A truth-full, vital journey worth pursuing

by Eduardo Feldman, Ph.D, Barcelona, Spain

I met Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine (UniMed) three years ago. Since 2009, I have regularly attended workshops offered in the UK twice a year. From everything I have seen, heard and experienced, it is clear that what has recently been published in the Australian media is factually wrong, misleading, unnecessary, unfortunate and harming. To put it bluntly, the press depiction of UniMed is certainly surreal, as the gap between the reality and truth of what is presented by UniMed, and what the press has published, cannot be wider or deeper.

I came across UniMed without really having a clue of what was in store for me, without any expectation of what I could gather from it, and without any need. I had not read anything from Serge (well, actually I tried to, but it was way too hard for me, and I never passed beyond the second page of the introduction to ‘The Way It Is’.). I remember vividly asking myself, “what is this guy talking about?” I had not heard any audio either. On top of that, I only got vague answers to my question of “what is this all about?” In spite of all this, at the last minute I made up my mind and decided to check it out.

I have a PhD in Political Science. Political science for me was not just work that helped me to pay the rent – it was my main source of personal identification, and my privileged way of getting recognition from the university students I taught for almost nine years.

I attended my first UniMed workshop with a scholarly sort of attitude. It did not last long however, as it blew up in the air when we paired up to ‘feel another person energetically’. I did feel energy clearly. Yet this was so far away from my daily life that I was not sure what to make of what I felt. Was my mind playing games with me? Was it for real?

The day after, I attended my second UniMed workshop. The whole day was a ‘hands on’ kind of activity. Although I had not ever taken any healing course (so thought I had no clue of the body in terms of energy), what I felt during this workshop both as a ‘client’ and a ‘practitioner’ was just amazing!  Not only could I feel the effects on my body of what took place during that ‘day of healing’, I also could feel clearly the value and potential of my hands as a ‘tool’ of love (in the pure and deep sense of the word), of expression, and healing. Something about this feeling ‘got me’. Even if I could not make too much sense of what happened there, I felt deep inside that what was presented by UniMed was something worth pursuing.

These two days proved to be as odd as they were powerful. Here I was, someone who was highly trained to relate to the world with and through the mind, starting to discover the power of the hands and of energy. What I discovered there (and later confirmed), made me stop and realise the ill-quality of choices I had made in the past, and the extent to which I was really lost, oddly enough, without knowing I was in total separation from myself.

Disorienting as it first was, the whole experience felt to me to contain plenty of beauty and love. I experienced a strange feeling of coming home. I could feel it all over my body (particularly in my eyes and my facial expression). What I felt was huge, yet very simple. This was the beginning of a beautiful journey back to a different version of me; back to love and back to God. I do not say this lightly, for I considered myself an atheist up until very recently when I started noticing how it felt untrue in my body to call myself this. Although the journey has not been an easy ride at all, mainly thanks to the momentum of previous choices and the hurts associated with them which I carry, in these three years I have experienced many things in my body that feel so absolutely true that I know that there is only one way forward for me. This is to continue to return and expand on the ‘markers’ I have already established when I was able to connect deeply with myself, and could feel the simplicity, depth and beauty of it.

From my first two workshops in England I realised that the mind and body do not necessarily agree on what and who to trust, what to open up to, etc. I have already made up my mind about this, and as a result I have started listening to my body, and trusting it increasingly. This increasing awareness of the world of energy and its impact on the physical world is not always easy, as sometimes you get contradictory messages from your mind and body that may affect you because you wish things were different. Yet, for good or bad, what is clear to me is that what is true is what the body registers. My body is really clear about Serge and UniMed. They are as truth-full as it gets. They have my full trust.

Opening up to the possibility of what Serge presents, in full command of my mental abilities, and always discerning through my body, I started making fundamental changes in my life. Although it would be way too long to write in detail about this, let me share with you some of them. My way of being in the world has started to change tremendously, for the better. Overall, in complete opposition to what was published in the press (e.g., being brainwashed), thanks to my affiliation with UniMed and Serge, I feel discerningly empowered. My livingness has improved dramatically. I sleep much better now. My body feels much better thanks to important changes in my diet that I have introduced discerningly. I feel more vital. Although I am in what is going to be a long journey, my relationship with life has become already way more loving.

In these three years, thanks to my choices, I came to appreciate my body as never before. Now I care much more deeply for it. I also have started learning to ‘read’ my body. Now I am much more aware when something I do harms me – so I have the possibility to stop doing it. Although I still have a way to go in fully embracing a true quality of life that I know is possible for me, I have felt true moments of love and joy, and can recognise me as the loving and joy-full human being I truly am.

My gratitude goes to Serge and UniMed for helping me to discover that there is a grander version of me that I can aspire to become on a permanent basis, as a result of me making more consistent loving choices. My love to him is beyond this life.

The world we live in is tremendously void of love and of people that work hard to really bring truth to it. Serge and all of the Benhayons are among the few people that really stand out big time. What they present is extraordinary on all counts. It is a gift for humanity.

  1. ‘I feel discerningly empowered’. This is what I feel as well.
Knowing how life energetically works and feeling it through my own body, allows me to understand so much about me and what surrounds me. This is really freeing and empowering. Nothing to do with brainwashing, but with really confirming what I already know.

  2. From childhood we’re schooled in rote learning, to memorise and recall data – mental intelligence is valued and given singular priority. Imagine the folly of this: focusing on one part of the body to the exclusion of all else. Connected to the “whole intelligence’ of the body, we’re given access to a grand and universal knowing.

  3. “This increasing awareness of the world of energy and its impact on the physical world is not always easy, as sometimes you get contradictory messages from your mind and body that may affect you because you wish things were different.” I also have experienced this, wanting things to be different and therefore blocking the energetic truth, which is quite frankly disastrous for the body.

  4. Once we feel something in the body as a real and tangible lived experience we cannot deny and cannot be denied this truth.

  5. There is no harm in being inspired to honour and take care of one’s body, quite the contrary it is beneficial to all.

  6. Eduardo your story, new awareness and healing is shared by many. To be supported to discover to the ‘grander version of ourselves’ and live it is a blessing and runs counter to the insecurities, abuse and issues most people live with. It’s crazy that Serge Benhayon, who has brought these truths to humanity in the most loving way is the one vilified and attacked.

  7. “From my first two workshops in England I realised that the mind and body do not necessarily agree on what and who to trust, what to open up to, etc. I have already made up my mind about this, and as a result I have started listening to my body, and trusting it increasingly.” This is so correct, I’ve recently had a very clear conflict between what my mind and what my body says – my experience is that my mind and my thoughts can lead me completely astray, whereas my body leads me to exactly where I need to be.

  8. Meeting Serge Benhayon, has definitely being life changing in every aspect of life, so that the way we move and walk reflects the Love and Divinity we all feel and it is up to each of us to allow that to deepen our life if we so choice as Serge is always sharing as presenting it is our free Will.

  9. Undoing of mind’s domination is not so easy as it is pretty skilled at swapping ideals to pursue to suit its agenda, and we can so easily convince ourselves that we have changed when in fact that is not quite the case.

    1. Spot on Fumiyo, when our mind has dominated for so long, it’s easy to think we have changed it when in fact we have simply swapped one agenda for another that will equally take us off track.

  10. Having been a student of Universal Medicine for the last 13 years I know the organisation so very well, so when I began to read the distorted stories that were being published it wasn’t hard to tell that “the gap between the reality and truth of what is presented by UniMed, and what the press has published, cannot be wider or deeper”. I struggled to understand why someone would want to take down Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine, after all they were presenting the wisdom and common sense that has been missing in the world and with it, the answers to many global issues. This type of irresponsible and scurrilous reporting is actually keeping the truth from a world which is clamouring for it.

  11. I love what you have captured here Eduardo of the surprise it is initially for those of us who have spent all our life building and resting our mental ability, to find that our body offers us a great deal of awareness and at times our thinking mind may not agree with the body! The fact that our body is much more reliable than our mind took me a while to get used to, but once the seed of thought was there, it was simply a matter of noticing the ongoing confirmation in life that shows this to be a absolutely true..

  12. This blog was written five years ago. I have not read this for a long while. What is beautiful is how much it captured the moment and how much it captured what is this all about. Lots of water flowed under the bridge since then. If anything, everything went to a deeper level of living and understanding and a beautiful rising feeling of solidness and awareness that there is much more to go for. Five years of confirming that the Benhayons are indeed a gift for humanity. An incredible one.

    1. It was beautiful to read your blog and this comment too. Having met you briefly in person in 2015 I would never have guessed your background. You are a testament to how much we can renounce things that we take on that are simply not us.

  13. Our body is amazing and as a society we do not listen and give the love towards it that it deserves. It is incredible how much we abuse and how far we go to disconnect from our body when in truth it has all the answers to living a joyful life.

  14. As a humanity we can ignore our part in the woes of humanity, the violence, the illness, the disdain and disregard. Or we can acknowledge that we too live these not so loving behaviours and begin to halt them in their tracks. Our lives and how we live are a clear picture of how we choose to make our life.

  15. “A gift to Humanity”. I love what you have shared here Edwardo! I absolutely agree that Serge Benhayon and his wonderful family have offered us so much.

  16. There are so many great people we are surrounded by and yet we are being driven busier and busier and more conveniently away from even speaking to them let alone seeing them. Why is this so and how is it supporting us? I remember a time when work and life were closer together and so were neighbours. It wasn’t that long ago and I am not saying everything was great back then either but I am saying staying connected to people for me is super important and without it where are we?

  17. Well I have to agree, the Benhayons are definitely a gift to humanity! We have an opportunity to see a family live in a way that is incredibly supportive of each other as well as holding others equal to that.

  18. It’s so true Eduardo, ‘the gap between the reality and truth of what is presented by UniMed, and what the press has published, cannot be wider or deeper’.

  19. When I was first introduced to Serge Benhayon in 2005 I couldn’t get any of what he was saying either and thought it was just me. I didn’t have a degree but I could feel energy and that was enough for me to sense from the very beginning that what Serge Benhayon was presenting was the truth. Twelve years later and my yearning for truth keeps on expanding. I still attend workshops and presentations and I know from previous experience that if Universal Medicine was not the absolute truth I would have packed my bags and left long ago.

  20. The responsibility we hold to live our life from our grandness is for each of us to discern, understand and claim. For it is this absolute fact, that we are grand, that we have spent a life time in denial of. Yet acceptance of it is the one thing we know to be true, responsibly living it is now a choice we have, with deepest thanks to Serge Benhayon and the Ageless Wisdom he has reminded us of.

  21. As much as the physical world tries to tell us that we are all separate beings, we are all inter-connected and when we allow ourselves to feel energy, we can easily feel this fact of life.

  22. Interesting point here that is it possible that when we choose our career or profession or job we are looking for recognition just as much as we are looking for financial security?

  23. Universal Medicine has brought about the understanding of my innate awareness I naturally hold within. We all have this. Without this awareness I am harming myself. It’s always been but the facts are the world does not support you in being fully aware – Universal Medicine supports you in your energetic awareness to make choices that support building love in the body and thus returning it (LOVE) to the world.

  24. 12 “I also could feel clearly the value and potential of my hands as a ‘tool’ of love” The way we live with ourselves and with all others is in our own hands. The energy of love flowing through the palms of the hand changes the way I touch everything.

  25. It was really beautiful to ready your story… of your awakening awareness to the world of energy and your choice to address the momentum of your choices… to the empowerment you now embrace. Gorgeous. The media can say what they like, but they cannot discount the transformations that are taking place from those who have been inspired to change their lives thanks to Universal Medicine.

  26. And what I am coming to realise more and more Eduardo is that it is not only is it our hands that can be our ‘tools of love’, so too can the quality of what we express in all that we do including our words, our intentions and in every movement we make.

  27. It’s interesting in that all that time at University and it is only when attending Universal Medicine that the way you care and tend to yourself and others has greatly shifted. It really raises the question over how intelligent are we when we hand over everything to a very limited mind and ignore even the basic wellbeing of our body, which we live in. I know I have done exactly the same thing with various studies, from the perspective of being accepted. Attending Universal Medicine has only brought me to a greater understanding of myself and others and how important it is to care for and nurture our bodies.

  28. Beautiful to hear your story Eduardo… discovering the deeper truth and love that exists within us is quite something I agree, and a journey I will never turn my back on again. I too was an ‘athiest’ of sorts, not believing in any of the conventional representations of God or religion. I now consider myself deeply religious and have not a shred of doubt in my entire being about the fact of God either.

  29. What a beautiful testimony Eduardo of your experience of Universal Medicine and your on-going journey with reconnecting with your body and the truth it knows. I love how you describe your first experience of hand-on healing and coming to see ‘my hands as a ‘tool’ of love’ – I can feel how enormous and super simple that is, our hands expressing love everywhere they go.

  30. It’s so simple to feel that you are expressing absolute truth Eduardo, with the humbleness of an open-hearted deeply tender and powerful man. Thank You.

  31. This article shows that intellectual aspirations alone with out the guidance of our heart and body hold not the fullness that we as humans deserve to live with.

  32. I agree Eduardo, everything Serge Benhayon and his family offer is an immense gift to humanity. My life has also dramatically changed thanks to Universal Medicine, and I also now take precious care of myself and my body which has had a huge impact on my health and all aspects of my wellbeing. Serge is definitely an extraordinary person worthy of comprehensive study – not media vilification.

  33. Eduardo,
A piece of writing that genuinely explores the before and after ways of living that are experienced when one chooses the Way Of The Livingess, as presented by Serge Benhayon, as their way.

  34. I agree – the mind and the body do not often agree on what and who to trust and the mind likes to argue. But when someone is not even enjoining to argue, we are left to feel the futility of the point of our argument – and in this case, the body is the marker of truth.

  35. Learning with the body is the most amazing education I have ever experienced. I feel inspired everyday because this is something I have not devoted much energy towards in the past and it is wondrous to open up so many things I do not know. Making a choice to return to understanding the body has allowed me the opportunities to truly care for it and with these choices, I get to truly find out what allows this body to function in more vitality.

  36. Eduardo I love that you share that it is important to understand that our ‘mind and body do not necessarily agree on what and who to trust’, it’s so true and is a distinction we all need to be very aware of.

  37. A great sharing thank you Eduardo and many gems are written here, especially when you say Serge Benhayon is a gift to humanity – the most amazing gift that continues to keep giving.

  38. Beautiful Eduardo, very real, and I love how you’ve described your unfoldment with your relationship with yourself, with God and religion. The line spoke to me deeply ‘I came across UniMed without really having a clue of what was in store for me, without any expectation of what I could gather from it, and without any need’, what a great platform to explore from and I love the openness with how you approached it all, Very inspiring and a great reminder in how we can approach life, and what I love deeply about Universal Medicine is it’s the the first place I’ve come across where I am not pandered to in any way, but where I am met in a way that says you are grand and always offers you the reflection of grandness as inspiration.

  39. To have love and truth presented so clearly to be sincerely felt and understood is indeed a blessing. It’s obvious that the media has deliberately misunderstood and deliberately misrepresented Serge Benhayon for whatever ends. There is no mistaking love and truth. It can only be deliberate mischief.

  40. Eduardo, I have re-read your blog and am deeply touched again by your beautiful account of your awakening to yourself and God. It is profound when we feel that God is within us in our tiniest cells. God is in the space within and around us and when we feel this there is so much that we held that can no longer be held. Thank you for the love that you are.

  41. This is a huge, honest and loving journey you are on Eduardo. When I read accounts of the changes people have brought to their lives after listening to Serge Benhayon, what is truly clear is that although our past lives have been so different, we are all so much the same and so equal. And as you so beautifully said, my love to him is also beyond this life.
As to the media in this country who printed and spread lies about a truly good man, they are severely misguided and lack ethics, which is a very sad thing to say about anyone.

  42. I too appreciate Serge Benhayon in so many ways, especially for “helping me to discover that there is a grander version of me”. I had never felt grand in my life until Serge and Universal came into my life and showed me there is another way to live and that the version of me that I had been living was far from the grand being that was waiting to be rediscovered.

  43. “I also could feel clearly the value and potential of my hands as a ‘tool’ of love (in the pure and deep sense of the word), of expression, and healing.” I can remember this realisation when I attended my first Sacred Esoteric Healing course presented by Serge Benhayon and am increasingly aware of the potential and responsibility that is in my hands with all that I touch.

  44. Yes Eduardo, Serge Benhayon, his family and Universal Medicine are indeed an amazing gift and offer a truly needed service to humanity. Why is it that the media pick up a story and run with it without investigating the true facts which lie behind the person who has made these malicious claims? Could it be that it’s because they don’t want the truth to get in the way of a ‘good story’?

  45. “This description of heartfelt thanks and appreciation for all that Serge and Universal Medicine has shared with humanity is priceless, it echoes my feelings as well..”My gratitude goes to Serge and UniMed for helping me to discover that there is a grander version of me that I can aspire to become on a permanent basis, as a result of me making more consistent loving choices. My love to him is beyond this life.” True self-empowerment and agency is only the tip of what there is to unfold and allow about ourselves, thanks to this incredible being and to the incredible beings we now understand each and every one of us to be.

  46. Your words are truly beautiful to read Eduardo… it is clear that Universal Medicine has had a profound effect on your life and opened you to a knowing and grandness within yourself that people only dream of… this is a gift we have all been blessed by that the media sadly denies humanity of through it’s lies.

  47. Since I have begun to rely more on my body I can see clearly that relying solely on my mind for years has been very detrimental to my life. Now I feel my whole body and it’s given me much greater depth in understanding life and the situations I find myself in.

  48. A fabulous article Eduardo showing how knowledge and the mind is not all its cracked up to be. ” This increasing awareness of the world of energy and its impact on the physical world is not always easy, as sometimes you get contradictory messages from your mind and body that may affect you because you wish things were different. Yet, for good or bad, what is clear to me is that what is true is what the body registers. My body is really clear about Serge and UniMed. They are as truth-full as it gets.” As I learn to trust my body more and my mind less I am learning so much more about myself – deepening in a way I would not have thought possible – despite 20+ years of spiritual-seeking, which never gave me any answers. Coming to Universal Medicine has been like coming home – and to true family. Serge Benhayon is a man who walks his talk and whose wisdom is endless.

  49. The last 10 years, since first meeting Serge Benhayon, have been the most amazing years of my life. I have slowly began to unravel me and get to the understanding of who I really am; I have learned to release the masks I had worn for many decades and to understand that the roles that I took on were not in reality, me at all; and I have realised that under all the masks, roles, ideals and beliefs there has been an amazing me, waiting to be re-connected to. To rediscover the authentic me has been such a wonderful unfoldment and each day I appreciate with every part of me having Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine in my life. As you say Eduardo: “They are as truth-full as it gets. They have my full trust.”, as they have mine.

  50. What is on offer to us is beyond this world and yet accessible with some simple tools and a commitment to developing a quality of presence that allows one to make this discovery for themselves.

  51. It is amazing how just one presentation of the fact of energy and how we feel it can blow all the honed, academic intellect and mind driven intelligence out of the water. I have learned the hard way that all the thinking in the world will never get you to feeling more sensitively and subtly the energy at play, in healing and in everything. But rather bringing presence to the body and awareness, feeling from within, can then inform the mind with an intelligence I would not have believed possible.

  52. ‘These two days proved to be as odd as they were powerful’ I love this emfeldman.. for me my first 2 day healing course at UM knowing nothing of it beforehand, nor had any friends doing it who could warm me up, it was certainly a shock, a dismay and a joy in equal measure. The shock that here was someone who was telling it like it is, and that I knew was true, the dismay from realising the game was up, all the games and harmful behaviours I was slowly destroying myself with, and all the running, had come to the end of the road, [or at least put on final notice]. and the Joy that finally I had found my way back home. It was indeed an odd weekend – like no other before.

  53. This is a great account of what truly changes when coming to the Universal Medicine events, and inspired by Serge Benhayon, to incorporate the teachings in your life.

  54. Eduardo this sums up what Universal Medicine has done for me, it has shown me that “there is a grander version of me that I can aspire to become”. I agree wholeheartedly that it opens up so many beautiful possibilities, the voyage has just begun but it can only lead towards expansion and light.

  55. Eduardo, you highlight so well the beauty of what Universal Medicine offers a way back to us, to our whole bodies, to living from those whole bodies with deep love and true self care. And integrity and dedication with which it is presented is second to none. I’ve never met anything like it, and it’s gift to us all.

  56. I love how you share how Universal Medicine offers us to see and live our grandness instead of staying in the contracted and reduced version of who we truly are. It is an unfolding journey that only offers highlight after highlight as the re-connection to the body and to ourselves as living Son’s of God is of such beauty and at the same time simplicity that life in its simplest way is pure joy.

  57. Like wise Eduardo – it has taken some time to re-aquaint myself with the world of feeling energy and in it I have found a whole new way of being myself and being able to handle the world. I share your deep appreciation of everything that Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine offers through the workshops and teachings – they are very healing indeed.

  58. Eduardo I love your honesty, I have felt too in Universal Medicine courses that there is a much grander version of me and that my body knows this so well, but my choices often oppose it.

  59. I really enjoy the way that you write, super simple, natural and joyful, it feels as if I was having a conversation with you. I get your description of feeling as though you where ‘coming home’ I also did not have any preconceptions about Universal Medicine would offer and when I attended Heart Chakra 1 for the first time, it just made sense and I began taking small steps to getting in touch with my body and responding to it rather than staying in my head. Universal Medicine is an absolute, “gift to humanity’.

  60. I wrote this blog some three years ago. This was the first time I have re-read it since it was published. The essence of what I wrote is still with me, obviously deepened. During this time, I have felt the completeness of God and the true beauty of the universe (to which we are part of), I have discovered how special is my relationship with God and to what extent my attempt to live a life without him was just pure desolation, pure tension that required relief, always incomplete, hence always anxious. It is easy and difficult to share how it feels when we feel complete: natural, familiar, deep deep sigh saying at last we are back and just allowing to feel divinely cuddled and hugged by this feeling that takes you completely in love. So, the journey continues and it is even more beautiful as I go on.

    1. Thank you for your update, Eduardo, in which you share about your deepening relationship with God and the universe. And I agree with you after our initial choice to go on this journey, it continues and keeps getting more and more beautiful.

    2. What a great way to express that wonderful feeling as being like a divine cuddle and hug. Love it Eduardo. A great blog and it was nice to get an update on your continuing journey that is ever deepening.

    3. Thank you Eduardo for openly sharing your deepening connection to yourself – enjoy the beautiful journey and the ‘divine cuddles’ I love that expression 🙂

  61. ” … the gap between the reality and truth of what is presented by UniMed, and what the press has published, cannot be wider or deeper.”
It’s unfathomable to me how the press can live with themselves when, not only UniMed but many organisations and people, are very misrepresented in their articles? It would just be such a yucky feeling to live with – that lack of integrity, that deliberate distorting, that taking-out-of-context and other ‘tricks’ – all to drum up sensationalism in order to sell a newspaper. I guess it might be similar to how a prostitute lives with themselves?

  62. This is a great testimony of how we all can feel energy and that we just have to open up to the fact and that then our body is the marker of truth. It shows how our mind holds us captured in a invisible prison and makes us believe we have it all, when in reality we are reducing ourselves to a much lesser version of ourselves. The more we live from our mind the more we are corrupted by an energy that is not aligned to our true essence.

  63. Thanks for detailing your experience with Universal Medicine, the vast majority of people who come into contact with Serge Benhayon make positive lifestyle changes and also take full responsibility for their lives.

  64. For a world and mind that is very fixed on the physicality of life the idea of feeling energy and truth via the body may be outlandish, but actually everyone´s body is doing it anyway. By bringing some awareness to the fact and phenomena, everyone can reconnect to their body and start re-developing body awareness and feeling energy, we just have not been supported in continuing to do so since childhood and hence have lost touch with it and we may not have a language yet to express precisely what it is that we feel in the beginning. It might take a bit of time to wind down the dominance of the mind but step by step we recover our most valuable innate ability – to feel and discern energy.

    1. Very true, it’s not until you actually stop and pay attention to the mind that you realise just how dominating and in control it is, there is such a different feeling in paying attention to what your body has to say vs. paying attention to your mind.

  65. Very true Eduardo that the gap between the truth and reality is very wide between what Unimed presents and what the media publishes. The lack of responsibility, honesty and truth from the media serves only to maintain the dis-ease and unrest of humanity living in separation to their true divine and rightful way of living together in Brotherhood.

  66. Eduardo, I was so impressed by how far you have come since being connected to Universal Medicine. I felt that you have connected to the truth of who Serge Benhayon and what Universal Medicine represents. I too have often sat in the middle between pure love and pure evil, but I feel to reclaim the pure love that I am. Thank you for your inspiration to claim this for myself.

  67. Thank you for so openly sharing how you have made changes to your life through your own choices Eduardo. It’s awesome to read how you’ve stepped into your power and grandness.

    1. Yes Eduardo, Bravo! Most deeply felt for me is this statement..”The world we live in is tremendously void of love and of people that work hard to really bring truth to it. Serge and all of the Benhayons are among the few people that really stand out big time. What they present is extraordinary on all counts. It is a gift for humanity.” Magnificent words of heartfelt truth for a Majestic family, bringing love and truth to the planet. We are deeply blessed by this family, more and more everyday.

  68. Eduardo, I love the humility with which you express about the changes you have made for yourself, and the simplicity in which you present that you now listen to your body over your mind. I am still deepening that choice and have found that I can be very stubborn, at times in certain areas, in letting go of being ruled by the mind.

    1. I agree Pernilla – I was ruled for a long time by my mind / head / thoughts which I realise now kept me contained and contracted (while arrogantly thinking I knew it all!). What a refreshing change to relearn to be led by the body which leaves me feeling light, open and expansive.

  69. Thank you Eduardo, what you have shared here really shows how powerful identification with something outside yourself can really take us away from who we are. So beautiful that you opened to deeply feeling the messages coming from your body. This work is so needed for humanity.

  70. What a beautiful account of your journey since attending Universal Medicine workshops. I can feel in all that you say that every step you have taken has been of your own choice with not an ounce of being a blind follower or of being ‘brainwashed’. Serge Benhayon is a true inspiration and if the media stopped to take a real look and to report with some truth and integrity, I’m sure their story would read very differently.

  71. Well done Eduardo, you have stated the fact: “the gap between the reality and truth of what is presented by UniMed, and what the press has published, cannot be wider or deeper.” Then you have explained with great detail exactly what that means to you. The facts are very clear and the press got it completely wrong.

  72. Eduardo, what a wonderful testimonial to the wisdom and common sense that Serge Benhayon presents to the world; one that I whole-heartedly endorse. I have been attending Serge’s workshops for more than 10 years now and I totally agree with you when you say: “the gap between the reality and truth of what is presented by UniMed, and what the press has published, cannot be wider or deeper.” There is an extraordinary story here waiting to be told, one that would benefit humanity hugely, and it it bears no resemblance to the lies and mis-truths, that have been, and are still being, published.

  73. Serge Benhayon and family work very hard at bringing truth, love and true healing in a world that has forgotten what truth and integrity is. They are living a testimony in teaching about love and living it. My appreciation for them is immense.

  74. Eduardo, I love how you describe it, that Universal Medicine and Serge Benhayon inspired you to be a grander version of yourself. Very true, we as a society have settled for a way of living which is a small version of who we are, and Serge has inspired many to look beyond this and consider and eventually live the more they truly are. It’s a journey any of us can take, at any time and we get to the glory that is us.

  75. Beautifully said Eduardo. I share your experience of when I first attended a presentation by Serge Benhayon that “This was the beginning of a beautiful journey back to a different version of me; back to love and back to God.” In finding the true me I am finding true love.

  76. Thank you Eduardo for such an inspiring blog. Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine came into my life quite a few years ago but I am continually surprised by what is presented each time I attend the courses or presentations. This shows how we can grow continually through our lives and just how beautiful that is. To be in the livingness of these teachings is an on going learning for me and I love this , so my eternal gratitude goes to all of the Universal Medicine family .

  77. Yes Eduardo, the Benhayons and Universal Medicine are true blessings to this world, ever standing in truth, unwavering up against a massive force to the contrary. The truth of what they bring is palpable and can be clearly felt in every cell in the body. Simply amazing.

  78. Eduardo, thank you for sharing your experience with Universal Medicine, a wonderful account of how you have come back to you. I too have attended these courses and they have changed my life immeasurably, beyond words. And you are right, it is like coming home, beginning to feel who the true ‘me’ actually is, and that feels awesome.

“I felt deep inside that what was presented by UniMed was something worth pursuing”, the answer to this is, UniMed is most DEFINITELY worth pursuing, as it is the only way of truth in the world and humanity is crying out for it.

  79. Eduardo I really loved reading your blog. It’s truly beautiful to read a man’s perspective and experience of Universal Medicine. Serge Benhayon gives so much, but the most important thing is – he gives us back to ourselves. Through his presentations and the Gentle Breath Meditation we get the gift of reconnection, not just to our inner being, but also to our body. With this we have an amazing ability to discern the truth.

  80. Thank you for spelling out so clearly how much your life has changed for the better by introducing the wisdom of the body and letting it now inform and mutually inspire the knowledge kept in the mind.

  81. “The gap between the reality and truth of what is presented by UniMed, and what the press has published, cannot be wider or deeper.” I don’t know how the reporters got it so wrong but they did. Thank you for sharing Eduardo.

  82. I love when you said “This was the beginning of a beautiful journey back to a different version of me” – realising that the ‘me’ I thought I had known and identified with was not actually me at all was such a relief.

  83. Thankyou Eduardo for sharing the fact that what Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine presents is ‘a gift to humanity’. I absolutely agree with you.

  84. Thank you for sharing your beautiful journey. The press have dubbed those who attend Universal Medicine events as ‘brainwashed women’. Your truth blows open their purposely misleading story.

  85. Wow beautifully expressed Eduardo, the way your life has transformed by your loving choices is truly inspiring to us all. What Serge Benhayon lives and presents consistently, I agree is ‘ a gift to humanity ‘

  86. Eduardo your description and account of going to a Universal medicine event and the profound awareness that it ignited for a better way of living with yourself as well as the world is something i can definitely relate to . Thanks for your very honest and inspiring article.

  87. Thank you Eduardo for such a beautiful sharing. I loved your paragraph ‘My gratitude goes to Serge and UniMed for helping me to discover that there is a grander version of me that I can aspire to become on a permanent basis, as a result of me making more consistent loving choices. My love to him is beyond this life.’ Just gorgeous. And I second that.

  88. Excellent blog Eduardo. I love what you say here about Universal Medicine and Serge Benhayon, ‘They are as truth-full as it gets. They have my full trust.’ This is very true and the strength of your claim is very inspiring. I can relate to those changes you have made in your life, as I have made them too, and for me, having that trust is what has allowed me to first, implement those changes and second, to continue making the choices that truly support me.

  89. And as we give more and more credence to the body in the way we live – making it the fore through which we understand and experience life – the more the body and the mind start to work together, both aligned to the same energy of true Love. And this blows our previous ‘mental pursuits’ out of the water, in terms of our clarity and depth of thought, and the universal quality to it – a way of thinking which is not for yourself solely, but for everyone equally.

    1. This is very powerful and beautiful Conor, I related to your description of the “universal quality to it – a way of thinking which is not for yourself solely, but for everyone equally” The quality of life expands and deepens by committing to get to know our bodies and connecting with Love and this naturally becomes about the All rather than the individual.

Eduardo, the quote “…thanks to my affiliation with UniMed and Serge, I feel discerningly empowered.” I love ‘discerningly empowered’ a succinct description of a how I have felt myself change over the last few years through my connection with Universal Medicine.

Also as you say “This was the beginning of a beautiful journey back to a different version of me; back to love and back to God. I do not say this lightly, for I considered myself an atheist up until very recently when I started noticing how it felt untrue in my body to call myself this….” It came from your body, you felt a truth within you. I have felt a truth that has nudged and called me often and I have often attempted to ignore it. I am only now really supporting it to blossom, I can feel something that feels very true, we have a connection with the all, we in that sense all one. I am also finding my way back to God.

      1. Conor and Samantha, I love what you’ve both shared here – That it’s a way of thinking not for us alone but for everyone. And we access that through a deeper connection to our bodies, not our minds. The exact opposite of what we think! And how many of us do think of ourselves as atheist or agnostic when it’s just not true in our bodies but we’ve just not allowed ourselves to feel it – often we’ve been hurt and want to give up on us and God, and the truth is we are of God. It’s quite something for me to write this, as before I would have shied away from this and yet now I know it’s true we’re all of God, it’s still something I’m learning to live and allow, but I know deep in me it’s true, so much so that I can now say I’m religious without any feeling of reaction. Eduardo, I just love how you’ve described your unfolding from being mind driven (know this one well) to being with the body and the mind.

    2. What you have written here Conor is truly profound. I read it several times, and felt the truth of it. That is the way to live every day.

  90. Eduardo, it’s equally beautiful to read again, had me smiling as I felt the power of your choices as you went along and allowed yourself to feel. I know this, I’ve learned through Universal Medicine that I can feel and that there is so much more to me than the mind.

  91. Serge Benhayon is truly an extraordinary ordinary man. He has inspired many of us to feel where we are at and then discern for ourselves if we choose to change. I am learning that it is not about the mind alone, but when we are connected to our body – in union with the mind – that true change can come about. I now know to look within – no more searching outside for answers – and yet they have been there all along!

  92. History shows us that great extraordinary people, who really are making a difference, often get targeted and attacked and misunderstood. Serge Benhayon is one of those great extraordinary people. Through the organisation he has established with help from other great and extraordinary people, Universal Medicine, he has inspired many other people now to live more harmonious and vital lives. He has made the extraordinary ordinary.

  93. Beautifully expressed Eduardo. You took me right back to my first experience at the workshops you mention, and I remember that strange feeling of not understanding what was going on yet knowing it was a truth I had been searching for. Of course I was trying to understand with my mind, it kept on interfering, but when I got out of the way and felt, and trusted the feeling, then a whole new way of being and making choices opened up to me. How I was then and how I am now, seven years later, are so far apart, (even though, as you say, there is so much more to do), as are the truth that is presented by Serge Benhayon for our own discerning, and the lies being told in the press and on the net.

  94. Beautiful Eduardo, thank you for sharing. It’s amazing how much we feel when we allow it, and I recognise much in what you write about – I’ve very much been a slave to my mind and ignored the body, and since coming across Universal Medicine I’m beginning to redress that balance.

  95. Yes I totally agree, it was lovely to read your journey of connecting back to your own way and trust. Serge is a gift to humanity, and we can be a gift to others when we listen to our body and live our truth and not hold it back.

  96. Your journey is very familiar Eduardo, I recoiled at words like God or religion but once I realised that it was because I was reacting to the false teachings that had been taught to me – that I had never been offered the ‘truth’ of these words. It felt like I had been let out of prison and was free…

  97. I love how you so clearly state that you were “in full command of your mental abilities.” I know exactly what you mean because in my experience, the majority of people who attend universal medicine workshops are high functioning, intelligent, independent people. It is refreshing and inspiring to meet the individuals that attend these courses as they are commited to living in a way that is respectful of themselves and others. Over time I have watched students develop a sense of ease within their lives, allowing them to contribute more to the community by way of being sincerely engaged in life. Sadly more and more people that I meet in this world are too stressed, exhausted or rundown to engage fully in their lives or communities. Not only has Serge and his family been great examples of how I can live a more full life, but so too have many other participants and practitioners shown me by way of example what is truly possible.

  98. Hi Eduardo, I have not met you yet in person but could feel you so strongly by reading your blog, it is truly incredible. While reading, after every paragraph I heard myself repeating “AWESOME!” Your honesty and clarity is very inspiring and you claiming your truth is totally enjoyable. And YES, the Benhayons are a ‘gift to humanity’, and I consider myself as truly blessed to be here, having the opportunity to study with Unimed at this point in time. It is simply amazing.

  99. Thank you so much for sharing, Eduardo. Your words are so clear and so loving for yourself and us all.

  100. I remember working with you Eduardo during those very first UniMed workshops that you attended. Although I had been involved with UniMed teachings for almost two years prior to that I had not gone passed page 50 of “The Way It Is” book. I understood all the words but I could not grasp all the concepts. Talking of God – to me, he was then still this big, white bearded guy somewhere ‘up there’ (wherever that is) and I could just not relate to that. But then bit by bit, as you so tenderly described, through my own unfoldment, when certain concepts became my own livingness and my own truth and not something that Serge had said or had written, through that I started to feel I was part of something much grander – part (the son) of God! And that is a truly amazing and empowering feeling.

  101. So beautifully expressed Eduardo, I could feel the gentleness with which you have allowed yourself to listen to your body. It is so easy to go into the mind to counter and over-ride all the little signs our body gives us.

  102. Eduardo thank for writing this, your clear expression of love here is felt in the same way as it is in person. Yes absolutely – love is the gift for humanity and as you have shared in your experiences, that in unwrapping this precious gift, there can be complete joy and beauty found within.

  103. So true and so real, the “odd and yet powerful” – it is only odd because the life around us has made what is so natural seem so unnatural. Thankfully we have found our way back to the so very natural way to be.

  104. Beautifully expressed Eduardo, very inspiring! I love the distinction you make that it is your body that trusts Serge and what he presents when you’ve been trained to use your mind to understand things (political science). That is a shift many find hard to make, but you show it is possible with just an openness and willingness to feel what is actually true and learn to trust that.

    1. It is our body that trusts, having the openness and willingness to feel allows this trust to develop.

  105. Thanks for this, yes I have experienced an incredible shift in energy levels and sleep so much better since I re-learned the simplicity of listening to my body. It’s awesome feeling more energetic than I was decades ago! What joy in that?! I too am on a long journey of incredible love ahead, thanks for expressing so clearly.

  106. Eduardo, I laughed out loud at your being an atheist and not saying ‘God’ lightly as I can relate so much to that! It’s only recently that I can no longer deny what I feel to be with me, loving and supporting me unconditionally, something which has never left me. It feels so amazing to finally not deny God and the grand love we all are.

  107. Thank you Eduardo. I loved reading your blog. I too didn’t know what was in store for me when I first attended a Universal Medicine workshop. What I did feel from the very first workshop was that Serge Benhayon was a man like no other I had ever met and what he presented was unlike anything I had ever heard or experienced. Coming also from a university / corporate background, having listened to many presentations, lectures and conferences from many well-respected professionals in their field, no-one came close to the level of integrity I could feel from Serge. I finally met a man who had walked his talk, and have since discovered how truly powerful this is. What he shares with all those that attend workshops and courses is absolutely life-changing.

  108. This sums up my experience with Universal Medcine. A feeling of coming home to myself and learning to trust what my body feels thanks to people who are loving and consistent in every way. Your words struck a chord in me Eduardo, thank you.

  109. Thank you Eduardo for describing so clearly what can happen in one UniMed workshop. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if the next journalist who decides to write an article about Serge or Universal Medicine actually takes a course or workshop before writing about them?

  110. Thank you Eduardo. I loved reading your blog and the changes you have made and how you have come to trust your body more and more. Also it is clear that you developed the awareness for yourself of what is true and not true by using this marker of your body and what you feel energetically – how empowering is that? This shows how far away the media are from understanding Unimed when they talk about ‘brainwashing’ given that we use our own body as a marker and not the brain!

    1. Yes Eunice and Eduardo, it is so great to point out that anything Serge Benhayon is presenting can be tried for yourself and felt in your own body for you to decide whether it is the right thing for you or not. Brainwashing is just not possible. I had no idea that gluten made me exhausted until the possibility was pointed out to me in a presentation by Serge and I went home and tried it. No bread or cake for a while and then I tried some and felt so instantly unbelievably exhausted. It was as clear as day to me that gluten does in fact affect my body. Empowered by that presentation, I have now made a very informed and self-empowered choice which means I live without the ‘brain fog’ that gluten was giving me all the time.

      1. Kate we’ll shared, I have had the same experience, with gluten, dairy and definitely sugar. Our bodies show us if what we eat supports us or makes us feel tired, bloated etc. I am so grateful for Serge’s presentations as I have made so many different changes, which have increased my energy levels and wellbeing.

  111. Thank you Eduardo for your beautiful words of truth, it is really lovely to read all you have achieved for yourself in such a short period of time. I totally agree with you when you say the Benhayon’s are a gift for humanity, they offer us so much by way of inspiration and love, yet this is all offered so simply and is tangibly made available to all of us equally, WOW!
