, ‘I haven´t changed them because of a discipline or imposed rule, but because it feels natural and harmonious to my body. ‘

  16. Changing things because of a discipline and/or imposed rule never works because it comes from the mind and the ideals of how we would like things to be, and not from the body that shows us exactly what changes are there to be made.

  17. For me too, Serge Benhayon was the first person who could explain why it is the way it is without coming to an deadend or God being mentioned to justify what we do not understand.

  18. Someone who lives truth is already without saying a word inspiring or confronting. Just the movements communicate it all. And Serge Benhayon is the best living example for that.

    1. I am discovering Stefanie that it is all about movement, movement can move mountains and so it will be movement not words that changes the world.

  19. Our essence which is simply divine can never be destroyed or touched in any way shape or form no matter what choices we make or whatever someone does to us.

  20. I have never met any religion that made so much sense, like the Way of the Livingness. It is in fact simple, down to earth, non imposing and the truths that get presented just resonated in my whole body, when I first listened to it 10 years ago.

  21. None of us can deny that the foundations of taking care of others is to first take care of ourselves.

  22. Listen to our body and we will know our next steps, self care, self love and wellness become simple…no perfection with this, there are times when we hit a metaphorical brick wall, but that is when that amazing foundation of self care we have eestablished really, truly, supports us to regain clarity and move on.

  23. I agree, never told but inspired…a man who lives it and through that you know you can live at as well. Simple, but so profoundly trail blazing…Love it.

    1. davidsonsamantha because everything is known to the absolute detail of why life is the way it it is and shared with the world, this allows our bodies to settle, which is profound as most of us live in the nervous tension of life because we are in reaction to it.

  24. Serge does not present or endeavour to argue a particular point of view, instead he just presents what for him is true and then it is for the individual whether that makes sense for them or not. If not, then that is fine and there is no attempt to persuade or cajole. What he presents seems such common sense and I, like thousands of others, have put into practice what he presents to experience for ourselves and have found it is true for us too.

    1. Common sense, and a sense of I know that already at some level in my body, so it is like a confirming of what we already know.

  25. To know love in another we need to live ourselves, to live life with any joy, it is necessary to love ourselves, we neglect this too much and survive in life and do not flourish.

  26. When I first laid eyes on Serge Benhayon’s first book ‘The Way it Is’ my whole body lit up like a Christmas tree, and every word I read afterward confirmed just how much my body had already told me was the absolute truth about our world and how it works. I had never felt anything like that before.

    1. Is it possible that what has been presented by Serge Benhayon shattering our ideals and beliefs especially when it comes to our perception of family, I’m reading one of the many books that Serge Benhayon has written called the ‘There is a Field of Immeasurable Love’. My understanding of the book is that it is all about the corrupted version of family and how toxic family life is. We know this to be true because all the research that has been carried out on family life over the years shows the ‘family’ to be very toxic because of the amount of physical, mental and sexual abuse that goes on behind closed doors all under the the title of ‘Family’. Interestingly in spite of all the research which lays bare the toxicity of family life we seem unable to change our ways and so we have normalised the abuse by putting in ‘social services’ to support those that find themselves in an abusive situation but the system is broken because of the sheer volume of abuse within the family and still we try to fix what is completely smashed to pieces.

  27. We are so responsible for our daily health and wellbeing. A pertinent reminder today, thank you.

  28. I am gradually learning how to be in the world but not of it…..that is to be a fish in the sea and not get wet. The more we immerse ourselves in the world the more we discover the strength of our connection to love and truth and our ability to live that.

  29. The understanding that we do actually have to love ourselves first, is on one level so obvious, so simple and yet it seems to elude most of humanity

    1. cjames2012 As a race of human-beings we seem to get off on complicating life. I have watched how people from all walks of life seem to get off on making life complicated when it doesn’t have to be. There is no judgement because I remember living in complications because I felt to live life was to struggle in it so I went about making life complicated. Through the Way of The livingness I have discovered for myself that actually living a simple life brings joy to my body, joy is now my everyday companion. If anyone had told me this would happen 10 years ago I would have laughed.

  30. With understanding comes greater awareness and with this awareness we can learn to understand the world and why it is the way it is, and from there make choices that are more loving and supportive. What Serge Benhayon presents makes absolute sense, never has he told anyone what to do because he knows that we do know, the only difference is that we have not yet put into action and lived what we know makes sense.

  31. Through the presentations of Serge Benhayon, I too have felt the responsibility I have to myself and to humanity, and unless we start taking responsibility for how we live and the choices we make the world will continue to spiral out of control, oblivious of the consequences of the choices everyone is making. There is a far greater way to live together with love and without separation.

    1. There is a responsibility toward humanity to be the person that steps forward to live as you say Sally together with love and in love without need for separation. It is the separation that is killing us because in our true essence we all belong to the one soul.

  32. I thank Serge Benhayon too.
Never in my wildest dreams did I consider responsibility was in how I lived, but it is, wholly and completely so and this is the only thing I am and can be responsible for. What is truly fascinating me is the more I live with this level of responsibility the more I see that in doing so I am presenting a different way of living to others. This is a responsibility that I have yet to fully appreciate, but one that I can see is paramount in our coming times as our planet goes through much upheaval, all because of the gross amount of irresponsibility that is lived by humanity.

    1. Leigh I thought I was responsible, I have been a single parent since my child was three and I took full charge of bringing the child up on my own while working full time traveling Internationally for the company I worked for. Through the teachings of Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine I have come to understand that there is a responsibility towards oneself, I completely neglected myself but if we do this then in truth we are a billboard to humanity saying it’s okay to neglect yourself as long as you are looking after others, this ideology reeks of the Roman Catholic Religion. I was brought up to believe that females especially should put everyone ahead of themselves. When actually the opposite is true. If we reconnect to our essence or innermost and live from there we are full of ourselves and this fullness overflows so that everyone can feel and partake in the fullness too. It’s a win win for humanity

  33. It is so true that what Serge presents makes so much sense to us, it by passes the mind and goes straight to our inner essence where our self love and equal love for others resides .

  34. ” I thank Serge, and Universal Medicine, for simply showing us the love that we already are.” This is lovely Katrin and so true , the day will come when everyone will get this true message about themselves.

  35. Actually you can say because that what Serge Benhayon is presenting to us makes sense, we are brought back to our senses and our natural way of being.

  36. Yes everything that Serge presents makes absolute sense in every way – it is hard to put into words how precious this is and what a settlement it brings to the body. Now my life also makes sense and has great purpose and joy.

    1. What is so fascinating Nicola is that it all happens without even trying to do anything. The more our bodies settle with the truth again the more settled we feel. It’s a bit like separating the wheat from the chaff. The chaff is the Astral plane we could say, let our attachment to that go completely and we are left with the wheat which is the most precious part of the plant because it nourishes us.

  37. The more we can care for and love ourselves the more we can do this for others and the more we do this the less we can harm so this does make a lot of sense.

  38. The Ageless Wisdom teachings have all the answers to humanity’s dilemmas, worldwide and on a personal level.

    1. Yes they do and applied as a daily practice the body responds and offers us a connection to the source of the Ageless Wisdom that re-connects us with our purpose.

  39. Same for me Katrin, since attending Serge Benhayon’s presentations, workshop and courses, everything about life, our world, the universe and religion makes sense. I no longer feel overwhelmed by the disharmony in our world but have a greater understanding and purpose. I know I can make a difference, well, we all can make a difference towards a more loving way of life which will naturally reflect in all areas of our world.

  40. We are constantly presented with narratives of the world that try to make sense of why and how things are the way they are. These narratives come as packages we can relate to. And we relate to them by means of aligning to them. Yet, how many do we also feel that align to what our entire body feels and knows it is true? This is where Universal Medicine comes into the equation. This is why what it offers is so unique.

  41. What Serge Benhayon presents does make sense in a world that I find a bit crazy at times. As you have shared, it is simple things like taking care of yourself, so you have the love and care to share with others. It seems a no brainer now, but when I was caught in pleasing others and self-sacrifice it was not in my awareness or lived experience at all.

    1. Fiona I feel that Serge Benhayon lives in a way that is free of the life we have all chosen to become a part of. So we could say we are all in the mud together our awareness is that all we can see, feel and touch is the mud. Then Serge Benhayon comes along mud free and maybe asks a simple question like
“what are you all doing in the mud?”
Suddenly we are all aware that our lived experience is that we are living in a swamp. This is possibly a huge revelation for us all to consider.

  42. Absolutely what Serge Benhayon presents makes total sense because it allows us to realign with our body which is the marker of all truth.

  43. ” to love myself and to take care of myself is not selfish, but is the basis of being loving and caring with others.” This is a key learning in how important it is to nurture one self .

  44. Katrin, Serge Benhayon simply makes sense to me too. I have found him to be the most, ‘worldly’ down to earth person I have ever met, and with such a common sense approach to life, to not take note would not be very sensible!

  45. So true, before I used to live in so much reaction to the world and not understand why things were the way they were. When I first heard Serge speak it just made so much sense. It was like everything that I had felt but never consciously been able to put words too was being expressed and my life changed from that moment.

    1. MW I had total given-up of life and everyone in life as I was in so much reaction to it. What I have discovered is I cannot change the world but I can change how I feel and interact with the world.

  46. The evidence for the teachings of Serge Benhayon is gloriously displayed in the lives of the Universal Medicine student body. We have all never been so well on every level, and even if the body is unwell, the being is very much experiencing wellness in the form of love and joy. And, the positive changes we are experiencing keep continuing.

    1. Yes Melinda there is a part of us that we have not given any attention to and it has been starved of the love that naturally resides in all of us. By reconnecting to our essence we turn on the tap to the love and joy that is within us just waiting to be expressed again. Living in the love and joy again gives others the permission to live this way too, as they can feel they also are capable of love and joy.

  47. “One of the most important things I have learnt from Serge’s presentations is that to love myself and to take care of myself is not selfish” we do feel that if we look after ourselves first, that it is selfish, especially when it comes to being a parent, or even in a relationship. That we need to be seen to be looking out for others and children, but it couldn’t be further from the truth, looking after ourselves first then allows for a solid foundation within, to then be able to be in service to others.

  48. It seems very apparent to me that self-love is life changing and will, when more and more of us adopt it, change humanity for ever.

  49. Telling people how they need to change always comes with a judgement that they are somehow broken or not enough already. Inspiring them to want to grow through change for themselves and providing them support to do so is what Serge Benhayon offers. This is true change.

  50. My experience exactly. What I find amazing is that not only what Serge Benhayon presents answers to many questions the world need to have answered, it all comes back to the same one truth that makes sense of everything. There’s such elegance in that.

  51. Everything Serge Benhayon has presented over the last 2 decades makes absolute sense, but it is not the mind that will necessarily be able to realize that but much more the body, one´s own lived experience and an innate knowing the intellect cannot explain. One must at least open to the possibility of what the mind, the gathered knowledge and learned way of thinking cannot immediately grasp so that there is some space for what appears to be new but will be recognized as already known when allowing for the connection to be restored.

  52. Learning to see the world from our choices and how we in turn move within that world has benefited me greatly. Without Serge Benhayon and the teaching’s of the Way of the Livingness I would have never felt how amazing our own inner knowing is and eery answer for any question resides right there within us. A very cool way to be and live in the world today.

  53. True freedom is being able to make choices that support you in every way. The Way of the Livingness offers anyone that freedom through daily connection to their inner most, their soul.

  54. One of the greatest moments in my life was meeting Serge Benhayon in 2008. No bells, no whistles, no polite small talk – only an inner knowing that this man knew every particle through to my core and beyond and simply accepted and ‘met me’ in full, without any sense any expectations being imposed upon me or to reduce myself to fit in, in any way. The rare gift that Serge Benhayon offers to everyone he meets – equal-ness for all, without reservation.

  55. By pausing to reflect upon, appreciate and then accept where’I am / we are ‘at’ in any given moment, is how we re-develop a deeper relationship with honesty with ourselves and others. From this, it is possible to make different choices to live in a way that is supportive for evolution and discover that we do know what is true.

  56. I remember years ago asking Serge Benhayon for some advice on something, and his response was lovingly to ask me how I felt about it, and from there it was easy to make my own choice. In over a decade he has never once told me what to do.

  57. Doesn’t it simply make sense? You can only truly know something from living it yourself or having an understanding from life experience. We can all say we care but how is care known? Do you follow a definition in a book or do you have a level that’s known to you from how you have lived? It would make sense again because it seems there are many definitions of care in the world, for some it’s a phone call, for others it’s a blanket, others it’s money etc etc. What I am saying is there are so many ways we show we care but the only way we can truly show this level is to know it ourselves. If we look at into the world and can see something is needed then to truly bring this part to ourselves first reflects this into the world in every step. If you want every point covered bring what you see is needed into every part of your life, that way your not just propping up a part you are supporting everything from simply how you live.

  58. When we wake up to the fact that we are responsible for our own lives and how they have and will unfold, we are much more open to changing the behaviours and letting go of the hurts that shadow and prevent us living to our full potential.

  59. Very wise Katrin, how can we possibly nurture and love and other, if we cannot first appreciate it as a quality within us to then share with others through reflection.
“…..to love myself and to take care of myself is not selfish, but is the basis of being loving and caring with others”.

  60. “Never ever has Serge told me to change anything”- me neither, but the immense wisdom that he has presented to me and thousands of others over the last 17 years is overflowing with so much common sense that is very hard to ignore; in fact I have not been able to ignore it, because at some level I could always feel the truth of it. From there I have been the one to make any change and have always benefited from doing so in many life changing ways.

  61. Understanding that the quality of our lives is shaped solely through the quality of choices we make, has been life changing, empowering and inspiring. To realise that our connection to who we are within is in-truth our greatest guide to live a life of realness and richness beyond compare, through developing our awareness and expression of what qualities represent the truth or not, has re-defined the meaning of the word ’responsibility’ in a way that now is honestly a joy to embrace. The Ageless Wisdom Teachings through the ages have long spoken of this way of being, and again today it is presented and lived by Serge Benhayon, where who we are within is what we are here to live. Not only does this make sense but from my whole body and being feels absolute.

  62. I spent my entire life wondering why the world didn’t make sense. As a result, adding layers of protection to not feel what was truly going on and of course finding ways to escape or sympathise with how others were living and the choices they were making.
Enter Serge Benhayon and the teachings of the Ancient Wisdom and the truth was finally heard and lived from another. There is another way and it is pure and simple if we get out of the way and just get on with it and live it!

  63. The esoteric philosophy is indeed simple in essence, and yet in some ways indescribably difficult to live, for one must contend with one’s own will and the will of others. It is when one realises how incredibly difficult it is to actually live something so simple in full that one realises that there is something about the world that imposes upon us.

  64. Learning about life and understanding it energetically DOES make everything make sense. Without the fundamental and foundational detail that everything is energy, the mess of life we have created makes no sense what so ever. Also, understanding life on an energetic level, why things play out the way they do etc. allows for less sympathy, less reaction and more action to correct the ills at it’s root cause and not the symptomatic level only.

  65. “I thank Serge, and Universal Medicine, for simply showing us the love that we already are.” Hear, hear Katrin and also the responsibility to live the love that we already are with ourselves and all others.

  66. It is amazing the deep settlement that can be felt when you are offered an understanding of life not previously provided by parents, school or society. It is a rarity worth appreciating and that is before all the other enormous benefits that come from what Serge has presented on honouring and caring for our bodies and taking responsibility for our own health and well being…. Wisdom that has revolutionized my life and as a result those around me.

    1. Beautiful comment Samantha and so true for me also. The deep settlement that is felt from truly knowing who we divinely are in essence, is what allows us more space and freedom to embody and bring to life the light of our Soul, what we are truly here for.

  67. Changing the way we live because it feels natural and harmonious in our bodies is a very powerful and true lesson that you have shared with us, thank you Katrin.

  68. Before Universal Medicine I was very disharmonious towards my body. Now, in all my power it is the most sacred thing to me. My quality of life is improving by the day – a sure mile ahead of the rest of humanity.

  69. And why does it make sense? Very simply when words are spoken in truth they have a resonance that goes to our core and illuminates.

  70. If you are a curious individual, you will have queried many things in life – particularly the kind of received wisdom that maintains the status quo. As one such individual I sought answers here and there for years, never feeling what I was hearing was it. Enter Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine and oh, sweet relief – common sense and truth in one fell swoop! And the icing on the cake? The wisdom Serge accesses is there for all of us to do same.

  71. As we become more responsible and work through our issues and patterns of behaviour that aren’t so loving and let them go, it not only affects our own lives but has a ripple effect on all others by waking them up to the fact that if we can do it, so can they.

  72. Simplicity can seem like the easiest thing, so common place and readily available to you and me. And it is. We all know how to go for the simple option, underneath. But our world, our jobs, and our personal lives are testament to the simple fact that we do not. We go for complexity every time and build difficulties and stories that usually combine. Thank you Kerstin for this timely reminder, of how Serge Benhayon shows the simple joyful life is right there waiting, all we have to do is be prepared to choose it.

  73. Serge connects to what we are all capable of connecting to. What he presents is not his own information or research, it is the way he lives that allows his audience to understand the limitless of the interconnectedness of everything. We are part of this and the wisdom shared through him is available and very accessible to every single human being on this planet… So.. why is there only a handful of people speaking and living this wisdom?

  74. The impact of what Serge Benhayon presents is life changing yet, “Never ever has Serge told me to change anything.” That says so much of the Truth of what he presents.

  75. Same for me Katrin, for the first time in my life everything simply makes sense and this is thanks to an amazing, incredible and beautiful man, Serge Benhayon for shining his light on our world.

  76. “One of the most important things I have learnt from Serge’s presentations is that to love myself and to take care of myself is not selfish, but is the basis of being loving and caring with others.” I was always told and believed that it was selfish to put myself first before others, until Serge presented the simple truth that to love others we must love ourselves first, that turn around has completely changed my life, from one of self abuse to one of lovingly confirming myself.

  77. ‘Never ever has Serge told me to change anything – but he has helped me to consider how responsible I am on a daily basis for my own health and well-being.’ Well said Katrin, Serge has encouraged me to look more closely at the way we are all living and from knowing my own truth I have made changes to my life that simply make sense.

  78. The most important thing about the esoteric philosophy presented by Serge Benhayon is to discern whether or not it is true by applying it to the way you live. If you leave it as a mental construct, it can easily be debated, disagreed upon, and philosophically challenged. But if you live it, then you will know beyond doubt the merits or otherwise of what is presented.

  79. There is not one aspect of life that Serge Benhayon has not been able to clarify for me. Most recently he has been able to make sense of astrology which has had me baffled for years.

  80. I love the title here “It simply makes sense”. It is that simple. Since I study with Universal Medicine my life makes sense and the deeper understanding of the world and what is driving us is so precious to me. What is presented makes sense and brings sense to life. I agree from my heart.

  81. I couldn’t agree more Katrin. Love makes absolute sense, not only to ourselves but very clearly and evidently to our bodies as well. If we are honest we can see that the current state of health within our society is far from well, and also such is the degree of harmony being lived in the world. Does this not all stem from lovelessness? Are we willing to be honest with how and what we are choosing to live? Is is not love that we seek, what the world is in dire need of? I have found that through my willingness to be open to love and honest about how I was living, that I naturally respond to love as does my body with a resounding ‘yes’, with a deep settlement and with a feeling of coming home. Home to where we harmoniously belong together, as this is the home that we all are from.

  82. Last night I watched Serge Benhayon TV episode 4 on the true meaning of the word health and our our misinterpretation keeps us stuck in ill health and just like every other presentation I have ever heard it made total sense.

  83. The choices that we make in and throughout life is up to us, this is so clear to me now. It is absolutely our responsibility of how we live, how we treat ourselves and how we treat others and every choice we make builds a momentum for the next choice to be made. Do we make it about love or not. What Serge Benhayon continually and consistently presents has given me and many others absolute clarity with regards to this. Everything has been revealed .. is it then up to us how we choose to live once knowing this. Not only does Serge bring this absolute truth and understanding to humanity but also the Sacred Esoteric Healing modalities which are super supportive and the only true way I know (and I have tried many things) that clears unwanted energies that build up within our bodies, including ill patterns, ideals, behaviours and beliefs that we have picked up along the way through life. The more we are open to true healing the more can be cleared and healed.

  84. There is a continual clearing process that when we allow ourselves to become more and more honest happens more and more quickly. In this our true response ability begins to grow and we appreciate ourselves and our lives more and more.

  85. I never even considered before coming across Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine that there was such a thing as ‘absolute truth’, just my version and yours and everything in between. And from my head, calculating or analyzing it as best I could, this was certainly true. But what you’ve shared Katrin is the key… absolute truth is felt in the whole body and if it is not, then it is not the absolute truth after all but a lesser version that is suitable for the gain of a select few.

  86. Self love is the pathway to understanding true love. For what is often missing in our definition of love is the understanding that true love is beholding of all, including oneself.

  87. One of the most important aspects of the esoteric way, and one often even forgotten by those who adhere to its tenets, is that of discernment. Always discern that which has been presented to you. Question it, challenge it, but above all try it for yourself, so that your living way becomes the litmus test by which such is either confirmed as the truth, or as empty words.

  88. “I thank Serge, and Universal Medicine, for simply showing us the love that we already are.” I couldn’t agree with you more Katrin. What Serge shares and shows the world is to live from our body’s connection and to express it from all that we are. Love is the true unifying connection to the all and everyday is a new exploration of what’s possible living from that connection. Thank you Katrin and thank you Serge Benhayon.

  89. Yes! Being given the opportunity to see that we are responsible for ourselves is actually the most enormous gift you could ever receive. Realising that there is no one to blame, and that your every choice will either heal or harm you is liberating because at the end of the day, you are the one in control, so all you have to do is choose!

  90. Same for me Katrin, everything simply made sense to me after attending courses, presentations and workshops by Serge Benhayon. I was able to understand with more clarity why life is the way it is, and why humanity is in such a mess. I now, understand and know what my responsibility in this is and how I can contribute to true change. Not going into blame or overwhelm but feeling deeply empowered to be able to make a difference with simply caring, loving and working on restoring harmony in my life first before I can reflect this to our world and to humanity. It totally makes sense when we consider, how can we change what is outside of us if we are not willing to change or shift the disharmony within ourselves, our immediate family and workplace? Like learning to care and nurture ourselves first before we can truly offer this to others, is one simple example.

  91. Before knowing Serge I used to treat myself and my body in an appalling way with little or no self-love or care at all. So how can we truly love and treat others well if we don’t do it for ourselves? Well the answer is we can’t and the more love we have for ourselves the less harm we are likely to cause others.

  92. Serge’s presentations have helped me really understand too that I have a responsibility, not only to me and my health and well being, but to everyone else in the world. He’s helped me understand that everything I do affects everyone, and that there is a much much bigger picture to look at than just what I see immediately before me.

  93. Making ‘sense’ of this world is only possible when one understands the energetic interplay that underlies everything, and this is where Universal Medicine really shines.

  94. In today’s world we sometimes take more pride in intelligence at the expense of what actually makes practical sense.

    1. Yes, we make knowledge the be all or end all whilst totally disconnecting from our bodies which makes no sense whatsoever.

  95. Katrin Schäffer is so brilliant here with the simplicity that she writes about how her life has changed not from dogma or discipline, but with love, care and attention to detail.

  96. In a world where very little makes sense to me, Serge Benhayon shines a very bright light into the shadows exposing all this non-sense. But he doesn’t just leave us there; he then offers us the wisdom and the tools to begin to break down what is not true and presents to us what is, leaving every choice to make a change in our lives totally up to us.

  97. This is gorgeous Katrin and says so simply what I too feel from Serge – a holding and a willingness to share that we are all equal, that we can all love deeply, ourselves and each other.

  98. Hear, hear, Katrin and so true. “One of the most important things I have learnt from Serge’s presentations is that to love myself and to take care of myself is not selfish, but is the basis of being loving and caring with others”

  99. It makes such perfect sense you can’t help but ask why haven’t we been living this way all along? The answer to that made perfect sense also. I feel so incredibly blessed to have found Universal Medicine and to finally make sense out of life.

  100. I agree Katrin, Serge Benhayon has never told anyone what to do, he just shares with everyone how he chooses to live and how amazing his life is because of this. No-one I know can work 18 hours a day, answer 200 emails a day, be consistently loving and truly support everyone – everything he says makes complete sense to me as well.

  101. Katrin, you are spot on, what you write is absolute truth as it is received by the heart and so comes from the heart. It is widely said and I share that with you, that Serge has always offered us to re-consider our ways by simply observing ourselves and by this observation, we could ourselves strongly declare that at times we have been very irresponsible to the fact that we are here to serve and come back , not create and or continuing the abuse, harm, lovelessness, insidious evil that is going on in the world today. By coming back to who we are – we can simply feel our loveless ways – and so it is naturally to change them. By the support of Serge Benhayon we are shown , simply by his existence, that we matter and how we do and life is crucial to everything else in the world. Being it in China, Syria, Los Angeles or Siberia… We matter and when we take responsibility we can stop the harm, lovelessness and separation within us and so in mankind.

  102. ‘Serge Benhayon was the first, and until now, the only person who could explain to me a way to understand why our world is the way it is.’ I completely agree Katrin. I was in so much reaction to life that I was very unwell. Understanding has been one of the greatest forms of medicine for me.

  103. The truth felt from our bodies movements, is the living way that can inspire so much change. Thank you Katrin and thank you Serge Benhayon.

  104. I too felt exactly the same as you Katrin, everything in life started to make sense once I embraced the teachings presented by Serge Benhayon. I too felt the disharmony in my life, in our world and was wanting to change this but felt it was an impossible task. Now, I no longer feel this overwhelm but a deep understanding. From this deep understanding of why things are the way they are, thanks to Serge Benhayon’s presentations and workshops, I was able to accept what my part was in our world of disharmony and now, I know I can change this. Not by going out changing anything drastic but by me simply choosing to be responsible for my part in how and what I contribute to humanity. To choose to live in harmony with myself first before I can bring/reflect harmony to the world and to humanity. I also understand that, it is impossible to change our world if we are not willing to make changes ourselves in our own lives towards truth and love.

  105. My experience of Serge Benhayon is that he does not shy away from the big questions in life. He tackles them head on – because he has access to the wisdom that answers them.

    1. Yes, it’s quite something watching Serge Benhayon answer questions as he says away from nothing.

  106. All to often we tend to complicate life with material things outside of us and by letting go of ideals beliefs and pictures complicate our livingness. Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine presents the simple livingness of The Ageless Wisdom a practice and deeply loving approach to life.

  107. I jumped from here to there in my search for “the truth” but couldn’t find anything that FELT right. I’ve experienced that there’s a lot of things that might SOUND great to the ears or appear appealing but when really put to the test they didn’t FEEL right or simply didn’t make sense. Throughout history no one seems to been able to explain why things are they way they are and how everything ACTUALLY works. Some have of course but there’s been a lot of effort made into them being silenced because what they presented was too challenging for those who wanted control over the masses. What Serge presents feels true and sound and the thing is to live it not just talk about it.

  108. It makes sense to be honest with ourselves and from that deep honest approach I have been able to see how harming some of my choices have been, and as a result I am able to make more self-loving choices.

  109. I appreciate more and more this man Serge Benhayon, his understanding of human life and how to guide humanity back to our origins. The simplicity of the blueprint he presents absolutely makes sense Katrin and has given me a purpose for my life that I know to be the truth.

  110. Thank you Katrin. Before I met Serge Benhayon I was baffled by the way the world operated. I knew things made sense in as much as I could feel a divine plan was at play and yet I was unable to find anything that confirmed what I knew to be true or explain how it all worked until I met Serge Benhayon. Meeting Serge felt like finding an anchorage point where I could stay steady and observe rather being swept up and away by the tide.

  111. Serge Benhayon presents the absolute truth which already lives within ourselves, this cannot be denied as it is felt in our bodies and we are then presented with a choice to say yes to it and align to truth and love that we are or fight it in order not take responsibility for our lives.

  112. Right from the moment I sat in my first workshop with Serge Benhayon somewhere deep inside I knew that I was about to be presented with the answers to so many questions, but what took me a while to understand was that I already had those answers, I had just been looking in the wrong place, outside of me instead of turning inward and re-discovering the wisdom that I innately carry within. Over the years I have been presented with answers to so many questions that have just made sense, in fact everything Serge has presented me with has made sense, even though sometimes it has taken me a while to see it, but eventually through my lived experience I finally have been able to say – now that makes sense!

  113. Serge Benhayon is the first religious philosopher I have met who does not simply write off the unexplainable as the mystery of God. The way he has pieced together concepts such as reincarnation, karma, illness and disease and his philosophy on the reasons behind suffering in the world makes much sense. And no, contrary to what is claimed, he does not claim such knowledge as his own, but rather built by the many teachers through history, who although their language may have been different, communicated the very same message.

  114. Yep Serge Benhayon is without doubt the first person to really make sense of every aspect of life and why the world is the way it is, I count myself extraordinarily blessed everyday to know him.

  115. Taking responsibility for who we are and how we are and what we do far from being the onerous task that it is made out to be is actually very freeing and self empowering.

  116. We all know what it is like to choose something because you think you should or have to from a belief of not being enough, like losing weight, exercising, meditating, studying etc. it very rarely brings any true or lasting change and drops away to make you believe again that your not even enough to stay committed. I am forever grateful for Serge Benhayon presenting about connection first… and once we connect then we can feel more simply what gets in the way of that connection i.e. food, sleep, raciness etc. and able to feel what is there to let go of naturally.

  117. In making changes to the way we are living because it feels “natural and harmonious” gives us more reason to continue with those changes and to accept what unfolds from them, whereas making changes just because someone tells you to usually ends up with growing resentment and often disaster. I have always loved and appreciated that the immense wisdom Serge Benhayon shares may often challenge us in many ways, but it always makes sense.

  118. It all starts with ourselves Katrin, absolutely true, when we start to be responsible with ourselves, we naturally begin to be responsible with everything and everyone else.

  119. Often I was feeling overwhelmed with the state of our world, nothing seemed to make sense and thought I wasn’t able to contribute to making our world a more harmonious place. Now, after meeting Serge Benhayon and attending Universal Medicine I have started to see our world with a completely new perspective, with more clarity, understanding, love and joy. I now realise that true change starts with me first, starts with loving, caring and bringing harmony into my life before I can bring these qualities to others.

  120. Thank you Katrin… “…to love myself and to take care of myself is not selfish, but is the basis of being loving and caring with others…” This is very foundational in establishing true health, wellbeing and community.

  121. Beautiful Katrin, I love what you share here, how Serge Benhayon has shown many of us through his simple lived way that we can live in a way that is deeply nurturing of ourselves and that that is how we truly support ourselves and others around. To truly love we start with us first.

  122. So do I Katrin,
I forever hold the deepest gratitude for Serge Benhayon. For living loving myself dearly is something I too knew from deep without in, but until I was shown that it was a possible way to live my life, I never allowed myself to explore living it, let alone make the choice to allow my love to be my guiding light in my life.

  123. Letting go of old beliefs we have subscribed to that to love self is selfish and unloving, open us up to the opportunity to truly know ourselves and to feel how amazing and loving we are, and to know that the more we learn and appreciate that within us the more we can be of service to others without any imposition or need just the reflection of love.

  124. Love this Katrin, and I can relate to this as well as it was only since I met Serge Benhayon and have been attending his presentations and workshops that I have become aware that evolution has got nothing to do about me and improving my life which is the way I felt before, but evolution is me taking responsibility of how I choose to live every moment of my life so that I can reflect that to another that there is another way that is simple, honouring and evolutionary to all.

  125. Beautifully expressed Katrin. The teachings shared by Serge Benhayon are super practical and help us create our own foundation for living a life from our choices and the deep care and support we in turn give ourselves. This way of living has changed my life for the better and my way of living has become so much more fun. Thank you Katrin and thank you Serge Benhayon.

  126. Really understanding that self care is paramount not only for myself but also for the rest of the world was quite a game changer for me. My belief was that self care meant to reward myself in some way and then go back to however I had been living and repeat the same behaviours over again until the next opportunity came up to reward myself. Learning that self care has nothing to do with reward moments and everything to do with the quality of my daily living has brought lots of changes in my life. What I am also seeing is that these changes have an impact on those around me. Like many others around the world, I am grateful to Serge Benhayon for showing me that there is another way to live and that life is bigger than my own little bubble. I am part of humanity and everyone and everything is interconnected therefore I share a responsibility to care deeply in every regard.

  127. What I observed around me while I was growing up was that it was polite and caring to put others first. I adopted this belief that I could show the people I care about how much I love them by doing things for them and to put their needs before mine. Slowly, slowly I was getting more and more exhausted and even resentful at times. I didn’t realise this wasn’t working or loving until I started to truly reverse this way of being and started making self-loving choices. I started to learn to love myself first, this is certainly not selfish as I was led to believe but a very loving way to live. When I am truly loving towards myself, this just naturally flows out towards others because true love can never be contained, it expands pulling us to naturally want to share our love with others.

  128. I too couldn’t understand the state of our world, why it is the way it is and went into overwhelm. Serge Benhayon explains it so simply the truth of what is really going on in our world. From here I began to understand the simplicity of life and the overwhelm ceased leaving me to feel so empowered to make more loving choices knowing that my choices are not just about me but about humanity. I realise that I didn’t have to do anything drastic to make true change but simple day to day way of living expressing love and truth was all that is required to give back to humanity what it is desperately needing.

  129. What I find inspiring about Serge is that despite the enormous numbers of people he has inspired through his living way, he has never let that go to his head so to speak and thought of himself as special over any other. It truly is an energy for all that he lives and expresses from.

  130. What Universal Medicine presents is so practical, simple, and effective at helping humanity to throw off the shackles of subservience to an imposing distorting constant presence that seems to be there just to keep us separate from our true selves.

  131. The insights into life that Serge presents are invaluable and I now realise how much of a mess my life was before. I had no true responsibility as I didn’t see the point as I had never bought into any other religion or doctrine as everything seemed flawed in one way or another. Hearing and feeling the truth for the first time was a truly liberating experience and something that I would say does not lose its appeal when there is so much illusion, dishonesty and untrue dogma.

  132. And this is what is truly the wonder of what Serge Benhayon presents to the world… The most ancient and extraordinarily wonderful wisdom and pathway for living to reclaim our inner divinity is presented to us all, to humanity, in a way that simply makes sense.

  133. I have found simply through taking loving care of myself and being more open and loving with others it is a very natural way of being.

  134. As you have stated Katrin, what Serge Benhayon presents is natural and harmonious to the body

  135. Serge presents things very straightforwardly and as he presents it becomes obvious and clear and brings absolute clarity to something deep down I already know, what I find interesting is how hard I had worked at making sure I kept myself unaware of what was going on around me.

    1. Yes, me too Sally. Keeping myself unaware which I thought was keeping me safe and protected, but really had me held in disempowerment, disconnection and separated from humanity and my place within it.

  136. Without understanding it would be easy to fall into despair when looking out to the state of the world in which we live. Having access to understanding and knowing how the world works and why, is an absolute blessing that has not only supported me to be more at ease with myself and what is going on but has supported me to recognise and appreciate the light and beauty there to be seen amongst all the darkness.

  137. I agree Katrin. Serge Benhayon has shed so much light on all the problems that I saw both in myself, my family, friends and humanity at large and has allowed me to make sense of the chaos that we have all created. And the responsibility to bring harmony to the chaotic way of the world starts with me choosing a truly loving way to live.

  138. Short and simple – you have it in a nutshell Katrin. I so agree with you that “Serge Benhayon was the first, and until now, the only person who could explain to me a way to understand why our world is the way it is. What he presents makes absolute sense; why people behave the way they do, why there is so much disharmony, harm and lovelessness in our society – and how it is possible to change that. Not just to improve my life, but to serve humanity as a whole.” Everything he says makes so much sense to my mind – and also I sense that it feels so right in my body.

    1. Same here, the first and, until now, only person who could explain the way it is and also offer tools to equip me to live a life more loving and connected to all. He just makes sense.

    2. I love this part you’ve highlighted Sueq2012. It is when we have true understanding of a situation, it is then we no longer react to it but deeply know what is required to shift what is unloving. With understanding comes clarity, with clarity we cannot deny our responsibility.

  139. Katrin, I’m with you on this. Whilst I’m still quite good at making choices that really don’t work for me, I’m so grateful to have found Serge, who has completely made sense of why I make those choices. Understanding ourselves, is the first step to evolving.

  140. This was the same for me too Katrin. Since I started to attend Serge Benhayon’s presentations and workshops, everything in life started to make sense to me. It was so incredible to finally understand life and why things are the way the are.

  141. This is so simple and lovely Katrin. Yes, what Serge Benhayon presents makes so much sense and is the first time I have truly understood life and the way it all works. Yes I am free to choose how responsible I am in my part of everything, but why would I choose not to be when it feels so great to bring harmony into my life for the sake of the whole.

  142. There seems to be a kind of order to what Serge Benhayon presents. When Serge speaks I feel that I am reminded of something greater, and I connect to that and within this I feel I understand so much more myself. There are lots of things said all through history and all over the planet as to why we are here and the purpose of human life. Until I found Serge things never fully added up for me. Now I feel I live with the greatest truth which is a connection to my soul and divinity – from that all truth flows. This is very different to reading or hearing information because this is a living truth. When all of humanity has this soul connection we will have a one unifying truth. Imagine the harmony of that!

  143. Responsibility is a word we hear a lot lately, but how imperative is it that we take full responsibility for our actions and behaviours, it is indeed a key word.
I love the simplicity of your blog and the divine wisdom you present.

  144. What Serge Benhayon presents certainly makes sense, I agree with you wholeheartedly Katrin. Over the years Serge has presented so much of the Ageless Wisdom teachings and I can’t begin to estimate how many times I have said to myself “that makes sense”.

    1. I agree Shirl. It’s amazing finding out just how much we already knew. It’s not so much that Serge himself is teaching us anything new at all, it’s that he’s reminding us of everything we have left behind.

  145. Nothing I ever heard from anybody made me sit up and listen like the first time and every time after that of seeing Serge Benhayon. I felt for the first time I was feeling and hearing the actual truth even though some of the stuff he was saying was pretty far out. I can’t express how much my life has changed for the better since knowing him.

    1. Yes kevmchardy, nobody makes you sit up and pay attention like Serge Benhayon can.

    2. That is awesome Kevmchardy, it is so refreshing, inspiring and empowering to present absolute truth. Many people may run away from it because with truth comes responsibility and this could be too confronting for some or an absolute inspiration for others. From your willingness to embrace truth you inspire others to do so too. Thank you.

  146. You are so right lindellparlour the simple things in life are very powerful and can have a huge impact on our life. Thanks to Serge and his presentations I am seeing this more and more and understand the part I play and the responsibility needed to make such a choice. A choice that I am so very glad I have chosen to take.

    1. Same for me Julie. I am also so, so appreciative and glad to understand that simple things in life are indeed very powerful. By taking responsibility for my choices and what is needed to evolve and to bring harmony back to my life and to the world has been deeply inspired by Universal Medicine.

  147. It’s the simple things in life that we over look on a daily basis that makes us feel lost or overwhelmed. These things can be small and simple but have a huge impact on your life. Serge has presented these simplistic ways and it is our choice if we are willing to try them or not.

  148. Some of the most often used words when talking about Serge Benhayon and what he presents are “common sense”. Common sense that we somehow forgot, simple practicalities that support a loving way of living.

    1. I agree Jeanette. Far too often I have found we make life and relationships with others far more complicated than it needs to be. I am finding that living in a more loving way is a very simple practical approach that makes absolute ‘common sense’.

      1. I certainly made life and relationships complicated Angela, mainly through lack off confidence and trust in myself. The common-sense and practical way of living, bringing attention to detail and care with myself has re-built confidence as I am now surer of every step rather than being terrified of stepping into quicksands.

      2. Basic common sense 101. As an example, let’s have this taught at kindergarten and preschool rather than the drive I see now to have infants do mini university. Let them play and develop caring relationships, interact with each other in consideration of each other. All else will come from that. Let’s not strip children of their childhood in favour of supposed success later in life.

  149. What Serge presents is simple common sense and easily available to everyone. The results speak for themselves.

  150. Thank Katrin, yes it simply makes sense, in the face of so much that does make no sense , what is being presented at Universal Medicine is practical, doable, and fundamentally sound in all ways.

  151. Serge Benhayon’s presentations are making absolute sense, and they clearly show that the world is far away from that which it truly is. I can feel how his teachings supported me in getting closer to me, and through this deeper connection be more open in the world, celebrating every day.

  152. I totally agree Serge Benhayon’s presentations and teachings simply make sense.
Thank you Katrin for simply and powerfully presenting a beautiful and true testimony to Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine.

  153. Like you Katrin, I’m very grateful to know Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine. Serge’s wisdom and Universal Medicine are so much needed in this world. Thank you, Serge.

  154. I agree, it makes absolute sense what Serge Benhayon presents, reveals and teaches. For me Serge Benhayon also was the first and only one who has all the answers to the questions I was searching for answers in my life – and I know he will answer also all the questions I will ever have. Beyond words, he himself is the answer to so my questions through his living example.

  155. Like you shared Katrin: I haven’t changed them because of a discipline or imposed rule, but because it feels natural and harmonious to my body. It makes sense, it simply make sense what you share here, just like Serge Benhayon is when he is speaking from his body, like you are doing now. It is therefore not about what someones says and then implemented, but about letting it come from the body.

  156. “However, I haven´t changed them because of a discipline or imposed rule, but because it feels natural and harmonious to my body.” Yes Katrin, the body knows the truth.

  157. I totally agree Serge Benhayon’s presentations and teachings simply make sense. From the very first presentation I went to I knew that at last I was hearing the truth. It was amazing for his words connected to what I already knew deep within myself, it was like coming home again. Now I take responsibility for my choices, the way I live, love and care for myself, knowing that this love that is within me I can be with others. This has changed my life to a more joyful way of living and it is with deep appreciation that I thank Serge for showing there is a way of living, that is loving, joyful and true and that love is available to all equally for it is there within each and every single one of us.

  158. ‘Loving myself and to take care of myself is not selfish’ it’s an act of love and the type of love that gets noticed by everyone and felt by everyone. It’s so simple that at times it is hard for the mind to comprehend.

  159. Are we going to stand? Is a question that come up for me reading this blog. I feel the absolute grace and blessing of having found Universal Medicine and having met Serge Benhayon, who has inspired me to live my life with me fully in it. I have had moments where I felt deep hurts and had the opportunity to heal them with support of Serge Benhayon and the Esoteric Healing Modalities, this has brought such huge healing in my life – one that I have chosen. This is where I am now asking the question from: I am going to stand, stand for everything I have got and am still developing (and will forever do so), my answer is Yes, this so because I know I have such rich and deep power within me that I have to it let out in order to fully love again – and make sure everyone gets reminded of the same in them, this is why I am going to stand – I will stand forever with truth and love, with everything I have got.

  160. SO simple and great blog, it makes way for us to feel that there is another way.. and that this other way is easy and actually loving – yes you hear correctly – loving! Firstly to honor deeply ourselves with and which choices we make, which then result to be loving for others too! I mean that is magic – magicly simple!

  161. To be responsible enough to love and care for ourselves first, gives us the greatest opportunity to care for the rest of humanity.

  162. “Feels natural and harmonious in my body”, goodness me why wouldn’t we want this for ourselves and for all of humanity.
What Serge Benhayon presents resonates beautifully creating a spaciousness and harmony within my body. My challenge is to hold this and take it out into the world.
Thank you for sharing your experiences and wisdom.

  163. Even many of the ‘experts’ of this world have not truly explained everything in a way that makes absolute sense. There is always some element of ‘this world is a mystery’ and that that is simply the way it is. Serge brings everything back to its true simplicity and shows us the true responsibility we all have in this world to making it the way it truly should be.

  164. Katrin, beautifully expressed. Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine stand up for truth. The truth we have always known yet chosen to disconnect from. It is very refreshing to meet a man such as Serge Benhayon, who is truthful and honest, says it how it is and leaves us to decide on its truth. I have never found any reason to doubt what Serge Benhayon presents.

  165. Yes Katrin I agree with all you share here, what Serge Benhayon presents makes a lot of sense. Everything that is presented around self-care and self-love truly works and equally benefits everyone around us as well.

  166. it does make sense… Religion, science, philosophy, medicine, human interactions, relationships, pick any sociological, philosophical, medical subject and yes… What Serge Benhayon presents simply makes sense out of all these seemingly dense and complex issues and subjects. And is not just this, Serge presents to humanity the doorway, and opens the door, to the possibility of us all having this extraordinary overview of the energetic truth of all things.

  167. I absoulutely agree Katrin. Everything that Serge has presented makes sense. Everything that he says is for a reason. No little snippet is for nothing. It is up to us to embody what he is sharing here with us all equally.

  168. Beautifully expressed Katrin, what Serge Benhayon presents makes sense to every part of my body and being. It’s from these feelings of confirmation that I choose to listen and learn what he has to offer.

  169. I wholeheartedly agree Katrin it simply makes sense and I too “thank Serge, and Universal Medicine, for simply showing us the love that we already are.”

  170. Katrin I have found that what Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine present is an opportunity for us to feel our own truth and come to our own conclusions, and what is presented makes absolute sense.

  171. One of the most profound things I’ve learned from Serge Benhayon is that I’m responsible for all the choices I make – and only me. That can stop you short and require you to take what can be an uncomfortable stock on life lived so far. From then on though, it’s up to you.

    1. I completely agree Cathy, from the presentations of Serge Benhayon I have learnt that I can only ever be responsible for myself, and the degree of integrity that this is taken to has no boundaries, there is never anything that can excuse my choices of being down to another or a particular situation.

  172. What Serge has presented about the way the world is and what is happening, has made so much sense to me. In the past I would become depressed at seeing the terrible things we were doing to each other, and I would wonder, how does a loving God, who sees all, deal with all of this. I had no Idea of the responsibility I had, to all mankind, in the way I lived my life.
I now know, thanks to Serge and what he presents and lives in his daily life, how to live from and develop that deep love that resides within me.

  173. Susan, as someone else recently said “you took the words right out of my heart”. I remember the first time I heard Serge Benhayon speak, my whole body said YES this makes absolute sense, this is truth. It’s been like that ever since, my body deeply registers the truth of this amazing love with a resounding YES!

    1. Beautiful Barbara, I love that saying “you took the words right out of my heart”. It describes it perfectly.

  174. Summed up beautifully Katrin. I notice when something makes sense it resonates with my whole body – this is how I felt when I heard Serge. It wasn’t about working things out in my mind, it was my body that was saying ‘yes this is the Truth.’ Once I had felt that, there was no turning back.

    1. It is incredible to trust what we feel in our body. It guides us in every aspect of life. We have the ability to discern truth, so when we are presented with truth our body simply resonates and confirms what we receive when we allow ourselves to feel it. Our body never lies but our minds can sometimes trick us, which is more intelligent? It’s pretty obvious to me.

  175. I agree Katrin, What Serge presents is very simple but very real, and it makes so much sense.

  176. Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine teachings have made sense of my life.
It’s been a journey to unlearn a lot of what has been imposed and not making sense to laying a true foundation from which to be in my body and in this world.

  177. What an awesome, simple and powerful blog! I love what is being offered via Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine is about serving humanity and not only about improving our lives, although in my experience, that it very much does!

  178. One of the great things about what Serge Benhayon presents is the fact that we (and the world) would be better off if we incorporate to our daily routines elements (treating ourselves lovingly, speaking truth, conscious presence, etc) that ignite our very best. By making these things part of our life we grow as beings and thanks to this, we have more to offer others.

  179. Serge is great at presenting things as simply as they are, he lives simply, honestly, truthfully, with the upmost love and respect for all of us, a truly great inspiration for us all.

  180. Serge presents personal responsibility, and lives it in full in his own life. He does not ever dictate how we should live, but he sure lives in a way that inspires us all to be more of who we naturally are.

    1. You can tell when someone is not the real deal. You try their way and it never works out the same for you as it did for them. Serge Benhayon IS the real deal as what he presents allows us to feel the love in our body which is equal to his and everyone else’s.

  181. Simply shared Katrin and there is little more to add. Absolutely what Serge Benhayon presents makes sense which is why I have listened and made changes over the years as until I attended my first workshop life was not making sense. From that day my searching stopped and life became about understanding and practising looking after me and my choices so I can reconnect to that which is true.

  182. A line that stood out for me was “I have learnt from Serge’s presentations is that to love myself and to take care of myself is not selfish, but is the basis of being loving and caring with others”, because the more I have chosen to look after myself, absolutely, the more I have an awareness of others and want to contribute to what is going on in the world…..why, because ‘it simply makes sense’!

  183. What Serge Benhayon presents is very simple. Live from your heart listen to your body, eat the right foods that will support the body, and let love in. Serge has amazing understanding of all things, can’t say one or two, but everything. I have never me any one like him.

  184. The basics of what Serge Benhayon presents is so simple and straightforward. Sometimes we complicate and react to the meaning but it still doesn’t change the fact that what has been presented makes sense deep inside of us. When we are ready, the wisdom in what has been presented is patiently waiting to support us makes healthy changes in our lives and then everyone benefits.

  185. Realising that all that we do or not do not only affects us but (all) others as well gives a radical, revolutionary new perspective to making choices.

  186. I have grown up learning that the simple steps to take care of ourselves such as taking the time to nurture ourselves through a bath, taking time to connect and apply make up, taking time out for ourselves was selfish. We live In a country where our own Prime Minister promotes that the reason Australia loves our Mums is because when we become a mother we put ourselves last. Absolutely it’s time for this way of thinking to change.

  187. Very true, in learning how to love myself I have been able to take responsibility for my behaviour, the good, the bad and the ugly. Now I am much more aware of how I am with myself and others and as a result find I am much less reactive – that is great not just for me but for all those who come into contact with me. So simple, yet incredibly profound at the same time.

    1. This has been my experience too Lucy. To truly gain a lived experience and understanding that as I learn to love and take care of myself more, so my capacity to love all others increases dramatically. It was hard at first and took some time, but I now embrace and enjoy taking responsibility for all my behaviours, “the good, the bad and the ugly” – no judgement, just a willingness and purpose to love and embrace who I really am. Such a blessing for all our communities, as you say Lucy.

  188. As you say Katrin, what Serge Benhayon presents simply makes sense. I have never had anything imposed on me or “had” to change anything about me. I have been so inspired by the presentations I have seen over the years that I have made changes that have resulted in me being more self loving and consequently more loving to all those around me – I wouldn’t change this for the world.

  189. He is the guy that ‘just makes sense’ ..not always comfortable sense but a way of understanding life so simply it can be profound in its application.

    1. I totally agree Joel. I like how you shared ‘He is the guy that ‘just makes sense’, not always comfortable’, it is certainly uncomfortable when we are presented to understand the importance of taking responsibility for our every choice, thought and actions. I love that what Serge Benhayon presents, it shakes me out of my comfort zone because what I was choosing before I came across Universal Medicine was not helping me to evolve back to love, truth and God. I was living a life without purpose or an understanding of humanity but just coping to everyday life. Now, everything makes so much sense.

    1. I feel the same too Victoria, everything that Serge Benhayon presented has ignited all of what I already felt inside. His absolute dedication and love for humanity is inspiring to the core. Everything is now making sense to me and I understanding my true purpose in life. Whereas previously I felt I was living my life as though I was sleep walking. Now, I am fully awake, awake to the joy and splendour of life.

  190. I agree, what Serge Benhayon presents makes absolute sense and can’t be faulted – if it wasn’t so true and real and body-felt, it would be too good to be true.

    1. Everything Serge Benhayon presents ‘simply makes sense’ because he present it like it is, unimposing but simple truths straight from his heart. We can feel and relate to it because we already knew it all along what truth is.

  191. Brilliant blog Katrin. You have so beautifully expressed what I have also learnt from Serge Benhayons presentations that – ‘to love myself and to take care of myself is not selfish, but is the basis of being loving and caring with others.’ Imagine if we all started to choose to live in this way what a different world we would all be living in…

    1. I couldn’t agree with you more Carola- if we all learnt to love and take care of ourselves more, what a different world we would all be living- more respectful of others, honest expression and self worth and then self loathing, rejection issues would not exist, self/sexual abuse, bullying and marital violence would not occur, to name a few amazing positive outcomes.

      1. I second that , how simple and what common sense it makes to love and take care of ourself and yet we are not taught or asked to and yet when it is lived there are profound miraculous changes to our body and life.

    2. I’ve started to choose self-love and self-care, building up this amazing foundation everyday and from here I am learning to be the same way with others. If we all started to take responsibility and live from absolute care and love for ourselves and others, everything would be completely different. Our world will be in harmony and love.

    3. I too have previously thought taking better care and loving myself first was a selfish thing but this is definitely not the truth. By caring and loving myself first and building that as a basic foundation for myself has assisted me to be able to truly care and love others equally.

  192. Hi Katrin, I can say for me too that Serge Benhayon was also the first one that could explain why the world was the way it was, and without a single ounce of judgement, criticism or imposition – only presented with love. This inspired me to understand not only more about myself but about everyone else too.

  193. It has been more and more evident to me that most people consider that to look after yourself first is to be selfish, and with that comes feeling guilty for doing so. But I have come to a place in my life when I am at the top of the list of who to look after, and I have no guilt, as I know that the more love and care I have for me the more I have for everyone else.

  194. When I go to bed at night, I feel gorgeous in my own skin. When I wake, I feel that same gorgeous feeling. I don’t always feel it in between, but I do most of the time. I may get a little stressed, a little moody and very rarely a little tired, but I never feel distressed, overwhelmed, depressed, shattered, which is fairly common these days. This steady, loving way of being is since hearing the sense Serge Benhayon speaks and being inspired to bring more care, consideration and love to myself, it supports me tremendously and I feel better and better and seem to be able to support others more and more. I feel like as long as I really take care of myself to the tiniest detail, there is no limit to what I can do.

  195. Thankyou Katrin. I also found an enormous healing from Serges presentations because I did not understand why the world was like it was. The incessant need to understand and the pain of not being able to has been replaced now with insight, understanding, and acceptance. Strangely, though the worlds problems have not changed I now feel more accepting of the world the way it is and want to be a part. Previously I found the world confusing and contradictory, now I feel the true essence of love in people and can understand the stories they have lived that have led them away from their natural harmony. I certainly look at the world in a new way now and it’s much more embracing and positive view I hold.

  196. Yes, I agree the presentations Serge Benhayon gives are very real and relatable to ourselves and our daily lives. What he presents makes sense, I have put in into practice in my life and the results speak for themselves.

  197. Katrin, I agree, Serge has absolutely presented truths that make complete sense…and has helped me fill in all the areas left blank by every other counsellor, psychologist, guru, psychic, intellect or medic (from whence I sought answers.

  198. Beautifully and simply written, a wonderful life to embark on, taking precious care of oneself, in order to then serve others.

  199. A great and simple blog, which is sharing the truth Serge Benhayon presents. It all makes sense when you truly can feel what is going on.

  200. As you say Katrin Schäffer, for me too Serge Benhayon has been the first and only person that can explain to me why our world is the way it is and he continues to do so in every event he is presenting. New views and insights to the truth behind all that we experience in our societies are given continuously so, for us to consider and make part of our livingness if we choose to do so. What he presents always comes to me as something that I already know, but somewhere have forgotten about. Through the books, presentations and workshops the remembering of all that is known slowly returns in my being, becoming my way of living and from there all people I meet will be given the choice to re-ignite the fire of this knowledge inside themselves as well. How beautiful love is in its activity.

  201. Katrin, this was my experience too. It was the absolute sense I knew was the truth, I could feel it. Nothing airy fairy or out there just real everyday stuff, and it works. From this it was my choice to self love and self care, which has been life changing.

  202. Bang on Katrin! Serge only ever asks us to consider how responsible we are for our own wellbeing. I’ve not come across anyone in my life before who has been willing to take 100% responsibility for themselves. No blame, no resentment, no judgements on another, just purely choosing to make choices that support him everyday which then enable him to be the support that he is for everyone around him. And the best bit, never once has he suggested that it is an exclusive way of being. So many people, including myself are taking on the challenge of being self-responsible. And I can vouch for the fact that the more you practice accepting that your choices were your own, you start to notice that the level of drama in your life decreases…and your choice making becomes more considered about how it supports you and less about pleasing others.

    1. Simply beautiful Katrin and Elodie, to grow to who we truly are, I have found taking responsibility is imperative. My feeling is that integrity and responsibility as presented by Serge Benhayon, has brought a forever deepening level of awareness that has inspired the students of the Livingness to become a divinely loving student body.

    2. Very true Elodie, I can say that my life is certainly less dramatic now that I can see that it is my choices that have lead me to exactly where I am – no blaming others!

  203. Serge Benhayon presents, he offers ‘true guidance’. There is no telling, forcing or convincing, just clear energetic facts, allowing a person to come to their own choices and thus determine their own path in life. Brilliant and inspiring.

    1. I totally agree Matthew Brown that Serge Benhayon does offer true guidance in complete humility because he knows that we all know it too. I feel this is why it feels like it makes sense, because he is simply tapping on the door and asking us to open it and discover the truth we already know for ourselves.

  204. Thanks Katrin. Realising that loving me first is the first step to loving and being in relationship with all others and that, that is not being selfish was a big hurdle to overcome. When the choice is made to be a ‘Good Person’ there are lots of little hidden beliefs and ideals that go with this and these get in the way of being all that you are and encourage you to become all that you are not. Simple really, once the old beliefs and ideals are exposed and let go of.

  205. Katrin that’s really it isn’t it. Serge Benhayon is a living example that we are all love already. Nothing to add, no where to go, no ladder or mountain to climb just the process of re connecting back to the love that we already are. Simply beautiful.

    1. I love hearing those words – Nothing to add, no where to go, no ladder or mountain to climb just the process of re connecting back to the love that we already are. – I felt something shift within me as I read them tonight a deeper understanding of being love 🙂

  206. Yes Katrin, your words here so poignant about discovering ones own truth within and through the body: “However, I haven´t changed them because of a discipline or imposed rule, but because it feels natural and harmonious to my body”. When we feel the harmony in our body through loving choices to honour it, we feel the greatness of our truth, and the whole truth.

  207. Serge reminds me constantly of what I already know – that´s why it feels so familiar, clear and true to me. For me it feels, whoever wants to be reminded of the truth will appreciate Serge Benhayon’s teachings a lot.

  208. Stated so clearly and concisely in three paragraphs Katrin! I also study with Serge Benhayon, and have never been told to change anything either. I have however, been presented with common sense and very practical information on how to look after myself and my body. The information is absolute gold for wellbeing on every level.

  209. This blog you have shared with us Katrin is a glowing example of how caring for ourselves naturally enriches and supports all. It is an important distinction you make that this care comes from our feeling naturally, not from any hard rule.

  210. Katrin, I have experienced changes in my life as well and these changes all make sense! There is nothing prescriptive in what Serge Benhayon presents even though we tend to want it to be prescriptive as this is the way the world works. We have lost the ability to listen to our bodies so we want to be told how to live. What Serge Benhayon presents is so refreshing!

  211. Everything Serge Benhayon presents does make sense, after a lifetime of things not making sense! Instead of reacting to it all or giving up and joining in, Universal Medicine presents a complete harmonious way of living that brings understanding, responsibility and a deep love of humanity.

  212. I spent a lot of time reading trying to understand why the world is the way it is. Religion and philosophy do not provide a satisfactory answer but listening to Serge Benhayon I now understand that this world is of our own making. Everyday, in every action I can harm or heal depending on my choices. It is enough to look into myself, re-connect, feel what is right and participate fully to live a joyful life.

  213. Katrin as you so rightly describe ‘loving ourselves changes the world around us’ but self love was so difficult for me and I know for so many others. Universal Medicine supports people to explore why self love is so difficult for us to do and also presents ways of gradually becoming more self loving.

  214. Universal medicine was the first group of people who all made life makes sense to me. Growing up religion as it was certainly didn’t make sense, illness and disease was hard for me to understand, especially when I saw it happen to ‘healthy’ and ‘good’ people. Serge Benhayon was the first person who made sense of everything. It truly feels amazing to know that I have found a true way to live and express.

  215. This is so true Katrin. I feel privileged to be able to hear Serge present on a regular basis and to feel the absolute truth in what he is saying. Not only is it scientific it absolutely makes sense to my body as I listen and that is the best confirmation for me.

  216. I have heard Serge Benhayon present and I have considered “… how it is possible to change that. Not just to improve my life, but to serve humanity as a whole…” I am choosing to learn more about myself so that I can support my life and also support those around me, not by self sacrifice and exhausting myself but through sharing love and learning truth. It feels amazing and I too am very appreciative of Universal Medicine for sharing these presentations with humanity.

  217. a very important point you share here is that taking care of ourselves first is actually not being selfish.. I held this belief for a very long time and i know it is deeply embedded in society. Yet the thing to consider is that everything is energy, this relates to the fact that everything has a certain quality of energy. What i found was that if my own quality of energy was not in fact loving and nurturing then what i thought to be loving and caring towards others was actually just to fill my own emptiness and to seek recognition and acceptance. Now that i put myself first everyone around me gets so much more, and of such a hugely different quality. So in short taking care of myself is the most loving thing i can do for others.

  218. This short article captures it all as Serge Benhayon makes sense of everything for everyone not just a select few.

  219. I keep coming back to this article Katrin. I love to read its absolute sense because it mirrors my own experience of Serge Benhayon, and because once we see the absolute sense of love and self care for ourselves, we start to understand why the world is the way it is, and that change comes from taking responsibility in loving ourselves first.

  220. You express this so simply Katrin. For me too Serge Benhayon was the first person I met that helped me to have understanding of
the world and how we as human beings live our lives. My whole way of being changed when I learned ‘why people behave the way they do, why there is so much disharmony, harm and lovelessness in our society – and how it is possible to change that. Not just to improve my life, but to serve humanity as a whole’.

  221. So true Katrin.
‘Never ever has Serge told me to change anything – but he has helped me to consider how responsible I am on a daily basis for my own health and well-being’.
Self responsibility is the key to health and wellbeing.
I deeply appreciate Serge Benhayon and I am forever inspired to live with greater responsibility.

  222. For me this is the clincher — I haven´t changed them because of a discipline or imposed rule, but because it feels natural and harmonious to my body. — it was such a refreshing step to make changes to my diet and lifestyle not because I was following a rule but because I loved myself enough to do it…each step wasn’t massive…but each step was a huge confirmation that supported me with the next step.

  223. Katrin, if Serge Benhayon had imposed rules and discipline, I would have been ‘outa there

    1. Same. I was so fed up with all the ideals, rules, should dos, or even looking for someone to tell me what is right or wrong. And how refreshing to meet Serge who presents but never tells, expects or judges. It is all about coming back to my own truth, my own choices, my own responsibility. Yes, inspired by someone else who is living what he is presenting but only adopting what makes sense to me, is felt in my body and being, so that I can clearly say it is my choice and my truth.

    2. Yes me too Dianne. Initially it was rather a shock to me to find out that I was responsible for my own conundrums, but then I began to feel a sense of empowerment that I could change my life if I took responsibility and started to love and care for myself. There are no rules or “do as I do” with Serge Benhayon, in his loving way he presents us with truth and allows us to make our own choices.

    3. I so agree Dianne. When I am ‘told’ what to do it instantly brings up a strong ‘Why?’ just as if I am a small child being asked to conform to someone else’s idea of how I should behave. Serge Benhayon simply presents the cause and effect of our choices and gives the responsibility back to me to make my own choices with the understanding of whether that choice is self-loving or not.

  224. I agree Victoria, I was living a smaller version of myself before attending any presentations by Serge Benhayon. Taking responsibility for my choices around my health, the food I eat, what thoughts I allow, what I watch on TV, is empowering, and it affects everything else, including my relationships with others and the harmony I enjoy feeling each day.

  225. Simply true Katrin, what Serge Benahyon has been presenting over the years absolutely makes sense and offers us a true way forward. On the whole we are living so much less than the truth of who we are. To take loving responsibility for ourselves and deal with our own hurts and issues allows our natural harmony to restore.

  226. The presentation that caring for yourself and putting what you really feel first is not selfish has been a great lesson for me. I have always put others first and wanted to please at all costs. This meant I wasn’t being very true to myself. I am changing that now. Being true has become very important to me.

  227. Katrin, I’m completely with you. What Serge Benhayon presents makes so much sense and it has never been a case of telling me or anyone what to do, but always presenting the energetic truth of the matter and then me deciding for myself.

  228. Katrin I feel very much the same about Serge Benhayons presentations of how the World is as it is. To understand this means that we can take responsibility for our lives and then see that ripple effect affecting those around us in a positive way too. To truly see that each of us are Love and equal Sons of God and to keep reminding ourselves of this, makes judgement of ourselves and others not make sense.

  229. ‘One of the most important things I have learnt from Serge’s presentations is that to love myself and to take care of myself is not selfish, but is the basis of being loving and caring with others.’

If everyone were to take this basic responsibility seriously – to truly care for themselves by applying self-love first and foremost – would this not be a very strong foundation upon which we could begin to address the major issues so afflicting our world today?

  230. Thanks Katrin for your sharing here. I agree with you that no-one that I have ever met, made as much sense and brought greater awareness and understanding around our world and why we are the way we are like Serge Benhayon has. Mine and hundreds of others’ lives have been totally turned around because of the deep and unwavering love and commitment that Serge has for humanity.

  231. When we understand “why our world is the way it is”, everything changes, doesn’t it? We can “observe but not be absorbed”.

    1. Yes Ryoko we can observe and yet be the actor of own re-awakening and together we can pull ourselves up to the light.

  232. Beautifully and articulately expressed Katrin. This is my experience of Serge Benhayon also. Not only is he able to explain a way to understand the way the world is as it is, he is able to do so with great love, care, compassion and respect for each and every person no matter how they are choosing to live. To be completely free of the shackles of judgment and see people for the love that they are even when choosing to be less that this, is not only inspirational – it’s mind blowing (and heart opening) !

    1. …and when we do self care its natural flows ‘out there’, which is the collective expression of us all, will also start to be taken care of, so a great choice to make which actually supports us all.

  233. I agree it is very powerful, actually empowering, to have presented that we can choose to be absolutely responsible for where we are in our lives and if we choose, that, then we can change. When this level of responsibility is presented with love, as Serge Benhayon consistently does, it is also simple and beautiful to embrace as well as empowering. This is why thousands of people are becoming truly responsible and why this is a world movement that will change the world.

    1. Yes Simon, understanding true responsibility does start with our relationship with ourselves, to respond to ourselves with love and care, does start to change the society we are all a part of. In Katrin’s words – “Not just to improve my life, but to serve humanity as a whole”.

  234. It is amazing that once we take better care of ourselves, how this flows through to all aspects of our life. This is not selfish, but full of sense. Thank you Serge.

    1. Beautifully said, Francene. To care for ourselves first makes so much sense, as it not only benefits us, but those around us. There is absolutely nothing selfish about that!

  235. Thanks Katrin, I love the title of this blog “Simply makes sense” so true, so simple ( for me that is the key) and couldn’t agree more.

  236. Short, sweet and spot on. I totally agree with you Katrin, Serge Benhayon just makes sense.

  237. What Serge Benhayon presents makes absolute sense and it is so simple to live by. Self-love and taking responsibility for ourselves is the key and what a difference it makes when we also realise this. I knew the world didn’t make sense the way it is generally presented but listening to Serge has confirmed what I already felt but hadn’t made the connection to understand what was actually going on.

  238. What Serge Benhayon presents is actually so simple that you wonder why nobody else is thinking of it. I can relate in full Katrin – the keys to my health and well being lay in my own hands.

  239. Thank-you Katrin for this post. I too have found what Serge Benhayon presents that by caring and nurturing of ourselves and taking responsibility for the way we are first, can flow to how we are with everyone. Imagine if we all did that. Yes it most certainly simply does make sense.

  240. I too have been one who has loved the sense that Serge Benhayon has helped me make of my life and of the world. Before meeting Serge so many things in my life just didn’t make sense and I couldn’t figure out why; I seemed to be forever perplexed. Slowly but surely I have begun to understand the “why”. And like you; “I thank Serge, and Universal Medicine, for simply showing us the love that we already are”. Now that certainly makes sense!

  241. When Serge explains the intricacies of life, the reasons why things happen, and the reasons people do the things they do, all of my body nods in agreement.
He makes sense of a world that does not make much sense at all.

  242. I agree Katrin everything I have heard presented by Universal Medicine has been very simple and has just been common sense. By taking more responsibility for our own lives and taking care of ourselves more our own lives improve but also everyone’s at the same time. It is a win win situation!

  243. Yes Katrin, it makes wonderful sense. Being self loving and listening to our bodies in all that we do, and taking responsibility for our choices. The simplicity of it is beautiful.

  244. I agree Katrin, everything Serge presents simply makes sense. My whole body feels it not just my head. It has been for me to enjoy life, to live and make those self loving choices that lead onto the next, as I do my body speaks louder and clearer to what feels true and right for me or not. There is no following a a rule ( though at times I have tried to make these up in my head, the e.g I should be doing this or that, which leaves me exhausted and drained – but this never came from Serge or Universal Medicine.) Simply I know it is a choice as to how I live, listening to my body first and making loving choices from there – it really is as simple as that, each and everyday this is what brings true joy, health and vitality.

  245. Since all people are in essence created equally (carved from the same source), it follows that the way Serge Benhayon lives which allows him to have such extraordinary clarity and understand of life is something available to each and every one of us.

  246. Isn’t simple ‘sense’ just wonderful? Despite the term ‘commonsense’ for what we all naturally know, there is really not that much of it being seen in the world! Yes Katrin, it is simple sense to love and take care of yourself as a basis for being loving for everyone.

  247. Very simply, if we don’t appreciate ourselves first, we cannot see or feel appreciation for another. Serge Benhayon consistently makes sense.

  248. This is such a Gorgeous blog, it shows how simple and the truth is, how it truly makes sense and it is so within reach for everyone equally.

  249. It seems to me that it is ingrained in so many of us that we are to give to others before ourselves, because only then are we not being selfish. Somewhere along the line the definitions of self-care and of being selfish has gotten all muddled up; Serge Benhayon, through his presentions and way that he lives his life, is un-tangling that net of confusion. There is a monumental difference between caring for self and being selfish; and once that is grasped, with self-care becoming self-love, then the whole world benefits as that self-love becomes a natural love for others, without trying or putting yourself last. That’s the way to go 🙂

  250. To listen to the body is one of the pieces I was missing in my life before Universal Medicine. So when Serge Benhayon first spoke of this I listened but it took a little while for this to truly sink in. It is interesting though that we can discount the body so much when it is actually with us 24 hours a day in everything we do. It makes so much sense that the body can tell us what we need to know about any choice we have every made because it was there for every single choice we have ever made. Having now changed my relationship with my body and listening to it so much more intently has changed so much in how I go about my day. The simplicity in the truth that Serge Benhayon has shared that, ‘The body is the marker of all truth’ absolutely makes sense to me.

  251. A beautifully simple and good sense blog, Katrin. Serge Benhayon has helped me to feel a new relationship with my body, and my attitude towards it and myself has changed from mentally overriding it and using and abusing it, to a much gentler and respectful approach. It is still work in progress, but I know I am always supported by Serge in his unwavering consistency of presenting and living the truth.

  252. Totally agree Katrin and it was exactly what my 85 year old mum said when she heard Serge for the first time, it makes complete sense.

  253. I couldn’t agree more Katrin. Everything Serge Benhayon presents makes absolute sense and deep down I can always feel it is truth I have always known.

  254. Yes, I agree. I listened to Serge Benhayon because from the beginning it made sense, or there was a feeling of truth in it. It actually resonates with the part of me that makes sense too. And then gradually taking it into my life is what changes things.

  255. Hear Hear Katrin I agree, Serge Benhayon has never told me or anyone I know what to do. From all the audios I have listened to, to the workshops and courses attended, even down to personal correspondence not once, has Serge ever told me what to do. Everything is simply presented in a way, as you say, that makes sense to my body and my head, and it is left for me to feel and make the choice as to how I live.

  256. I love your simple article and the title “it simply makes sense”. I found it exactly as you say. On meeting Serge Benhayon and hearing him present and witnessing how he lives, for the first time everything started to fall into place. And life started to make sense.

  257. I agree. It totally makes sense and taking responsibility for me is how I can bring more truth to the world.

  258. Yep complete and utter sense. My whole body can nod when he speaks because it makes such sense.

  259. Beautiful Katrin, thank you for summing up so simply what Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine present.

  260. Beautifully shared Katrin and so very true. I too thank Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine for not only making sense of life but also presenting the quality in which I can live, with love.

  261. I was looking for more in life and Serge Benhayon presented it to me. No imposing just simple facts, that are revealing why the world is where it is at. Like you, I deeply appreciate having met Serge because since then, my life has changed enormously in a good way, because I chose to live differently.

  262. I recall doing the things that didn’t make sense at all and questioning why I would behave in a certain way. I would have to agree since attending Serge Benhayon’s presentation’s life makes sense and me, well I make sense too

  263. Thank you Katrin, I can relate totally to your experience. Since meeting Serge Benhayon I have learnt to rebuild a foundation with self love and respect for my body that has allowed me to shed off a lot of hardness and protection and embrace the tenderness that I am as a man, I now also have more understanding and appreciation of how this affects those around me in so many different ways.

  264. I totally agree with you, Katrin. What Serge Benhayon presents is not an ideal or belief, it is what he knows as true by the way he lives, and it makes sense. Whether to take it as an inspiration and look at the way we live and what changes to make, or not – is entirely up to each one of us.

  265. Thank you Katrin.
Serge has also inspired me to take much more care of myself and to understand that love is not what I do it is who I am. So simple and so powerful.

  266. Agree Katrin, everything presented by Serge Benhayon made sense to me as well – simple yet powerfull!

  267. Yes Katrin that was big for me to learn as well -” to love myself and to take care of myself is not selfish but is the basis of being loving and caring with others.” Thank you for a great blog.

  268. I agree Katrin, Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine helped me understand my responsibility with my health and well-being, never imposing rules, and it’s because it has felt natural and true in my body that I have made changes, with profound results.

  269. Katrin I too have learnt that important lesson about self-love and self-care not being self-ish. It’s amazing how hard it was to come to terms with it and I’ve started to realise that the reason I had an issue with this was because I had so much investment in what other people thought of me that if I did not keep doing things for “people” then how would I get all the praise i craved? It’s certainly taken time to let go of that and build a stronger connection with myself (through self-care and self-love) so that I am less focused on that approval. What’s worrying is that before Serge Benhayons presentations I thought I was normal (yet something didn’t make sense) – as you’ve so clearly stated what Serge Benhayon says simply makes sense and has done for as long as I have known him. When we examine the reality of the world there is so much that is not working – yet few truly want to see the whole picture.

  270. Thank you Katrin, that is exactly my experience too – Serge Benhayon makes sense; and what him and Universal Medicine present is relevant to us all and to how we live our lives, it is all so relevant.

  271. Your words are so true Katrin. What Serge Benhayon presents are simple and practical truths about life that are wise and founded on a deep level of responsibility to yourself and to all others equally in all that you feel and all that you do. Further, it is exactly this level of responsibility that many in society these days are actually running from and is why his presentations can be exposing for some…

  272. From the very first course I attended 6 years ago, everything Serge Benhayon presented felt true to me. As I observe so many in search for truth in this world I am so enormously grateful I found it. One by one people will begin to see and feel all that Serge presents is from absolute truth.

  273. I agree Katrin. What Serge Benhayon presents about life and humanity makes total sense and challenges the constructs of how we’ve been trained to live in this world.

  274. Great Katrin. I have found that taking care and loving yourself is key cause then you can actually share this with others. Also, you can’t change others you can only change yourself- That has a huge effect but.

  275. What Serge benhayon presents is unlike anything I had heard before – and it does make so much sense. I see people struggling in life to make sense of it. This is one of the greatest hits I have received from Universal Medicine. I understand life, that we don’t have to make it work the way it currently is, that there is another way. Knowing that has given me the freedom to feel and live with purpose.

    1. I agree Fiona, knowing that there is another way to live and that we do have a choice in everything we do is very empowering and quite simply, life changing.

    2. So true Fiona, with the knowledge and understanding what Serge Benhayon is presenting has allowed me to see and feel another way of actually living.. Not just existing. I too see people struggle and fight with life trying to work it out and sometimes it is not my place to tell them but I can simply show them another way by living it.

    3. Fiona, it was such a relief to know ‘that we don’t have to make life work the way it currently is’. I agree, there is such freedom in living in another way.

  276. My experience exactly Katrin. Everything Serge Benhayon has ever presented has made complete sense and is always simple and never complicated.

    1. I agree Mick, Serge Benhayon just makes sense. An example of some simple sense that helped me was; I knew sugar was exhausting me but I was too exhausted to stop eating it. I wanted to stay up late at night and needed sugar to do it, in fact I needed sugar to get through the day full stop. Serge Benhayon’s presentation of sugar confirmed what I already knew, that I was in a never ending cycle of stay up late, eating sugar, waking up tired, eating sugar. Light bulb moment: just go to bed earlier.. yes, that makes sense! Instead of staying up late and eating sugar to do it, why not just go to bed early! This has changed the way I feel enormously. Enormously. I left sugar behind years ago and realised it kept me in a fog, fed bugs breeding in my gut and just made me feel generally unwell.

  277. Thanks Katrin. Attending presentations by Serge Benhayon of Universal Medicine has completely changed my understanding of life, freeing me from so many ideals, beliefs and constructs that held me prisoner for so many years.

  278. Out of all the things in the world that make no sense what so ever to me, Serge Benhayon has only presented what makes sense, not only to me but many others

  279. Beautiful Katrin. One of the important things that I have learned also is the value of self care and the effect that caring for myself has on those around me and how I am with those around me. Super simple and amazingly gorgeous.

  280. Thank you Katrin for your loving and succinct article. I agree with all that you have said including “one of the most important things that I have learnt from Serge’s presentations is to love myself and to take care of myself is not selfish but is the basis of being loving and caring of others” – and so I am finding as we choose to embrace the fact that we are intrinsically divine love greater awareness is unfolding for us showing how we may be there more truth-fully for others.

  281. Thank you Katrin, so simply written. Yes, Serge does make total sense in what he presents and with this, comes such understanding to the many things that happen in our world.

  282. Thank you Katrin, I totally concur – Serge Benhayon lives love and is a great inspiration to show how simply life can be enjoyed if lived in the fullness of our own innate love – beautiful blog.

  283. I love what you share. To change the disharmony, harm and lovelessness in our society, we don’t have to go out on a mission or crusade to save everyone, we have to start with ourselves. It starts with self-love & self-care, which then develops into the same love & care for all.

  284. Simple and to the point Katrin. I also found that Serge Benhayon could answer all of the “lifes questions” I asked him. Over my life I had gathered many and his answers always make sense to me. The simplicity that he presents is only complicated when we let our stuff get in the way – but coming back to love has turned out to be the ultimate answer of them all.

  285. Simply said Katrin, though your blog comes with a lot… Completely understand what you mean. For me too, what Serge Benhayon presents is one of the only things that seems to make sense about life.

  286. I completely concur with what you are saying here Katrin – thank you for expressing with such grace and simplicity.

  287. “What he presents makes absolute sense; why people behave the way they do, why there is so much disharmony, harm and lovelessness in our society – and how it is possible to change that. Not just to improve my life, but to serve humanity as a whole.” I so agree Katrin. Serge Benhayon is the real deal and an inspiration to me. He presents – and it is then up to us to choose to change, or not. No pressure, no judgement – just a holding everyone in a loving energy.

  288. Beautifully expressed Katrin, in particular “Never ever has Serge told me to change anything – but he has helped me to consider how responsible I am on a daily basis for my own health and well-being”.

  289. Katrin, perfectly said. I find that we are in a sea of distraction and misguidance…but when we see someone just presenting the pure truth of who they are we remember who we are.

In seeing that life can be lived in a sacred & Loving manner, I was able to grant myself permission to honor myself in ways I had been painfully dishonoring for a very long time.

I have found how to take responsibility and change my life by feeling what is true for me and like you said, “I haven´t changed them because of a discipline or imposed rule, but because it feels natural and harmonious to my body.”

Hurrah for this loving truth being lived more and more on the Earth!

  290. Your words Katrin capture simply all that Serge Benhayon presents and what I and many others have experienced in that I have NEVER ever been told what to do but have been shown a constant reflection and reminded and seen for all I am even though this is not what I present to the world. This has been a constant invitation to be and live all of me during my life very day as well as taking responsibility for all my choices as these create the life I have.

  291. If we open up to the possibility that there is much more to us and life than meets the eye, we are making one huge step towards discovering the mechanics that are working away behind the scenes that create the life as we know it. Serge Benhayon has often been quoted for saying that ‘Everything is energy and thus everything is because of energy’. This phrase has so many levels of meaning and understanding that deepens with one’s chosen level of awareness. That is the beauty of the Way of the Livingness – it is up to each of us to be students of our lives, our choices and our connection to the innermost as we unfold layer by layer until we stand (metaphorically) naked with no disguise and no protection. Just living the amazing person we have always been inside, quite ordinarily, like being brilliant is just another day at the office.

  292. For years I had the belief that if I put myself first, ahead of my children, husband, work that I was selfish and I would have to get ill for me to stop and look after myself and then I felt guilty for taking time off from work. What Serge Benhayon presents is not rocket science but it might as well have been.

  293. I agree. Serge Benhayon has never told me I had to do anything. He has never made any rules to follow. He has always maintained that I know the truth within me about how to live a life that is abundant in love, joy and harmony. It is not idealistic nor a blissful utopia. It is the life he lives by example, not aiming for perfection, but as an expression of that love that he is and we all are. He has presented us with how we can connect to our deeper sense of knowing and living from that consistently by making choices that support that connection. It is simple, like all truths.

  294. ‘Serge Benhayon was the first, and until now, the only person who could explain to me a way to understand why our world is the way it is.’ Re-reading this blog, it really striked me how important and true this line is, and I agree, nobody – ever – has been able to explain to me why the world is the way it is, or confirm that what I feel is true. That is quite shocking!

  295. I responded to the quote that self love “… is the basis of being loving and caring with others.” This is true and very relevant to life. I used to work in social housing and made a decision to leave because I could feel I was suffering a burn out and felt I was fighting against the tide. It was some time ago and, although I feel that I made the right decision at that point, I know that since attending Universal Medicine courses I would respond very differently to working in a social care environment now. I can see it in my daily life and through how I support people around me. I am able to offer so much more in my reflection because I support and care for myself and this acts as more of an inspiration then ever telling someone to do this themselves, but not living it. I am to a large degree living what I speak. It is life changing. Thank you for sharing your experience.

  296. I completely relate to what you said about learning that looking after your self is not selfish. I have found that my capacity to care for others and think of others, is so much greater when I have taken care of my self. When you are exhausted, cold, hungry, or whatever the situation, it makes it a lot harder to even think about caring for others.

    1. Hi Rebecca, yes I have had the same experience. If I have pushed myself too hard, not had enough sleep, not eaten properly, I am grumpy, less patient and don’t make time to consider others. When I look after myself and am considerate towards myself, I am more likely to be like that with others. It makes a lot of sense to me.

  297. Katrin I too celebrate all that Serge has brought, ‘ simply showing us the love that we already are’. And it’s not just that I am finding more of me, I see others around me expanding and allowing more of their inner beauty to show through too

Finally finding someone who actually ‘walks his talk’ has been such a blessing after experiencing so many who didn’t!

    1. Exactly Kathie there are very few things that actually make sense, What Serge Benhayon presents and lives is one of those.

  298. Often I have found in life that when I am told to do something I would want to ask ‘why?’ what is the reasoning behind what I am being told. If I don’t know I am less willing to do it. With Serge Benhayon he presents the ‘what’, ‘why’, ‘where’, and ‘how’ and leaves it at that, allowing us space to make a complete informed choice. Nothing is hidden with Serge you get to see and feel everything for how it truly is.

  299. Katrin this I totally agree with, everything Serge Benhayon presents does make complete and utter sense. Like yourself, every change that I have made has come from a knowing and an understanding from my body that things needed to change because the way I had been doing things were having an impact on the way I felt as a person. Lovingly making choices for myself has changed this. I feel Amazing.

  300. Hi Katrin. Thanks for this awesomely simple blog. I have had the same experience with Serge Benhayon – he has never told me what to do, only brought me understanding as to why I do what I do – which has allowed me to then make changes that are more loving to my body.

  301. Hi Katrin, it was such a relief to me to meet Serge Benhayon who does make complete sense of everything which is going on in the world suddenly I could understand the why behind all the disharmonies and from love begin to learn acceptance. Thank you for a simple and clear blog.

  302. Absolutely Katrin, until I met Serge Benhayon the world did not make sense to me there were so many questions that were unanswered, through the Universal Medicine presentations I have begun to understand why the world is the way it is, and my responsibility and part I play in it.

  303. Thanks Katrin, I couldn’t agree more. Serge Benhayon presents life and how it can be so simple, when we re-connect back to and honour what we have always known inside. It is not selfish to do this, but actually opens us up to humanity more, because we have a greater understanding of ourselves and therefore everyone.

  304. So simple, yet so true. I was always led to believe, or belittled if I did, take care of myself and made to feel that it was selfish. I have learnt, and am continuing to learn, the hard way that nothing is further from the truth. Loving choices for oneself serve everyone at all times.

  305. Thank you Katrin for one of the best blogs I have read. One of the many gifts Serge Benhayon brings us is understanding. With that understanding we then have the option to make choices.

  306. Your blog Katrin makes Absolute Sense to me.
When I was growing up I was reminded all the time that to take care of yourself was selfish.
Until I met Serge Benhayon and applied the teachings of Universal Medicine to my life, my ingrained patterns of self neglect were continuing to harm my body.
Thank You Katrin for a very powerfull short blog.
I love it – just my kind of reading!!

    1. Yes I grew up with that belief too Bina that you had to put others before yourself or you were being selfish. It is a strong pattern that many of us carry, and it is truly harming to the body.

  307. Beautiful Katrin – you have encapsulated the truth about Serge with such clarity and grace. Thank you.

  308. This is great Katrin, so many great points and truths raised here with simplicity. Thank you.

  309. This is a beautiful and straight forward account of what I have experienced as well – how we have been inspired to simplify our lives and become more aware of how we are with ourselves and with others.

    1. What I realise Mary is, that not only had I forgotten how to love myself, I had built up a huge collection of reasons why others should love me first, ouch!

  310. I agree Katrin, it does make very good sense. In fact the ‘absolute sense’ that you refer to resonates so strongly within me that I cannot doubt it or question it. It is simply all about love.

  311. Katrin I whole heartily agree – Serge is a man who makes things make sense. This is something that is needed when we have 13 year old girls that are sad because they are alcoholics but just do not know what else to do to cope. All teens are struggling and the adult population has just gotten better at managing and hiding their pain, but still do not remember how to heal it. Thanks to Serge we have been reintroduced to our own truth which is that we can heal through self-loving choices.
